Had to drill the screws to plug in the stupid ribbon cable. Had to take out a fan to get there. Internal ethernet cable is busted, had to replace it. Everything inside is covered in spooge. All the cards are loose and shaky.
Now Im stuck at 0gh/s. anyone have any ideas?
This happened to me. Re-flash the firmware from the Bitmain webpage if you havent already (grab the latest one). fired right up after for me.
I already did that. Having cooling issues now. Seems like if any module touches 63C the entire thing shuts down.

Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip
Only other thing I can think of is power, but i am sure you have tested and ruled that out first right?
Yeah I did that.
I think one card on each miner is dead.

Im about to throw this thing out the window honestly.
I have had every problem with this unit. Bad Display, bad screws, bad internal ethernet cable, not hashing for hours, everything covered in spooge, bad PSU.

And now it turned itself off again.
Im sorry Im not sure how much more of this i can take.
changed to a few diff IP addresses and no joy still.
0GH/s
I am sorry. Normally I would be able to help but I just did not do anything meaningful and it started working.
Hostname antMiner Protocol Static IP address is unique and open Netmask is 255.255.255.0 Gateway is 192.168.1.1 which is what I set my modem to. DNS servers to 8.8.8.8
I flashed to the new firmware
I removed every single card and reseated them
I had one loose ribbon cable. I fixed it.
I powered down and back up a few times.
Good luck.

AntMiner S1 sales open Antminer S1 currently mine at about 0.0124524324 BTC per day without overclocking. (Current Difficulties: 6,978,842,650) *Pool luck may increase or decrese the mining rate.
Im looking right in the GUI, not on my pools website.

I got it working.
No idea how. I changed DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 though. But then it wouldnt work for awhile.
I go afk for a second. Come back 10 minutes later, its working.
once you get it updated to the current firmware dated april 10, theres a DIAGNOSTICS tab in the Network config that lets you ping, traceroute, and nslookup.
When i hit ping it just says "ping bitmaintech.com"
Haha. But on a serious note, try it with only one module ? Does the green light blinks on any of the modules ?
Your network gateway is wrong.
Its the same as all my other machines. Is that wrong?

Nothing.
Whats a BBB?
As far as I can tell, since the boards are hot, its doing SOMETHING. Maybe mining for Bitmaintech??
But no hashrate.

There is one blinking blue LED by the ethernet port cable.
There is a solid green LED on the middle card in the center of the rig.

There is a solid red LED on the middle card in the center of the rig.
There are 2 solid red LEDs on the bott board where all of the other boards plug into. They are between cards 3 and 4 from the top, and 3 and 4 from the bottom.

Also noteworthy is that at Aggression 6 I have full control of my desktop still.
