It's impossible to overstate how bad Bitmain products have become. Yes the S17 and T17 units are complete garbage. The S19 garbage isn't much better. Bitmain needs to be put out of business. They've ripped off 1000's of miners in the last 2 years.

These units hash at different rates. That's important.

The reason your units are crippled is because of Vnish. That firmware has destroyed more chip boards than anyone can count. It is extremely destructive and people need to be warned and stay away from that crap. Bitmain's S17 series are very weak ASIC to begin with. Running that garbage Vnish only hastens their inevitable demise.

The S17 is the worst unit Bitmain has ever produced. Well, alongside the S15 and T15's. Basically every Bitmain effort in 7nm has been a complete disaster. You could give them away but even then, the person that got them for free, will want to punch you in the face within a week.

That unit's selling for $12,000.00. There is a Global Micro Chip shortage. That ROI is now 24 months at .04 per Kwh. There will be a lot of used ones for sale within 6 months as all the stupid COLO's and leveraged Mega farms that paid $120.00 per TH, go belly up because they can't service their debt. We've all seen this movie before. Good riddance to them all.
