Hoard has it all really.  If there is something you can think of that is missing from crypto they pretty much have it.  The biggest thing they will solve is instant trasnfers an near zero fees.  I also love the app where if I have someone email or phone number I can send them crypto without even knowing their address.  How cool is an app that is out before the ICO.

Also while the nodes system is still underdevelopement you can stake your tokens until it is ready.  I don't see anyone selling tokens anytime soon.

Hi guys  I have configured and have been using awesome miner for a few weeks.  Almost every day I find the mining status is set to stopped and its not mining anymore.

I added a 2nd rig also and both seem to stop at the same time.

I went through the log files and there doesn't seem to be any error.   I can see where it goes from Managed Profit Switching processing: JessePC, IsRunning: TRUE  to False.

But there doesn't seem to be a reason for it to stop.  I have a third rig I was going to add but I wanted to get this problem sorted before purchasing.

I have checked the logs but dont really see the problem.

That is the last few entries in the log.

did you have issues running the mining software by themselves or during benchmarks? might check if that was the Microsoft Visual C Redist package 2013 issue, if it is, you just need to download and install the package from Microsoft.

ccMiner Alexis needed msvcr120.dll, and the one included in zip by AM default (as downloaded from several other places) sometimes seem to not work / compatible.

Just wild guessing if that's the problem.

it's best to install vcredist 2015,2017 as well if not done so on your system, newer software might use them.

Think I figured out the issue is I had misclicked somewhere and it was trying to mine skunkhash with alexis and didnt like it.  During benchmarks it just closes and moves onto the next thing so you don't even notice it.  Kind of anoying it makes the whole program stop.  I put in some rules to hopefully fix it if more errors like that show up but it will let me know there is an error.

[ANN][PRE-SALE] 🔥 IceBreakerAR – Augmented Reality Social Platform 🔥
by
EvilMonkey
on 09/05/2018, 00:08:25 UTC

Summary

IceBreakerAR will bridge the virtual world with reality by providing a revolutionary tool that removes the core barriers which prevent humans from reaching out and interacting with one another. Users of IceBreakerAR will have the confidence to approach each other and be equipped with conversational tools which can assist initiating the interaction in an innovative and fun manner, from whether the user is seeking a relationship, friendship or networking/business opportunity. In addition, all user data is secured in the blockchain thereby providing the highest
standard of security and integrity.

The Problem

Dating, meeting and career networking websites and apps have not undergone a meaningful evolution since entering the market in the early 2000’s. The most recent progression is simply porting the website onto smart devices, but the mechanism has largely been passive. Users must create a profile, scroll through innumerable matches, strike a conversation and attempt to move the online connection to the real world. In addition, they suffer from the same core issues.

Solving the Problem

IceBreakerAR‘s solution is comprised of four components working in unison to provide a fun, secure and seamless user experience via:

IOS/ANDROID APP | AUGMENTED REALITY | RETAIL PARTNERSHIPS | BLOCKCHAIN

iOS and Android
Users have the option of a quick profile creation to get up and running as quickly as possible, or a more detailed profile setup for higher quality matches. Once at least one profile from either Dating, Friendship or Networking has been created, the user can begin to scan the vicinity for matches. The user can also seamlessly switch between categories to scan if they created a profile in multiple categories

Augmented Reality
The application will provide an augmented reality experience for the user by enabling them to scan their surroundings for other IceBreakerAR users who meet or exceed their defined match threshold percentage. The match results are displayed in an augmented reality fashion where an avatar represents the matches, displays the match percentage and top likes/dislikes. This avatar can be customized with a selection of free or purchased accessories.

Retail Partners
To further the value added experience for users, IceBreakerAR will form retail partnerships to provide benefits to the User. Users benefit from discounts, retailers benefit from increased sales, IceBreakerAR benefits from happy Users and Partners, it is a win-win-win paradigm.
• Retailers who provide a modest discount for IceBreakerAR Users will show up on scans
• IceBreakerAR provides retailers a zero risk model that will attract net new sales
• Only after an agreed to level of sales to IceBreakerAR users will the retailer pay a portion of the sale to IcebreakerAR

Blockchain usage
1. Security
Traditional servers or data are generally centralized, making it a likely target for malicious attacks. By looking at the Equifax’s security breaches and other cybersecurity concerns arising in recent times. Instead of having a single or limited # of server’s that hackers can attack, decentralization via the blockchain greatly increases the difficulty. The more participants/nodes in a network, the more copies of the data there is. Therefore, if you want to tamper with the data, you will need to attack every single node on the network and alter all of their data simultaneously. Not only does blockchain make data tamper-proof, it is also hard to breach. Every “block” on a chain contains a certain amount of data, and when that block gets filled, much like a USB drive, it is encrypted and sealed forever. To get the full picture, hackers will need to hack not just the current block, but also every block before it. This is not only technically almost impossible, but it is costly, thereby reducing the incentive for malicious activities.

2. Redundancy/Disaster Recovery
Essentially we would have the same set of data distributed across the world, we wouldn’t need to worry if we lose a node. This provides data resilience to IceBreakerAR, which gives peace of mind from any data corruption, server downtimes, backups, etc..

3. Overhead/cost reduction
Having a decentralized network of nodes to maintain this ledger allows IceBreakerAR to offset and offload hosting, security, and maintenance costs. It removes a lot of the costs of IT staffing, Dev Ops, and infrastructural overhead.

4. Accountability
With all of the above in place, you can be sure that everything that is logged or deployed on the blockchain, is accurate, and true.
All of this results in the ease of trust, and ease of the ability to do business in a transparent manner, without needing to trust the counter-party. You can simply leverage blockchain technology to let the data and facts speak for themselves. Do currently systems and data infrastructures work? Sure, but they are not perfect. They only exist the way they do because there hasn’t been technology that could come along and offer a vast improvement until the introduction of Blockchain.

5. Permissioned Blockchains
To only authorize a limited set of readers and writers, so-called permissioned blockchains have been recently proposed. Here, a central entity decides and attributes the right to individual peers to participate in the write or read operations of the blockchain. To provide encapsulation and privacy, reader and writer could also run in separated parallel blockchains that are interconnected.

6. GDPR Compliance
With our blockchain partner we will be able to encrypt our storage with 256-bit AES encryption as well as have the ability to remove data upon request from an individual user permanently

Just now i read that participants in bankera ICO are able to get their BNK tokens not sure how much truth is there in it but will wait for someone experience in scam resolution here to make some investigation.

You get them immediately.  I deposited some Eth.  It showed up within one minute and and I purchased BNK in 1 minute.  They are showing in the wallet.

How exactly do you disable alexis? My 6 voucher rig just crashes constantly with it.

Just put # infront of algo in ccminerAlexis78.ps1
But first try removing/lowering the intensities.
I read somewhere that Alexis has higher default intensities, more suited for 1070/1080/ti.
Also "skunk" = " -i 26 -d $SelGPUCC" #Skunk in tpruvot miner could be too high for non-1080ti?

Are the intensity changed in the bat file?

I don't think having a paypal dude on the board is a positive.  Paypal is something I hate using everytime I use it because the fees are complicated and annoying.  Monetha just appears to be a way of trying to bring something to market on blockchain tech and charge very high price of 1.5%.  Whereas it should be alot cheeper and there are other Coins offering this already.

Actually  if you mine zec or sigt or skein  on nicehash and auto convert  to btc  then buying eth and holding the eth,

you will earn more then mining and holding eth if you have 1080ti's

there are exceptions  but that is pretty much the facts.

A lot depends on how many cards  but mining zec skein and sigt have worked better for the most part.

I think my point was missed.  Chasing after a hot coin to convert to a "stable" coin is gambling just as much as mining the "stable" coin and holding.

What happens when Sigt has a flash crash and you are left holding a bag of now less worthwhile coins?  Mining with a single 1080ti on Equihash at Nicehash will require you to wait 14 days to generate enough BTC to allow them to pay out.  Sure you can have more GPUs to decrease that wait period but you aren't in control of your income, you are depending on the "market" at Nicehash to deliver.  Plus you pay 4% to transfer out to your external wallet from Nicehash.  No thanks.

By no means am I advocating mining ETH with a 1080ti... but people have their legitimate reasons.  Mostly because they don't want to have to babysit their rigs chasing a hot coin, dealing with new versions of miners, compiling from source or just trusting that newbie posting who claims an extra 3% hashrate increase,or lose tons of profit in autoconversion schemes, conversion fees, transfer fees, etc.

I wish I could retire and watch rigs all day chasing after the "next big thing".  I envy you Philip.

Nobody missed your silly point.  You still need to mine a minimum amount of eth before you can cash out, you can join pools that pay sooner.  There is no next best thing to constantly chase if you dont want to.  There is good old reliable fallback options such as zec and skien.  These have been consistently paying 30-50% more than ETH.  No one was chasing around after them, 5 minutes a day if you need to change your miners to something else.  Otherwise you just have a alert on your  phone to make sure they don't lose profitability.

That leaves you around 20 mins now and then to see if anything interesting comes along.  If it does you might spend an hour or two getting it going on all rigs.  But when it is something like SIG that lasted a month it is well well worth it.  Unfortunately I was lazy and let it sit for a few days, if I wasn't it could have easily been 100$ a day.

Point is you don't have to do much chasing to mine the most valuable coin and the reasons people mine ETH and hold it hoping it will go up is because they are lazy, uninformed or have no idea what they are doing.

I have a bunch of friends like that, they are all of those things above plus as you say have limited time.  But once I showed them the way they are kicking themselves for all those missed profits.

skunk is killing zec at the moment

It was awesome while it lasted. Still don't know what they were mining with skunk on nicehash.

party started quite awhile ago.... I think NH is late to capture the moment

only SIGT is the coin that I know of using skunk algo and currently only available at Cryptopia exchange

yea, it was great while it lasted...

SIGT is currently trading $0.0526..... dropped -30%.... this could be due to dev leaving news or evil NH just opened the floodgates

It bounced back a fraction.

I am now at 24 a day  I was over 60 a day yesterday and it dropped to  13 a day

Once people used any kind of auto switching soft ware  it all  switched to sit and killed it.

This is why I don't care for auto switching software.  It flattens prices on hot coins. look at the chart

It wasnt autoswitching that killed it.  Nicehash was super late to the party.  I have been mining SIGT for 3-4 weeks.  I was making 17$ a day per 1080ti for around one week.  Around a week ago the 30,000th block was mined which increased the difficulty and the reward was also reduced around the same time.

This caused the price of SIGT to go up because it was harder to get which also ment we were able to mine at $5.50 for another week or so.   It has now got to the point where people are able dump it below profitable levels with a small dump so it is risky to mine.  But yes this is  when autoswitching can make it risky to mine but it can also mean you can mine it while its not getting dumped.

Something is wrong with Skien.

http://imgur.com/a/ElcTk

It is detecting alexis1.0.  I have never used that miner before.  And it detecting 7 workers.  While I do technically have 7 cards they have all been detected per rig before as only three.   ALso my hash rate shows as 800 but it should be around 5000.

I tried yiimp seems ok there.

Appears to be fixed after posting this.  Pretty much 24 hours and 8 cards worth of has wasted  ug.

Tested three different miners mining LBC or LBRY coin.

All got around 510 Mh/s  which makes it not that profitable.  Is similar to Zec.  I tested the top three miners on zpool that others are using but I didnt try too hard with intensity settings or anything.

Another dead end or probably misinformation.

The most profitable mining for 1080 ti now is Skunk Nicehash paying minimum $5/day

Where did you find it, i don't see this coin on whattomine.com/coins

nobody read whattomine.com,

just try running ccminer to nicehash pool, check yourself the rates in 5 minutes. thank me later.

5 a day per card?

minimum. People still trading the price on nicehash.com

I read whatomine.com and it is showing me that skunk on Nicehash is just as bad as skunk on Signatum.  I also did your recommendation and checked it on nicehash and it is only giving $3 a day the same as Signatum.  That is with a single 1080ti generatng 55 hash at 85%.  Now I may not know how to check it properly do I just need to login to new.nicehash.com and look at the perday rate?

ALso it took alot longer than 5 mins to give me any meaningful stats.  Skunk on nicehash may have been profitable a few days or weeks ago but it appears to be no more so than signatum on skunk.
