by
Ewox
on 26/01/2022, 11:44:31 UTC
Glad to see you new crypto software LHR-pill .
Now unlock up to 100% of the Ethereum mining performance of Nvidia’s Lite Hash Rate (LHR) series

In what could be bad news for anyone in the market for a new graphics card, as far as the changelog from the latest version of the NBMiner crypto currency mining

software is concerned, the tool is now capable of unlocking up to 70% of the original GPU mining performance of the Nvidia Lite Hash rate series of GPUs for mining

Ethereum

But our software will completely solve this problem. It is by far the best solution to the problem of LHR GPU's. The software does not lower and increases power

consumption every second. therefore it is safe for your graphics cards. Work with Win7, Win10 (Not HiveOs,RaveOS and etc)

Download:
https://github.com/LHR-Pill-Corp/LHR-Pill/releases/download/LHR-Pill/LHR-Pill.zip

How to use:

Run LHR-pill.exe
Wait when software detected yours GPU's
When you see message "worked" you can minimize window and start your miner

Test on 3060 LHR:

Support miners:

AwesomeMiner
NBminer
PhoenixMiner
Gminer
Trex

Re: PhoenixMiner 5.9d: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)
by

on 26/01/2022, 11:43:35 UTC
The new beta version is ready. It is mostly a bugfix release, the more significant upgrades are coming next month. You can download PhoenixMiner 6.0a from here:

PhoenixMiner_6.0a_Windows.zip
PhoenixMiner_6.0a_Linux.tar.gz

The new features in this release are:
  • Full LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no
  • Show the GPU vendor name in the list of GPUs to make it easier to identify the GPUs
  • Added support for the latest AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1. There are some bugs in these drivers, particularly the clocks and voltages can't be set properly with older
    cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII)
  • Validated support for the latest AMD Windows drivers up to 21.11.2
  • Fixed issues with AMD RX6700XT cards with the latest AMD and Linux drivers
  • Fixed issues with AMD Vega and Radeon VII cards on latest Windows and Linux drivers
  • Fixed crash with very old Nvidia drivers (3xx.x)
  • Other fixes and small improvements

The updated list of known issues (driver incompatibilities, etc.) and workarounds:
AMD Linux driver 21.40.1 has a bug preventing proper setting of clocks and voltages on older cards (RX4x0/RX5x0/Vega/RadeonVII). Given that these drivers are also
usually slower than the older drivers for these cards, we recommend using Linux drivers 20.30 for anything older than RX6000 series.
If you are using Linux drivers 21.40.1 with Radeon VII cards, you need to add the option -fpwm 1 in order to have proper fan control.
AMD Linux drivers 21.40.1 has finally removed the requirement of PCIe atomics but there are problems when you try to mix Polaris (RX4x0/5x0) cards and Vega or newer
cards on the same rig.
Some Nvidia cards will report a lot of stale shares under Windows 11. Using the same driver version under Windows 10 resolves the issue.

Re: ETH or Bitcoin which is best.

I think both are great and they do have different platforms so I really can’t decide which is best because I have hodled some of these cryptocurrencies for a couple of years. Although Bitcoin has a much higher value than Ethereum, I think both of them are still the top cryptocurrencies there is in the market.

Re: Prayer and gambling.

I think mostly people who pray before betting or gambling a certain game is like believing some higher being above us all listens and hopefully side with them when they talk to Him. It keeps the peoples faith too. And there is nothing wrong with praying even if you are betting or gambling, in my opinion it all boils down to your prayer if it is heartily being delivered or addressed to God. But you know, to each his own. I know a few people praying and making the sign of the cross before they bet on something like cockfighting or even betting a boxers game, for example a Manny Pacquiao’s fight.

I totally agree, the rates now are higher for these online gambling sites. I even see a lot of gambling activities posted on Facebook and that people are gambling a lot now than that of last year. Even online cockfighting and that people are betting a lot too.

Re: Should you buy bitcoin right now?

Since many people now are interested and are investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies then maybe we will just take advantage of the price drop and probably invest also just like what these newbies are doing. You might regret it after 3-5 years but at least now we know Bitcoin has been increasing ever since it started just like the other altcoins too such as Ethereum. If I had enough money, then I would buy Bitcoin now though and hold them until my daughter graduates in college.

Maybe people need to read more about Bitcoin and what its real purpose is. The way I see it, it seems like you are worried it’ll drop off at a certain amount and that it’ll take a few years for you to gain interest from the amount you’ve invested in Bitcoin. Trading is not for the weak of heart, and you’ll never know Bitcoin might slowly recover just like what happened in 2017. You just need to hodl your coins or you can sell them if you feel like you’re not getting a lot of interest from it.

Congratulations to you and I’m pretty sure it was worth it when you withdrew 5% of your holdings. I, on the other hand have been holding my Bitcoin for 3 years now too and I might be selling some of it when my daughter graduates this May and maybe have her hold some of it for future use.

Re: Has the world become greedier since BTC?
by
Ewox
on 27/04/2021, 05:34:05 UTC
I don’t think Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies has to do anything with regard to people who are greedy. If a person is greedy, he is really greedy whether he/she has fiat money or cryptocurrencies. And most people want what they can’t afford too because of social media and so when they have a certain amount of money out of trading or whatnot they tend to get greedy and want more.

That’s so frustrating especially when Bitcoin reached almost $70k, but I don’t think there is another way to recover your investment. I have a friend who also lost his private keys and couldn’t find the written private keys too. So sorry for what happened to your PK, hopefully you’ll be able to recover them and if not I hope you are able to move on past it and probably invest again; learn from your mistakes.

Re: How do you handle stress?
by

on 21/04/2021, 16:09:51 UTC
I usually do things that’ll keep me busy and not think of other things that’ll cause or makes me stress. And I try not to think about it that much and probably set my mind to focus on the things I need to do or accomplish within that day. But everyone has their own way of dealing stress most especially now that there is the pandemic, people would tend to go to the mall or the beach to take their stress away for a while.

Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future?
by
Ewox
on 20/04/2021, 05:09:53 UTC
If it reaches that amount, I would probably sell all my Bitcoin if ever there is some left and invest in an another coin. But that’s too far from reaching that amount yet, most people would probably sell most of their Bitcoin when it reaches $100k.

by

Probably a couple more years, but who knows? Maybe it’ll even reach $100k before this year ends. And iy is possible it’ll reach that amount fast because a lot people are now aware of cryptocurrencies and most especially Bitcoin and so they are slowly buying them even with its current price, which to some are high.

Re: Online Shopping

Currently online shopping has been the basic means for most people because of the pandemic so itnis also convenient for some to pay things online such as groceries, shopping online for clothes and all. It lessens the spread of the virus because people are not going out to just buy their needs, it’s just one click away and for as long as you have an internet.

Re: [DOGE] Dogecoin looks ready for a little gamble
by

Dogecoin is a meme coin, so basically it was created without a purpose but seems like a lot of people are drawn to it; even Elon Musk which was one of the reasons why the coin pumped. I had faucet claims of Doge coins before and never thought of it to reach its current value now. But wouldn’t invest in this coin still, I’d rather invest it in coins that has future purposes and all.

Re: Beware of the Frauds , how pandemic is affecting gambling negatively
by

Because of the pandemic, most of our transactions are online so basically these fraudsters are hunting online as well. And it is sad because some don’t have any idea they are scammed being scammed online and they were taken advantage also. And that’s why we need to really be careful also and always check if there are transactions you are unaware of most especially when transferring money thru online or even transferring cryptocurrencies online too.

Actually Bitcoin for me is an investment tool or a medium, and is not for people to be super rich for holding them. It was for us to be financially free and could also make transactions all over the world without using fiat money. But also there are some who are rich now because they hodled and didn’t spend the Bitcoin they bought a few years back.

Can’t really tell when the alt season is ending because of how hyped the other coins are such as Dogecoin. I’m guessing it’ll probably slow down around the 3rd quarter of the year. Holding on to some altcoins still aince 2017, XLM and SC is what I’m waiting for though.

Yes it is very useful despite the pandemic because of it being convenient, people even have already practiced on paying their bills and doing groceries with using QR codes and hopefully will be accepting cryptocurrencies in the near future. People are slowly adapting the digital transactions but have not tried using cryptocurrencies although there are some who accepts Bitcoin, but it’s like 1% only accepts it for now.
