We have seen a lot of people joining DeepOnion even 4 years later, in May, the price increased from $0.1 (you probably thought it was dead) to $3 then stabilized at $1.5 until the whole crypto market crashed, but we're still here, and we're over thousands more.
There is no crypto project on earth that you can guarantee to last and succeed, it's part of this business.

Monero is the king of Privacy coins for now as it uses a ring-ct mixing algo that shuffles transactions around and gives every user Privacy by Default. Recently Ciphertrace announced that they are getting close to cracking it after getting paid millions by government (funny how they use your money to take more from us)
Many will say that Monero cannot be cracked but what worries be is they did a hard fork update directly after ciphertrace announced the news. So running scared and defending hard. Shuffling may not work for too much longer and they know it so they come out with many things like bulletproofs etc. to cover a weak core algo.
Pirate is 2 years old and still in its infancy. Pirate Chain uses ZK-Snarks which is a stronger algo cryptographically and also just like Monero protects every transaction you do by default. Their are no methods to trace your transaction unless you consent to a request and manually provide them a viewing key.
Pirate is what ZCASH should have been but due to corporate investors in the ICO they are strong armed into not making it 100% Private and kept what's called Transparent addresses on the Chain but gives you the OPTION to use a Z-Address (shielded private Address) via/ a tiny checkbox. Currently less than 1% of all users on the chain uses it’s privacy feature demonstrating that if its not Private by Default it will not work to protect people.
Pirate Chain only uses Z-Addresses, their are no transparent addresses for people to monitor you. It is 100% Private by Default and has a higher anon-set than Monero which is a score that shows how much privacy a block-tech gives you, if you don't believe me compare for yourself
Please don't be fooled by all these other projects. They are all traceable and flawed in some way in which if you do your research you will find the same as I did.

Important things are next; Deepsend -- protocol for anonymous sends of Onions, is "broken" its just copy paste of first BTC mixers when every mixing has happen in 1 block, so its easy to track, these days BTC mixers had mixing where u can choose time of mixing 1-48 hours , thats is very difficult track transactions through 2 days, but Deepsend is finish in 1 block, and that`s is easy to track, speccially when u track known address, only good thing in Deepsend is that, thats is integrate in wallet and u can mix it in wallet, u dont need use third party mixers, its really nothing breakthrough what world didint saw b4. coin`s like XMR & ARRR had all address shield and that's been better privacy coins , than ONION coz you don't know which addresses have amount, example ; With Onion can easily see address list, and an amount which some address had/have, so is an easy figure that someone doesn't pay gun or illegal porn with 0.0003 ONIONS, in contrary in ARRR & XMR you cannot know which amount addres hold, Ofc that no one will pay pen with 5000 ONIONS, so is easy to guess Deepsend,
