I disagree with you. Every country in the world is lacking in one or more ways but you the people and government mind to know the choice of word they use when they are in difficult times. Do you know there are several opportunities in this bad economy only if people are in the right place at the right time. I don't agree with your topic because every human is either hungry for success or perhaps you mean they are hungry for food?

Same way people are starving in our country is the same way other persons are starving in their country. The country will only make it difficult for you to scale through but once you have scale through it becomes a lot more easier.

The future of e-Sim in Nigeria
by
Exotic5
on 12/03/2025, 10:40:13 UTC
I no no if na old story but just on the 10th of march GLO one of the Nigerians favorite network service introduced what we can an E Sim which means Electronic Sim. This sim can be operated used without inserting any physical card in your device. The idea na say for those wey they like travel but no they like carry multiple phones or sim card can go along with one device that serves multiple e sim inside of it.

Since data cost done increase so much like this GLO say dem go give 5GB data bonus to all customers wey go activate e-SIM and with a data plan of at least N1,500 every month.

As i dey reason i come they believe say soon na e-Sim go they all over Nigeria since GLO done start other network fit start here.

Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL!

I have gotten some nice knowledge concerning bitcoin investment in this thread and am still learning in the process 700 pages of bitcoin knowledge and still counting all thanks to JJG and other reputable fellow in this thread.
If you are a HODLer keep buying and hodling bitcoin if you are still procastinating on when to buy you can buy today if you have your discretionary income already starting buying and HODL you can begin with little amount and gradually increase according to the level of your discretionary using the DCA strategy.

Just buy bitcoin and HODL in summary.
This advice should be taken more seriously by the newbies. Plebs like us are just looking for a sustainable source of income before we start buying our Bitcoin. From what I have read here so far if I start buying Bitcoins at this stage I may have little Bitcoin but I cant keep up with the accumulation. Other newbies like me should not start their investment when they dont have a good source. No matter how desperate we are to start our investment there are things that need to be put in place first.

Re: Would you invest in Bitcoin if it only rose 10% per year from now on?

If the average annual increase is 10% for bitcoin, then it is certainly still an asset that provides good returns compared to bank deposits. If bitcoin is still supported by sound fundamentals and its real use cases are increasing, then 10% is still worth considering instead of burning it on altcoins.

On the other hand, I might cut my investment budget if this pattern is confirmed. I will diversify into several assets that also provide the same return percentage, or it could be lower with low risk too. But anyway, I hope that such a pattern will not really happen to bitcoin.
In the stock exchange market, there are assets that rarely could give 2% to 4% ROI per annum. So for Bitcoin to give such a return then it's a good asset to invest in right now. We shouldn't be expecting 100% or 50% return from Bitcoin every year. That is not how it is designed. From past event it has done a lot more better so if the pattern changes now then its more for the greater good. It will give more opportunities to people like me to be able to afford some fractions of it before it goes higher than this.

Utopia Review

There are several restrictions on what similar apps can do but the Utopia messenger has no restrictions or limits ranging from security, privacy, location, and functionality. As long as the feature is in the app the Utopia ecosystem is working well.

Insight on traditional practices in Nigeria.
by
Exotic5
on 31/03/2024, 17:19:32 UTC
In the Eastern and Southern part of Nigeria, when a woman loses her husband, she is made to mourn for 6 months and wear either a white cloth or black cloth called a mourning cloth. In this period she is restricted and almost monitored and her hair gets shaved.

Even if she gets married after a year of losing her husband, tongues will wag and all manner of things will be said. But on the other hand, some men even get married 6 months after losing their wives and they are not restricted or expected to perform any ritual.  What is your take on this?

Re: Importance of learning a skill before gaining admission into the universIty
by

It is very important to acquire a skill before seeking for admission. It makes life less difficult compared to not having any skill to offer, to generate extra stipends for you.
But sadly, most parents don't see it that way cause they are the ones paying your fees and bills, but not minding you have other expenses life throws at you when you leave home, in a school environment. That, leads students to do crazy and illegal stuff just to meet up and survive...
Many of us learnt this the hard way. And may will still do

For price of goods to reduce in this country, the current supplies needs to be sold out and the new price of goods be reduced from factories first, the price of fuel reduced before our retailers will reduce their prices.
Because price of fuel also affects price of goods due to high cost of transportation.
But most importantly, Nigerians always takes advantages of good situation and bad situation. So it will take awhile to adjust since it might give them losses. Nobody likes to lose.

It is clear that he was assisted by the same people that detained him. It is difficult or almost impossible for someone to escape from the custody of the federal government in a serious case like this.
After the release, they know the masses will need an explanation regarding the matter, so this is the explanation they thought we should hold. This is my thoughts.
This country is finished  Cry

Re: Can divorced couple reunite?? - please share experience
by
Exotic5
on 18/03/2024, 22:42:46 UTC
But I wonder if it is forbidden. I need more idea on this
First, Is not forbidden.

Marriage is based on Understandings, Tolerance, Care and also Adaptation.
If you can't adapt to situations it weakens the marriage and lead it straight to divorce,
If you can't tolerate your partner,it also leads same way. Same goes to Understanding. They all work together, if 1 is lacking and not fixed,it will surely end in divorce in time.

For a couple to reunite, they should be ready and agree to put all these in check, else is nearly impossible.

The price of SOL has been on an upward trend this month, climbing from $54.17 on November 28 to $99.12 on December 22.
At the moment, the coin is trading at $91.6, and its market worth of $38.9 billion positions it in fifth place, just below BNB.
On December 22nd, SOL surpassed BNB in terms of revenues, hitting $41.9 billion, which was more than BNB's $41.8 billion.
Despite this, SOL is still more than 64 percent behind its all-time high of $260.06.
