Ha ha, maybe next you can pull out the log graphs and push the delusion even further.  Bitcoins are down 86% since their peak less than a year ago.  Are you disputing that fact?

Those were both log graphs.

Yes, Bitcoin is down 86% from it's June peak. It's also up 400% from its one year low. Do you dispute that?

Also, nominal yearly inflation in the low single digits like we've seen with the USD is pretty rad.  It's pretty much ideal, actually.  Wage stagnation isn't cool, though, which is the real problem at the moment.

Ah, silly me... nice troll.

Log graphs are pretty misleading, which was my point.  Not trolling at all, though I am laughing at your grasp of Economics.

Sure, 2-3% is probably the ideal inflation level, and we're usually a little higher than that, but around 4% and lower like we've been seeing is pretty damn good.  A low steady rate of inflation encourages investment and lending and is overall good for the economy.

If you explain that a currency that has been tightly controlled by the central bank/federal government since 1913 has lost 95% of its value, and that Bitcoin offers an alternative, then maybe they'll come around.

Then you can be like, "Your currency only lost 95% of its value in a century?  Bitch, please.  Bitcoins have lost 86% of their value in less than a year.  Beat that!"

I'm sorry?

Looks like it's quite significantly up from $0.01.

Why would someone who wants out of bitcoins not just convert them into dollars on an exchange and take the money?  Are you seriously implying that someone would give up a good deal of money on the off chance that not selling them on the open market will somehow keep bitcoins slightly more stable?  Why not just put them on a USB drive or whatever-the-fuck and forget about them for a while if that was the case?  You're a retard.

Is Bruce Wagner going to teach the protesters how to pay for Thai ladyboys with bitcoins, or will that be part of a separate workshop?

He's going to stick to educating them on Bitcoin. Perhaps you'd like to volunteer your own expertise on the subject? Tongue

Awwwwww man, I haven't been burned that badly since the time that one guy told me he was made of rubber, and I was made of glue.

I don't think AJ will get it. As much as he rants against the mainstream, his methods and underlying motives are very much mainstream. He may be against the government but it's only from a place of selfishness and greed. It's his business after all.

I'm not a fan of AJ at all. But come on, you think he was was like, okay, I want to make money talking on the radio, lemme pick a topic that'll make me a lot of money, I know, anti-gov rhetoric, those people are numerous and wealthy.

More like numerous, stupid, and easy to manipulate.

This is hilarious, you're both just talking past each other.  Neither of you are interested in talking to the other person and instead tried to push your own agenda/conspiracy theory.  When he realized you weren't going to play into his narrative he just cut you off, since you were basically just trying to read an ad without paying for a spot.

So yeah, that went just about how I expected it to.

Whatever man, I could totally beat you up.  Let's meet at the park and settle this.  You know the one.

Atlas, could you give us a rundown of all the bitcoin projects you've proposed and where they all stand right now?

I'm still working on the Woolong Device.

Good work on the website - http://www.woolongfinancial.com/
I liked it better when it was hosting gay porn.

At the end remember China is still a communist nation,  though it's making breakthroughs economically ,  it's still politically communist.    And politically they want people to be more in line with their thoughts not ours.

You're like those guys that claim the Nazis were left wing because it was called National Socialism.

It's low today was 3.75 ...  and while it was crashing we printed an additional 7200 coins

let me know when you guys believe it's becoming mindless.

Why are you wasting your time? People are not going to change the rules. Just make a new currency and/or borrow coins.

No I'm not wasting my time,..  I believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel ...  it's just until now till the payoff is cut in half it's going to get dark.   My guesstimate is that it will go under a dollar before it starts creeping back up...   eventually it's possible to see it at over 1500 a coin... but not for a few years...
