Bitstamp API Sandbox, (or any sort of 'test mode')?
by
FFMG
on 07/01/2017, 14:23:18 UTC
Hi,

I am developing my own bot. I am able to connect to Bitstamp, get my balance, get trades and so forth.
But I would like to test placing orders, cancel and so on.

Obviously I don't want to use crypto/fiat to test development.

Is there any sort of sandbox/test mode that would make development possible?

Thanks

Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain

I think after merge mining activated that is normal, with that hash rate you should consider joining merge mining pool you will get up to 5 Sys and some other alt coin.
My last pay out is after 44 hours mining so i switch to merge mining pool and got once a day payout.

Surely that makes mining totally unprofitable. While I agree that the hash rate is minuscule, to not get anything after 12hrs is a bit worrying.

Was there an announcement about merge mining? I mean, what is it, and how does it work?

Thanks

Not sure if this is the right place to discuss syscoin.me

I am using cgminer,

Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://stratum.syscoin.me:3000 -u SXY5UcZCwAZjJnb9gKH7dmCMZrw2Bew5iu -p x --shaders 2048 --intensity 11 --worksize 256 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 1600 --thread-concurrency 8192

but I got zero payout in the last 12 hours, the site tells me that I am hashing away

Valid Shares: 821.35475253
Invalid Shares: 0
HashRate: 179.43 KH

But yet, no payout in 12hrs, what am I doing wrong or is it expected?

Dogecoin fee structure?
by
FFMG
on 19/04/2014, 15:46:19 UTC
Hi,

Does anybody know where I can find an 'official' transfer fee amount for DOGE?
The other day I transfered 100000 to an address and wasn't charged anything but then I was sent D29.0 and they were charged something like D8.00 as a fee.

Does anybody know what the actual fee structure is?
Does it change?

Thanks

Just download the latest binary tarball from sourceforge. It will work out of the box.

lol, I was so obsessed trying to build it from the source I forgot to check if it was in the tarball.

Thanks

Building Bitcoind on Centos, (or getting it from a trusted repo).

Hi,

I am trying to build the bitcoind on Centos 6.5

I can get the code, but it does not build, (Makefile errors).

Does anybody have some step-by-steps I could follow?
Or a trusted location where I can get the latest Daomon?

Thanks

Help with blockchain api_receive pls
by
FFMG
on 06/02/2014, 04:45:24 UTC
Hi,

I am trying to add a payment system to my page using blockchain, (https://blockchain.info/api/api_receive)

But the example they have on github does not work and even after a few tweaks it does not really seem to do the trick.
I am trying it on a local server, and I am reluctant to try it on a live server and/or press any button as there does not really seem to be a 'test' option.
I guess i could test sending from one address to another, but I then have to pay a fee for that.

In any case, am I right in saying that the steps are

1) Call the address "https://blockchain.info/api/receive?method=create&address=$receiving_address&callback=$callback_url"
That will give me another address to ask my potential customer to send me BTC to.
I then tell them to send me 1BTC to that address and hope they click on it.

2) If they pay, and they pay the right amount, I will, eventually, get a response to my callback address to show that all is good.
I will use some of my custom parameters to handle the transaction.
I response *ok* to indicate that I am happy with the transaction.

3) The BTC will be moved from the temporary address to my actual receiving address.

Is the above ok?

My concerns is how this works, I have an address telling the user to pay and hope they come back and they pay the right amount, but it would be better if there was a javascript equivalent where the user remains on my page or is redirected back to a 'thank-you' page while waiting for processing.

The example they have https://github.com/blockchain/receive_payment_php_demo does not work, maybe I am missing some settings, but as I said I am reluctant to just click to send payments.

Does anybody know where I can get a library/class to accept payment? I would like it to look professional for my visitors.

Thanks

Added my info... In transaction filed I added link on my post where you have everything...

EDIT: I'm still open to a compromise(only chips in BTC) at this point but T13hydra doesn't look to be...

I think we are all open to compromise, none of us want to take the litigation route as far as I can tell. But you're right, Steve isn't responding.

Same here.  I would be perfectly satisfied to take a reduced amount.  I don't know why Steve wants to go this route.  It's really disappointing.

I'm happy to get in line behind those that haven't been repaid for chips too.  There is no excuse for not returning chip payments.

+1
All this could easily be resolved if he spoke to us a little.

Litigation, (or debt collection), will probably not resolve much in real financial term, but at least it will prevent Steve from getting away with it and prevent others from abusing BTC.

Hey,

Count me in, I don't seem to be able to edit it, but here are my details.
Basically 48 chips, ฿3.952 still owed, (was not refunded anything).

FFMG   48   0   0      ฿3.952   0   ฿3.952

Let me know how I can help

I have sent countless messages to Steve simply asking for more information.
He has never replied to me, as we all know he does visit this site on a regular basis, so he is obviously ignoring us.

As for legal steps, you can count me in, but I would be happier to hear what a lawyer would have to say regarding our realistic option(s) before we move forward. They might suggest some other avenues, so there would be no harm in just asking a few questions first.
In my country you can see a lawyer for free the first time to get an idea of what you can/cannot do next.

Realistically, all money recovered would probably go toward paying for the lawyer, but I would be happier doing that rather than Steve profiting.

I think, (in a small part), for the future of Bitcoin we also have to prove that this is not a currency where fraudsters can just get away with blatant theft like that.

I only just saw this thread now.

I made a, (smallish), purchase as part of batch II

48      3.952      1EQG1ZdThvkauvm2HBBWMvXTBBJQB5hfjG

I have tried many times to contact T13hydra via this forum, but he has never replied to any of the messages I sent him, (although he has been back many, many times since).
I also tried to contact him via his website but not a single word from him so far.

I trusted him, and I believed him when he said his plans had been sunk by Avalon, I even said I was prepared to wait a little to see how else we could scavenge what had become a bad situation.

But now, I just want my refund, I feel I was ripped off, and my trust/patience was abused, it is just not fair really.

Let me know how I can help, or if there is anything I can do to get my coins back.

Thanks

What is Zefir even trying to say? Less talk more REFUNDS!  Angry

I guess he's trying to say that refund was not requested for the last batch, so it's going to be delivered.

If that's the case I am happy with that, I just wish we knew was was happening with the chips after that.
Even if the chips arrive tomorrow, where will they go, what will they work with?

Has the design been finalised? Are the boards/software working?

I don't want a refund, I am still mining as fast as I can to get some boards for my chips ...

I just want to know, realistically, when could I expect my board, in my hands, (I am batch II).
I Avalon not delivering at all, or are they just very, very late, (maybe someone has a link to the whole Avalon story as I seem to have missed a few posts).

FFMG

dude, you are in batch 2 (non-refundable) with 48 chips. sorry, but your opinion about refund for batch 1 is useless.) (but problem is, that you should still vote in this pool)

dude? Are we at school or something?

Who said my opinion was useless? Truth be told, I could not care less whether you like it or not.

t13hydra do you have any exit option? I mean, if by the time the chips arrive (I'm in the second batch), I just want them to be given/thrown away and don't want the device anymore, will you be able to refund at least anything from the board costs? To put it simple, are there any coins/fiat which haven't been spent yet and can be returned before the batch is put into production?

How many are you trying to sell? And how much are you looking for it?

Will you be able to take fiat to pay for the board?

I have some chips in batch II, (48), but getting coins to pay for the boards and delivery is not that easy.

I can do Paypal/Google and so on...

Hi t13hydra

Not sure if you saw my post, are you able to take fiat to pay for the board?
Of course, I am still trying to get BTC but it would be easier, (for now), if I could send fiat.

Thanks

Hi,

I have 48 chips in this batch.

I would like to order 3 board/power supply etc to go with it. Do I need a coupon or some thing to tie the 2 together?
How do I order the boards and tell you that the chips are from the batch?

Also, do you have the costs for delivering to South Africa?

Thanks
