The new beta version is finally ready. You can download PhoenixMiner 5.7a from here:

PhoenixMiner_5.7a_Windows.zip (GitHub)
PhoenixMiner_5.7a_Linux.tar.gz (GitHub)

The new features in this release are:

  • Added lock core clock
  • The problem with the missing GPU temperatures on Nvidia GPUs is fixed
  • Added native kernels for AMD RX6700 GPUs. These are faster than the generic kernels and produce a lot less stale shares
  • Increase the max supported DAG epoch to 550 (should be enough to about Jan 2023)
  • Full support for setting clocks, fan speeds, voltages, and memory timings of AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards
  • The specific hashrate is now shown in the form of kilo hashes per joule (kH/J). Example: if a GPU has hashrate of 30 MH/s with 100W power usage, the specific hashrate is 300 kH/J
  • Added new command-line parameters -ttj and -ttmem, allowing automatic fan speed control based on GPU hotspot (junction), and memory temperatures respectively. Example: -ttmem 83 will keep the GPU memory temperature at or bellow 83C by increasing the fan speed as necessary. These parameters can be combined with -tt, as well as with each other. These options are supported only on AMD GPUs that report junction and memory temperatures
  • Added new command-line parameters -tmaxj and -tmaxmem, allowing to decrease the GPU usage when the GPU hotspot (junction), or GPU memory temperatures are above the specified thresholds. These options are supported only on AMD GPUs that report junction and memory temperatures
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers 21.3.2, and 21.3.1
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers 20.50.x. Use this drivers only if you have Polaris or older GPUs, or the latest RX6x000 GPUs. WARNING: Vega, Radeon VII, and Navi GPUs won't work with these drivers!
  • Turn off the zero fan feature on AMD cards whenever a fixed fan speed is used (e.g. -tt -40), or when an auto fan with min fan speed is used (e.g. -tt 63 -minfan 35). To disable this feature, add -fanstop 1 command-line parameter
  • When -mcdag 1 is specified under Linux, the miner will not wait for the daggen.sh script to finish before starting to generate the DAGs. Instead it will for a fixed 7 seconds. This allows you to do all the following in the daggen.sh: turn off the overclocking of Nvidia GPUs, sleep for 30-60 seconds to allow time for DAG generation, and then re-apply the overclocking of the Nvidia GPUs
  • Other small improvements and fixes

The support for -ttj, -ttmem, -tmaxj, and -tmaxmem for Nvidia 3090 and 3080 GPUs is not yet ready for release. We hope to have it ready for the final 5.7 release.

For more robust integrity check, you can use our GPG public key, which was verifyed with ETH transaction from our main devfee account as explained here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.msg56755869#msg56755869.

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.7a.

Re: What is your worst dream or nightmare?

Bitcoin falling to $1.

When btc was $7000+ I dream of btc going to 67k and Ethereum reached 17k. I was actually expecting that to happen. Since then, I've been like. Its probably a shit dream and what I'm thinking about.

Sometimes people dream of events that will happen in the future. Don't give up on it  Tongue

My worst dream probably was getting chased by Imhotep (the mummy) from the film "The mummy" and he kept finding me but he was in that mummy fied form.

If you want a extremely cheap vpn but has great service i'd recommend windscribe. You able to do a unlimited usage plan and limit it to 1 or 2 countries and drop the price down to $2 monthly.

Since you're thinking of just using it for poker having 1 country should be alright since you wanna keep that consistancy for where your coming from.

Cutting it down to one artist is kinda hard but if i had to say someone it would probably be Childish Gambino.

But not from his newer music, this likeness is to his older rap music he made from 2010 to 2013/14.

His camp album is so well done for his first album and is probably his best stuff to date.

Do you have a personal coach or do you control youe workouts yourself?
I lose patience when somebody tells me what to do, so for me Beets BLU hrm was the best option, what about you, guys?  Roll Eyes

No personal coach yet, I just do compound workouts (ones that target multiple muscles) and either jog/run or rope skip.

What should someone do in a bad situation?
I think without ignore this problem should be solved.
Or anything else? I will wait for anyone any kind of answer.
I am new member, so please forgive me if anything bad or unusual things in my post.

It really depends on the situation. Sometimes it's good to face the problem and solve it but sometimes it's better to leave it and move on.

But again its so dependant on what the situation is

Just a thought - quantitative easing is increasing, and fiat currencies are heading towards their true value of zero. There also seems to be a shortage of loo paper, and I wondered how long it will take for people to adopt an alternative use for banknotes. Smiley

can't replace it if you don't have any ( ._.)   Huh

Re: Is 2020 the Year of eSports?
by
FaceTehWind
on 08/09/2020, 21:13:56 UTC
We all know eSports is a big deal and it is becoming a bigger deal every year. 2019 saw huge growth in the esports industry, as it grew 3% – surpassing $120.1 billion. Over and above that, mobile eSports has become one of the fastest growing sectors in gaming, and it’s not slowing down.

Here is why eSports is set to get even bigger in 2020: https://4king.com/2020-is-the-year-of-esports/

Do you think 2020 is going to be the year of eSports?

I used to monitor esports closely during the last years.
League of Legends was the pusher of the industry all this time. I see that this video game has lost a lot popularity in 2019 and I wonder how the esports industry keeps growing as no other game has gained those percentages in its community.

Same I used to be a lil addicted to League of Legends and due to that also used to monitor esports scene quite a bit but after a bit I fizzled out a bit. Even now i don't see esports stuff at all or feel a need to watch it.

To me it's kinda boring now (league of legends stuff idk about other games), back then when SKT was destorying everyone it was aight but still a bit boring not gonna lie.

Even though this headset is medium budget I can defenitly recommend it.

- Hyperx Cloud Flight

$140

Pros:
Wireless
Has Red RGB lights
Long battery life (upto 30 hours i think)

Cons: You gotta charge it sometimes

Re: How to lose weight?

How do you lose weight, especially if you’ra hypersensitive person? There may be others out there who have tried taking medications but ended up stopping due to appearance of rashes in the body. What are the other measures for it, apart from exercise?

What do you mean by hypersensitive person?

Well the easiest way without exercising or any meds is simply just eating less food. You will keep it up consistantly you will slowly lose weight but exercise will help you lose weight quicker.
