Re: In the future, will fiat currencies be necessary in the world?
by
Falgorn
on 11/06/2019, 16:25:22 UTC
The usual national currencies of various states will exist as long as these states exist. However, the form of these currencies may vary. Therefore, it is possible that in the very distant future, the paper money of the states may disappear and will be replaced by their other types. However, they can not be replaced by cryptocurrency, because cryptocurrency will never become national money.
At the same time, in the near future, paper money of states can gradually disappear only in the most highly developed countries with a very high level of income of the population.

Re: big banks going against crypto
by

If I keep money in the bank, then the bank will give me the interest. But the bank will give my money as a loan to anyone else without asking me. That does not bitcoin. There are limited withdrawals and deposits in the bank. But there is no bitcoin that I can withdraw as much as I want. And Bitcoin Security is more than the bank. For which I will keep the money in Bitcoin.!!!!!!!

In my opinion, everything is logical. The bank gives you interest on deposits precisely because it uses your money and shares its profit from the work of this money. As for Bitcoin, its price cannot grow all the time. The time will come when it will no longer increase. Banks will always work and pay dividends on deposits.
Large banks will oppose cryptocurrency until it is legalized by the states. After that, they will adapt to the new conditions.

Re: Dead Coins - Coin Dead Before You Knew It
by

on 11/06/2019, 16:07:04 UTC
Recently, information appeared that there are about a thousand dead coins. Probably, this number is too exaggerated, but now there are a lot of such coins and tokens. It should be said that it is not worth while attributing your cryptocurrency to the category of useless and throwing it away if we are absolutely not sure. The development team may have its own different difficulties with the development of their projects. They can earn again after a considerable period of time. Therefore, I prefer while keeping my cryptocurrency in wallets, even if the projects of this cryptocurrency seem to be dead. Time will tell how dead they are.

Re: Bitcoin will be junk/trash after ban in 2 big countries

Bitcoin has never been banned in either India or China. In India, only recently introduced a bill banning the use of cryptocurrency and even criminalize its use. I do not think that this bill will ever become law.
As for China, there have been various restrictions on the use of cryptocurrency since 2017, however, it still runs quite well in the country and I hope that it will continue to go on.

Re: Is 1 Bitcoin equal to half million USD?
by
Falgorn
on 11/06/2019, 15:11:54 UTC
In my opinion, such a comparison makes no sense. Why did you decide to equate the amount of money supply in dollars to the total supply in bitcoins? Why such a comparison can not be made to the euro, yuan, or other currency? And what is the practical meaning of this comparison? There is no relationship between the volume of money supply of any state and the volume of cryptocurrency.

Re: Does it helpful when blockchain integrated to government system?

Almost all states appreciated the advantages of the blockchain technology. I do not even know such a state that would reject it. This technology is good to use where online access needs to safely store and use large databases. So, in my state, blockchain technology is used to create a land cadastre. Anyone for a small fee can look at the characteristics of any land of the country and all the data about it. A listing of such a land plot has the power of an official document.

Re: Bitcoin ,Gold and the global market collapse
by
Falgorn
on 09/06/2019, 15:55:38 UTC
Gold and cryptocurrency are two classes of different assets that can serve as a safe haven for investment during the period of the global economic crisis. It is impossible to say in advance which of these assets will be the best in terms of profit in this period. Gold has good stability, but not a very high percentage of profit. Cryptocurrency can make a big profit, but investing in it is more risky. Therefore, in a period of economic crisis, it is better to invest in both of them, the only question is in choosing the right balance between them.

Re: [2019-06-05] Gold Can’t Compete With Bitcoin As Form of Money
by

on 09/06/2019, 15:41:14 UTC
Each type of means of payment has its advantages and disadvantages. Gold and cryptocurrency are too different from each other and therefore can complement each other, and not compete with each other. Therefore, we can not say that you can choose gold or cryptocurrency. We need to learn how to work with these two financial assets.

Re: [2019-06-06]President of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro: ‘I Do Not Know What Bitcoin Is’
by

on 09/06/2019, 15:36:25 UTC
Well, well, and this can be. Not everyone wants to perceive the new, especially if it is new in the financial sphere, which, as it seems to some, has long been established and will not require improvements. This is an example of ordinary ignorance. Everything will change if the major states will use cryptocurrency en masse.

Re: The Uncomfortable Truth
by

on 03/06/2019, 09:05:09 UTC
Bitcoin was created as an alternative means of payment for the existing payment systems. It should be recognized that as long as it does not fully fulfill its purpose, it is more used as a means of accumulating value. So far, this is explained by the fact that, on the one hand, its holders are still expecting a significant increase in the price of Bitcoin, and on the other, Bitcoin and another cryptocurrency are still slowly legalized by the states and infrastructure is being created for its practical use as a means of payment.

Re: Are ICOs dead?
by
Falgorn
on 03/06/2019, 09:02:18 UTC
ICO projects are not yet dead, but their volumes have decreased tenfold and are still on the verge of survival. These projects now really need regulation and, most likely, regulation by states in order to rid them of so much fraud. Many states are already preparing regulations for regulating the activities of the ICO and, perhaps, soon we will wait for such regulation. Perhaps after that the activity of the ICO will be revived Everything will depend on how effective such regulation will be, since it can also have some negative consequences.

Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable?
by
Falgorn
on 03/06/2019, 08:58:41 UTC
Decentralized Bitcoin can never be stable in its price and we need to get used to it. This is a feature of all decentralized cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin may appear to be stable in price only for a certain time, but then it will be subject to high price volatility all the same.
High price volatility of cryptocurrency is its advantage and disadvantage at the same time.

I'm not sure that the next seven months of this year will be the best months for cryptocurrency. Most likely, this year the price of cryptocurrency, although it will continue to grow, but it will not grow too quickly after such a very long period of a bear market. I think that only next year will be very good for us in terms of increasing the price of cryptocurrency.

by

We can work in such a gray indefinite status, but it cannot develop a cryptocurrency under uncertainty conditions. In order for the infrastructure to use cryptocurrency to develop precisely as a means of payment, it necessarily needs to be legalized by its state. Therefore, the period of time when the cryptocurrency is not yet legalized, but it is not prohibited, will not be long.

Re: Hold ETH or Exchange with LTC
by

on 01/06/2019, 20:49:54 UTC
Bitcoin and ethereum are the leaders of cryptocurrencies and therefore the whole cryptocurrency basically repeats the price movements of these coins, and above all bitcoin. It is enough to have these two coins, which will further serve as an indicator of the profit of all cryptocurrencies. Of course, almost every coin is individual and therefore their price may slightly differ from the bitcoin price trend. Litecoin is also a promising coin for growth and therefore a certain amount of these coins in your wallet will never hurt.

Re: Should I buy bitcoin now?? Or I'm too late??
by
Falgorn
on 01/06/2019, 20:46:28 UTC
I recently saw a similar question on the forum, but he was datiroaan, it seems, 2017 year. It indicated the current price of $ 2,000 and also asked whether to buy Bitcoin, or wait until it drops to 1600 -1700 dollars. Now this question already seems ridiculous. Therefore, to this question, when now the cost of Bitcoin is about $ 8,500. in a few years they will look with a grin when its price will be a five-digit number, or even more.

Re: What is the real value of bitcoin and cryptocurrency
by
Falgorn
on 01/06/2019, 20:42:03 UTC
The real value of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can only be determined at a certain point. In the next instant, their value will be different. Since there can be no fixed price in a decentralized cryptocurrency, it is impossible to determine their value for at least one day. During this day, their price will change many times. This is one of the main features of the cryptocurrency market.

Re: [2019-05-28] John McAfee: Bitcoin Time Traveler Proof BTC Will Hit $1 Million
by

on 30/05/2019, 08:01:04 UTC
Does John McAfee draw his predictions about the price of cryptocurrency from a time traveler? Very interesting. However, what extraordinary events should occur so that by the end of next year Bitcoin will increase in price to one million dollars? So far, I do not see such growth prospects for Bitcoin. In general, Bitcoin, in order to reach a million dollars over the remaining 19 months, must grow by an average of 50,000 dollars each month. This is unreal.

Re: Which Bitcoin Is Not?
by

on 30/05/2019, 07:47:10 UTC
I am not so optimistic about the future achievements of bitcoin. So, I do not think that this year Bitcoin will reach, or even exceed its previous price record of $ 20,000. After such a very long period of a bear market, Bitcoin is unlikely to be immediately ready for new records. We see that Bitcoin is not growing very confidently yet, constantly moving away to correct its course. I think that this will continue.
Also, I don’t think that in two years Bitcoin will reach the price of one hundred thousand dollars. This is hardly realistic. Bitcoin holders will constantly lower the price, even if Bitcoin will quickly grow in value.

Re: How do you feel about Ripple?
by
Falgorn
on 29/05/2019, 08:00:58 UTC
Ripple, as always, is ambiguously evaluated on this forum due to the fact that it is a centralized coin created to serve the banking system. I am okay with the existence of such a coin, although I don’t invest in it. Simply, there are better coins for this, including ethereum and bitcoin. At the same time, I am watching the development of this coin, because it is not like other decentralized coins. This is a different path to the development of cryptocurrency.
