Re: ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER
by

on 28/08/2025, 06:53:13 UTC
My community has experienced an oil spillage, which didn't just destroy water bodies but also the land and air. This has caused health problems, Job losses and other problems that relate to pollution are now the order of the day.

The main issue now is that when these oil companies pay compensation for the damages, corrupt government officials and traditional rulers will syphon a large chunk of the money, and peanuts will be given to the main victims.

We cannot stop these exploration and industrial activities, but they should abide by global environmental safety standards. And when there are incidents of oil spillage, the necessary steps, such as providing an alternate source of water, environmental cleanup and compensation, should be carried out fairly and transparently.

Mourinho is a master strategists so he will definitely employ a strategy that will work for him tonight

Unfortunately for him and lucky for mehis strategies (if any) didn’t materialize, and Keremwho, by the way, came to Benfica from Galatasaray scored the crucial goal that secured Benfica's qualification for the next UCL round. As expected, my bet paid off and gave the boost to my bankroll.

P.S. Fenerbahçe is always unlucky when it comes to Galatasaray. Grin

Congratulations on your win. Fenerbahce performed below my expectations. They had six shots, and none were on target.  Over the years, Mourinho's strategy has become obsolete because he keeps losing important games. Other teams that made it to the prestigious competition are Club Brugge, Copenhagen, and Qarabag..

Fenerbahce has been poor and haven’t been able to find their mojo since last season, this season too they started poorly it wasn’t a surprise for me that they lost, I always knew they would from the way they played in the first leg and how they’ve been in the league. They brought in Talisca and Duran to help En Nes-ri in the attack but this has not yielded the right results for them and Mourinho seems to be failing in his tactics and strategies, I’m starting to doubt if he can be able to pull them back to winning ways and title contenders.
Celtic was the one game that shocked me today aside the Manchester United game.
My analysis might not be correct, but I think Fenerbahçe doesn't deserve to be in the Champions League.  Based on yesterday's performance they might not make it out of the group stage.  In the first half, the Turkish side had no reasonable attacking moves. Benfica had two goals disallowed for a close offside position. It was in the late hours of the second half that the Jose Mourinho side began to make some impact, which produced some goal attempts. I am waiting to hear the Portuguese coach's excuses.

Re: ⚽ EFL Carabao Cup 2024/25 Season

Why the hell mot?
They are a team that Manchester United just can’t beat, lol… many at times when we look at Manchester United, we seem to recall them from their old self, when Ferguson did manage the club. Well, that team is long dead now and every attempt to revive it has failed. They’ve tried several players, manager and even had CR7 return but, it didn’t work. Nothing is working at the club now and I’m not surprised seeing them lose to a team like Grimsby. I had the hunch they could lose, despite the 1.14 odd given to them by bookmakers.
Grimsby Town knew what they came for and pursued it until it was achieved. A small team will have an effective attacking system. They took the defence of Manchester United by surprise and got three goals but one was disallowed.  The Red Devils had to struggle to recover.

But luck was on the side of the fourth-tier club because Onana got his hands on more than three penalties.  But it was not hard enough to make a save. I saw the Grimsby Town players invading the pitch to celebrate with the players after the win. This is a dream come true and they deserve it.

Weakness by what measure?
Unemployment is at full potential and I know many European leaders who would get one limb chopped off to have a weak labour market like yours.
Surely 25 bps are on the cards for September, I think market prices 80% probability for that.
Although it's a slight weakness, it is also significant. Nonfarm payrolls for July rose by only 73,000, below the market estimate of 110,000. The July job reports also came with the revision of May and June reports, which showed that only 19,000 jobs were added in these months, but 291,000 jobs were reported. The unemployment rate moved from 4.1% to 4.2% in July.

Based on this information the probability of the Feds cutting interest rates moved from 40% to 80%.

Re: preparation to start gambling
by

Please help me

I want to start gambling
Give me suggestions, such as which casinos are trustworthy and worth trying.
Which games are suitable for beginners?

And other suggestions.
I have a few questions for the OP
1. Are you up to the gambling age in your country? The legal age for gambling in my country is eighteen years and above.
2. Do you have a source of income, or do you depend on your parents or the government for survival?
3. What is your aim for gambling: profit, entertainment, or both?
4. Are sure you have full control over your emotion?

My advice will be for you to gamble with what you can afford to lose and don't see gambling as a job. Don't allow gambling to affect your finances, family, or work negatively. Stake is a reputable casino that has been offering quality services for a long time.

Re: Could Bitcoin survive if all hardware wallets suddenly stopped working?
by
Fiatless
on 27/08/2025, 20:07:57 UTC
If this were to happen, as crazy as it sounds, it's not going to do anything, as other members have said. Perhaps some dislike those hardware manufacturers that should have been fulfilling their role as a reliable one.

This would just be reputational consequences for the manufacturers. Nothing else.

So the dependency on them for security is baseless ?
A hardware wallet provides enhanced security and makes it difficult for your coins to be stolen by common online threats like hacks and malware attacks. Even when you use these wallets, your funds are saved in the blockchain and not the hardware wallet. Even when such a wallet has issues, users can easily import the wallet into a working one. You don't depend solely on the hardware wallet for security,  you still have a major role to play.

Re: Will the under developed nations come out of its under development?

Development is a good thing to every nation that wants to develop.building of good schools, hospitals, good security network, human capital development, good roads,a better environment to leave and do business, job creation, shunning nepotism, favoritism, free and fair election etc are all ingredients of developed nations . the reverse is the case for under developed countries. So can the under developed countries get it right?
There is no perfect country anywhere.  Almost all the nations of the world face two or more of the problems you have mentioned. We remember when the current president of the US claimed that elections were rigged against him. We have also heard about Russian interference in the US elections.

The difference is that the developed nations' situation is extreme.  Corruption exists among developed nations, but developing nation experiences the highest form of corruption. Developing nations will get it right when transparent and selfless leaders are elected.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)
by
Fiatless
on 27/08/2025, 18:57:17 UTC
The big win for Inter Milan doesn't mean they will win the scudetto this season because this the first match of the season there are so many matches to play but the win shows how prepared they are for the new season the motivation from the win will fuel their energy to do more and with the help of their new manager the team should do better than last season or the manager will have the risk of losing his job.
The Scudetto is still a long way off. It would be foolish to predict the Scudetto winner based on the first match of the season, just one match has been played. Here you can certainly share expectations with your favorite team, but a good first game does not mean that you are going to win the Scudetto. Torino are definitely a good team and there is no room to think of them as weak. A big win against such a team will boost the team's morale and show how prepared a team is.
It is a big win for a team that went through lots of problems last season. It's also a morale booster to the players and coach Cristian Chivu. Although it was Torino's defensive blunders that can be attributed to some of the goals Inter Milan scored but it was indeed a good start. And they also had a clean sheet, which also shows that they are good defensively.

Torino, on the other hand, would have to work on their defense because it lacks coordination. It's just the beginning, so they can still achieve their targets.

Re: Should gambling ads be normalized?
by
Fiatless
on 27/08/2025, 18:24:46 UTC
There's no way it should be normalized when it is going to have some negative implications to the younger people who are also watching the games. These TV channels are paid handsomely for those ads and to see the worse side of it, they display the ads within just a short frame of times simultaneously and you might not even enjoy the game because of how ads continuously interrupts the it. I wouldn't want this to be normalized.
Since children will also be in the stadium,  gambling ads should be regulated. They can decide to have a section where children will sit and will not be exposed to the gambling promotions. With the popularity of online gambling monitoring children is now very difficult.  So we should set some boundaries that will shield the next generation.

I think that at the moment there are no valid reason to cut rates.
And on Friday, when JPow spoke at Jackson Hole, the market reacted abruptly as the move wasn’t priced in. The erratic behaviour of Trump mad the market backpedal a little, this meaning it is all fabricated.
The weakness in the US jobs market might be one of the reasons why rates might be cut in September. Jerome Powell sounded civil and dovish in his recent address in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. There was no emphasis on the negative effects of Trump’s tariffs. It seems political pressure has started to influence the Fed's decisions. I expect at least a 25 basis point cut this September.

Re: Is Trump Literally Acting Like A Dictator?
by

on 26/08/2025, 14:37:14 UTC
Trump is simply acting in ways that the Other US Presidents acted. Former Presidents were allowing the take-down of America. Trump is rebuilding America... MAGA.
Cool
He is destroying the US. He wants to fire Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, a move that threatens the independence of the Federal Reserve. No President has attempted this in the 111-year history of the US top bank. This will undermine the confidence investors have in the US economy and make them move money somewhere else.

Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026

This is the worst stats for a Premier League manager I have witnessed. How bad Manchester United have been this past years, looking at this stats I can agree that Amorim is not as good as persons hype him to be honestly. Any other manager could do better than Amorim with the current squad.
Ruben Amorim was not hyped, he deserved the respect he got. His days in Sporting Lisbon are seen as one of the golden eras of the Portuguese side. We can say that he has not replicated the same result in the English Premier League. The challenging part about this season is that he has spent about  £200 million on Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, and Benjamin Sesko. It's just a fresh season,  things might change.

Re: Money is power and it open doors for you if you are financially discipline
by

on 26/08/2025, 12:55:09 UTC
Money is power and for you to get that power, you need to invest, save money. You don't wake up one day and get that power, it takes a lot of financial discipline to achieve that.so I suggest you save up and buy some bitcoins for the rainy days.
Bitcoin is one thing that will not lose value rather it appreciate in value. Just invest because at old age you will not have the strength to start doing all that you were doing when young.
Some people are fortunate to inherit wealth. While others become suddenly rich through a jackpot and other easy means.  For those who want to build wealth, they need discipline, patience, and hard work. Global rise in inflation has made saving difficult because of an increase in prices of goods and services. It will take discipline to be able to save from salaries. We have to reduce our expenses and seek multiple sources of income for us to save enough to invest in profitable assets like Bitcoin.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26

on 26/08/2025, 12:35:52 UTC
Xabi Alonso will do well in Real Madrid he already have everything a couch will need to perform well. Every couch that went to Real Madrid all did well you might find it difficult at the beginning stage but as time goes they pick up and start winning games and trophies xabi Alonso won't be excluded there are just few teams in the Spanish laliga that will want to challenge Real Madrid for the tittle Barcelona is among, if Real Madrid can play as a team and forget about playing individual football Real Madrid will be unstoppable in laliga and other European competition.
Xabi will succeed but he is facing selection challenges. You cannot keep a player like Vinicius Junior on the bench when he is fit. I am glad the new coach is featuring young players like Rodrygo and Arda Güler but introducing Vinicius in the second half is wrong. We saw his impact immediately when he came in, giving an assist and scoring a goal. The best solution might be letting Rodrygo leave for another club because both players (Vinicius) are too good to be on the bench.

Do you agree with me? Or do you think that bankroll management is a strategy?
Yes I agree with you that bankroll management is not a gambling strategy. The former is the process or act of setting limits on how much you will spend on gambling over a period of time. Another name for it could be budgeting. Strategies are plans or patterns adopted to win games. Different gamblers have different bankrolls based on their financial strength but they can use the same strategy.

Re: Complicated situation regarding inheritance law and crypto
by
Fiatless
on 26/08/2025, 09:13:01 UTC
Oh, this is completely different in my country and in Islamic countries, where the wife receives only 1/8 of the inheritance, and the rest is divided among the children.

Obviously, there are significant differences in inheritance laws depending on the country. Therefore, to avoid problems, it is best (as @Lucius mentioned) for the account owner to appoint a legal heir on Binance, to avoid disputes among the heirs over the deceased's account.
In my country the legally married wife gets everything especially if the children are minors. If the married is not recognised by law, she gets nothing. Extended families might benefit if they are included in the will. Including a next of kin in Binance documentation is important to avoid disagreements. A legal practitioner will give better advice regarding documents that should be presented by the claimant and the tax-related issues.

Re: AI will not give you the opportunity to receive passive income.
by

on 26/08/2025, 08:37:00 UTC
Artificial intelligence can only help you systematize and process information that is in the public domain and most likely has a secondary and auxiliary role. You can object to me that artificial intelligence is now on the path of customization and personalization for a specific user. This is true, but it still doesn't make it more than an auxiliary tool. Most likely, it's just a very advanced search on the Internet or on pre-saved materials from the Internet in a database with advanced query processing functions and advanced data presentation functions.
Artificial intelligence tools help gamblers to gather information faster and more easily. Instead of spending time and resources searching for information from different sources, AI brings it to you without much stress.

Quote
And do you admit the idea that artificial intelligence will bring you money, lol?
AI only gives information that is available on the internet. It doesn't have access to any winning patterns in slots or future results of sports games. So it lacks the ability to make one rich through gambling.

I don't necessarily think that democracy is the problem here in Africa, what I sense is that it is being used as a tool to place their puppet in power that does their bidding, because their are other top nations in the world that are operating with democracy, but are doing just fine, though it's obvious that for a big change to happen here in Africa, a military rule is needed because they are the only ones that can easily oppose the western powers and do what's needs to be done without troubles, why the case of Burkina Faso looks very different is that their leader Ibrahim traoré is very smart and intelligent, so with what he has achieve do far while in power, the french powers knows that their is no way back for them if this continues like this unlike other nations that are being govern by military head.
The problem is Western-style democracy. Africa should have adopted a pattern of democracy that suits their culture and tradition. There is nothing wrong with a life presidency if the ruler is doing well. Another tool of control is the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. These organizations are used to manipulate the financial system of African nations and make it dependent on Western aid. The conditions for loans are arranged to favour Western economies, which use the continent as a place for cheap raw materials. The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is a tool to bully African leaders into doing the bidding of these controlling powers. Very soon, Capt Ibrahim Traoré will be declared wanted by the court for some concocted reasons.

Re: Turkish Super League 2025/26 Season

on 25/08/2025, 15:43:54 UTC
So far in the Turkish league if you want to make comparisons, chances are that you will not find a team with matching strength and form like Galatasaray currently and this makes it very safe to think and say that Galatasaray is like the best team so fat and does look unstoppable in the Turkish league this season.  I do not see the Mourinhos side becoming  a big challenge to Galatasaray except in a situation where they just got lucky els looking at both teams technically Galatasaray is just far ahead and Fernabahce we be reliant on mourinhos strategy and tactics which will not work all the times.
It's too early to claim that Galatasaray dont have any competitor in the Turkish League. They have won all three games earning the maximum nine points. Trabzonspor have also achieved the same feat, winning all three games.

The Yellow-Reds have a solid team that has scored ten goals and conceded none. I wouldn't judge the performance of Fenerbahçe in the Turkish League because they are also focused on qualifying for the Champions League. Jose Mourinho's side is participating in the UCL playoff.
