“Chelsea is from England and PSG is from France” What does that even mean? PSG won the UEFA Champions League trophy this year and also won their league title. Chelsea on the other were busy battling for top 5 finish in the English Premier League so they can get a Champions League spot for the next season. I don’t think Chelsea are a stronger side than PSG, today is just one of those days in football where the impossible happens.
Chelsea's win has taught me a lesson which is never to underate anybody. Even Chelsea fans didn't believe that they could win this match. Winning this game by three goals made this game a big surprise in the competition. The Blues came into the game determined to win. They adopted a massive defence and a massive attack strategy. They didn't give any PSG key players any space to exploit. Congratulations to Chelsea.

Re: Parents who send their kids to public schools are child abusers.

Public schools are absolutely horrendous evil environments for kids. Public schools are fucking violent. Parents that send their kids to public schools need to reconsider their bad decisions in life. THERE IS NO FUCKING EXCUSE!

Regards,

-Joseph Van Name Ph.D.
Public schools are cheaper. In my country, you would have to be rich to send your children to any good private school. Except you want to arrange for homeschooling, which might require either the wife or husband to stop working. Public schools might not be the best, but that's the only option some poor or moderate families have. But the parents have the responsibility of monitoring the topics or curriculum the children are exposed to. They need to redirect these children if the schools are deviating from acceptable beliefs or ideologies.

I don't think Rashford would get any other opportunity in Manchester United, Amorim made it clear when he arrived, though i don't know why he came to such a decision, the attackers in Manchester United are not any better than Rashford. United keep hiring managers who cannot keep some of their pride aside and coach the team, that's why they keep clashing with players, Amorim is going down that same direction, just like his predecessor, Ten Hag, and we saw how that ended for him.
From my observation, Ruben Amorim has started making the same mistake Erik Ten Hag made. It seems he is having problems with some important players. He has decided to let some of them leave the club and the players he is buying are not better than the ones he is sending away. I hope the Portuguese knows what is ahead of him? If he repeats his performance last season and fails to qualify for a European competition, he would definitely be sacked.

Actually in every relationship transparency and sharing of secrets are keys to a strong bound leading to better understanding between the two, but when you have a spouse that's somehow judgemental at almost everything, you will surely be unwilling to reveal certain personal things about yourself to them especially gambling that is being vilified by many as something bad.
If you observe that your partner is judgmental, then you have the responsibility of avoiding what he/she doesn't like. Issues like gambling should have been discussed before any commitments, such as dating or marriage, would commence.

I know women give their partners all the support as gamblers. They even follow their husbands to betting shops to support and encourage them. It will be ideal to marry or date someone compatible with you.

Re: Importance of saving from your salary.

I notice that some of our youths in d country don't no how important it is for someone to save from his or her salary to grow financially in d future. Wen u save from your salary, it give u opportunity to plan your life well by looking for potential investments to invest your money to have something to fall back to wen u lose d job. There are some youths in this our naija local board, that used their savings to buy cryptocurrency and they are doing well both in cryptocurrency and other business in d country, because dey have d knowledge of cryptocurrency to take advantage of their salary.

I brought this topic to encourage newbies and some old members that are working in some companies, to take advantage of their salaries to invest in cryptocurrency and other assets that are profitable.
Your advice is not bad at all. Nobody can predict the future so we need to plan ahead to avoid regret. But the first consideration should be how much an individual is earning. This is because with the rate of inflation in Nigeria,  people can hardly save. Anybody who can survive in Nigeria now needs to be given an award because it's not easy.

But for anyone who has expendable funds, it shouldn't be wasted on pleasure or luxury. Investing in a viable asset such as Bitcoin is sacrosanct to secure a prosperous future.

PSG is a very good team and even though they lost to Botafogo I imagine Chelsea will have studied how Botafogo played very well to make a good plan. At first glance Chelsea doesn't have much of a chance, but this is football, anything can happen, although for me PSG is unstoppable and it's very difficult for them to lose, they are playing wonderfully.
PSG would have also corrected the mistake that made them lose to Botafogo. A close look at the statistics of that game showed that PSG had just two shots on target out of sixteen shots. The French side also dominated in ball possession but the Brazilian side were good defensively.  Chelsea can adopt a defensive approach by crowding the midfield and defence, then relying on the striker for goals.

Re: Why doesn't one multi-billionaire buy a huge share of all bitcoins?
by
Fiatless
on 13/07/2025, 15:01:51 UTC
There are billionaires worth over $100 billion, and even more worth between $10 billion and $100 billion. So why haven't any of them bought most of the bitcoins? They could have done so, for example, in 2020, when the price of bitcoin was $5,000-$8,000. Bitcoin's market cap is now less than $2 trillion, and it used to be even less. Some multi-billionaire could have bought at least 10% of all bitcoins, but why hasn't anyone done so?
Investment is about interest. Only a few billionaires believe that Bitcoin is a worthy investment. Others might not want to invest all they have in Bitcoin,  so they end up diversifying their investment to different areas. A valid answer to this question would have come through research.  Maybe OP can decide to investigate this question.

Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024

In the case of Al-Nassr, a good coach could fix things well especially that they have enough funds to recruit quality players. I said quality players and not top players because names mean nothing nowadays. Whenever I see PSG success in UEFA Conference League and in the other competitions, I say a good strategy and teamwork are the key to success. Al-Nassr lacks seriously these two points.
I assume you mean PSG's success in the UEFA Champions League and currently the FIFA Club World Cup? The club failed to make any impact in Europe even when they had the best players in the world.  Before now, Nasser Al-Khelaifi thought that hiring the biggest or most expensive players in the world would bring success to the French club. But this was not the case and PSG is now successful with average-rated players.

You are right. Most top clubs in the Saudi Professional leagues need the right coaches and dedicated players, and not necessarily big names in football.

Re: man up and stop blaming casinos
by
Fiatless
on 13/07/2025, 03:41:46 UTC
Very correct those that blame casinos for their gambling outcome is somewhat a misplaced priorities, since gambling is an individual thing, and not the casino, forcing you in any ways, I was having an argument with someone a few days ago, he said that crypto casino are using bonuses to trick gambler into playing more than expected, but what I told him is that, despite the available bonuses in various cryptocurrency it still doesn't attract those gamblers who have not made up their mind to gamble more than it expected of them.
Bonuses exist in almost all gambling platforms. So I don't think it is correct to blame crypto casinos for people's indiscipline. Bonuses are like discounts in businesses that are used to promote the service or product. You shouldn't use because of bonuses to gamble more than you can afford to lose. Newbies could be enticed by bonuses, but as you gain more experience, you begin to know that bonuses shouldn't be a yardstick for gambling more.

Re: Content creation

on 13/07/2025, 03:16:23 UTC
It already happened mate, in fact globally! Content creation has become a new trend now among the GenZ and so on. And the amount that can be earned from content creation is huge. From I am from everyone is a content creator. They are literally building homes, buying sports cars, leading expensive luxurious lifestyles, even traveling abroad all with earnings from these. It's nothing new. In fact many people even regret why didn't they started content creating back in the days. The things that we referred to cringes made them millionaire.
Some of these content creators who are living flamboyant lives might be engaged in other activities. I know some of them in my country engaged in illegal activities like fraud and money laundering. Since they are popular and assumed to be rich, fraudsters could easily use them as middlemen to launder funds from criminal activities. My observations don't in any way mean that there are no content creators who make money legally.

They always place Hakimi as the hitman of PSG, I don't know why even when we all know that Dembele is the one who carried the mantle after Mbappe left. Hakimi is a great player for sure but in the scheme of things, Dembele is like the face of PSG. However, it is a little complicated because PSG now play more like a team than allow an individual player outshine others. That is why you see goals coming from different players and not just one or few key players.

Maybe this picture is meant to show us that Hakimi is the one to stop Palmer Smiley Smiley Smiley
Different sports platforms use any player they want as the face of a club. I saw Ousmane Dembélé in one of the finals promotional pictures as the poster boy of the French club.

https://x.com/livescore/status/1943705593723695105

These things don't matter,  we all know that the French player is the most important star currently in the club. But that doesn't mean that only his picture will be used for the advertisement or promotion of their games. Achraf Hakimi also deserves to be the face of the club sometimes.

Musk's contract with DOGE has expired. In other words, his contract with government has expired. So, deport him out of US government, to America, with the loads of other people who are not in government..
Cool
Many countries will be willing to give Elon Musk citizenship if the US attempts to deport him. I guess Canada will want him to relocate most of his business to the country. The US will lose one of the smartest minds and a major employer of labour if Elon leaves. From my observation, Trump is just bluffing, I don't think he is serious.

Re: 11 more countries just joined BRICS this week

BRICS is expanding, adding new partners, speaking of justice and international law, but at the same time refusing to condemn Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Economically, BRICS is trying to build an alternative financial system, free of the Western influence. With how the Trump administration is behaving, that makes sense, but I also think that, in some way, BRICS is a success of Russian propaganda and of authoritarian-leaning countries over democracy-leaning ones.
Still, for something allegedly so big and powerful, it seems to me that BRICS was stillborn. It includes countries that are so different from each other, that there's very little room for statements and decisions they'd all be on board with.
I am in no way supporting Russia's invasion of Ukraine because nobody deserves to die. Each time I see the suffering that innocent citizens have been subjected to because of these wars, I am pained and feel sorry for them. But we would have to balance our position to avoid hypocrisy.  Has NATO ever criticized the genocide in Gaza? Are citizens of Ukraine more human than Palestinians? NATO is simply a puppet of the US and its partners

Re: Advantage of Bitcoin as a business man or woman
by

on 12/07/2025, 19:31:59 UTC
How many days holiday does our local banks take and does the bank stop online banking services during those holidays period? Just the way Bitcoin transactions can be done online,  so as bank transactions can also be conducted via data connections, you don't have to visit a banking center before payment. If you choose to accept Bitcoin in your business, it's just to enhance the business and also stand a chance of benefits from Bitcoin volatility, not really because of bank issues. If you ask me, I would say Fiat is working perfectly fine but should business adopt Bitcoin, yes but at will.
But when you have some transaction failures or other issues, you would have to go to the bank to rectify it. And during holidays or weekends, some banks don't offer services. Accepting Bitcoin in your business could be a means of attracting crypto users to patronise the venture. Fiat banking has some challenges because of government policies, so we can't say banks are working without flaws.

Side news.

Since we are in America you know...
We will have a Halftime Show like in the superbowl.

J Balvin, Doja Cat, Tems will sing if you are interested.

Now to the important stuff, prediction time.

Psg to win 4-0
Great to know that a Nigerian singer, Tems, will be performing in the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup final halftime show. Her name is Temilade Openiyi and she has shown to be one of the biggest artists in the world. These days PSG scores multiple goals against big teams in important games. Your predictions might be based on the current form of the French club. But we shouldn't underestimate Chelsea, and Mother Luck might be on the side of the English side.

Re: Content creation

Content creation has become a very lucrative way to make money and I must say that it's becoming very popular. Even career individuals are also doing contents, but it's just like something I told my friend a long time ago, I said everyone of us can become content creators if we want because we all have a phone, we buy mobile data which is now expensive so it's better to post contents whenever you can and try to get paid from that platform instead of just burning data everytime without getting any benefits
As long as content creation keeps getting lucrative, people will keep ditching conventional jobs for this easy money spinner. It is now rampant to see children leaving education and focusing on how to make quick money. I am not against young people making money from this popular source,  but they should go to school or learn a skill. Technology could change, and the content creation industry might become less lucrative or even obsolete. They should have another profession they can fall back on in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Fiatless, you might be wrong and I assure you that their relationship is not irreparable. Any relationship that is politic is easy to repair because it is based on interest and nothing more. Trump has no problems with Elon's family and vice versa. It is just political misunderstanding and falling out. If they align again politically, everything will fall in place.

I so much knew that the relationship between Trump and Elon will not last. Those two dudes are very much ambitious and no one will agree to sacrifice for the other.
You are right KingsDen. There is a saying that "in politics, there are no permanent enemies or friends, only permanent interests". If Trump decides to allocate more grants to Elon Musk's companies, their relationship might be restored.  Politicians and businessmen are concerned about money and power and they can form any alliance to achieve these.

I also suspected that their partnership would not last because two captains cannot be on a ship. The richest man in the world cannot be loyal to any president.

Never had a Manchester United fan ever supported Chelsea to winning any team they are playing against in any competition even if that team is one of the worst team from Bengali. So it's not surprising to see a lot of Manchester United fans not having hope in Chelsea having any chance against PSG in the CWC finals. What I just wait forward for is 13th July, when the ball bounces we can all seat with a bottle of beer in hand and watch from our respective locations.  Grin
Fans might support any team if the win will be favourable to their club. An example is if Chelsea winning Manchester City will make Manchester United win a trophy, the Red Devil fans will support the Blues. But I will have to confess that United fans have a deep hatred for Chelsea. But we shouldn't be surprised that the English side will put up an outstanding performance that will silence critics. Please, I would love to join you to watch the match but I would prefer a bottle of wine.

It's going to be a change of life style for Messi & his family if they move to SPL. Life's different for him in Inter Miami because his kids & wife moved there. He doesn't want to move them to a new country but Al Ahli's offering a mega contract so it won't be easy to say no.
The US has a lifestyle similar to Europe, so it was easy for Messi and his family to get used to the culture. Saudi Arabia has a difficult or let me say strange lifestyle. It might be difficult for Messi and his family to get used to it.

But Cristiano Ronaldo and his family could enjoy the Saudi society, and Messi might be able to cope. The government had to relax some of its laws to make the Portuguese comfortable. Maybe Messi might change his mind in the future.
