ICO ERC20

A success of the fund rising event does not guarantee that people purchacing tokens will get anything in return. But if token is connected to ShareHolder contract, the predefined percent of the profit (if any) will be diverted to share holders. Automatically.

Features
Share exists independent from the token, its price goes up as profit runs, rewarding fund rising participants

how would be possible a generator?

There are well-tested blocks people use to build their contracts. We put them together and added a form with checkboxes and so on - you can choose the config you want for your ICO. Then you get the Solidity code, ready to be deployed.

Logging into Personal Cabinet.

In your Web Browser, open a Personal Cabinet at ICO Dev. Kit Web site.

We need to log in to an account. To create the account, click "New Account" button. Fill the form for your own login and password.

Return to "Personal Cabinet" and log into a new account you just created. There are two expandable sections (to expand/collapse, click the triangle icon). First allows you to edit the account info, second lists campaigns your account manages.

As some features of the ICO Dev. Kit are related to a block chain, you need to provide an Ethereum address; among other things, it is a way to identify you from our Ethereum contracts (passwords will not work there as block chain is transparent).

Install Metamask plugin for Chrome browser and create an account (wallet) that you are going to use with ICO Dev. Kit services. Enter its address and click "Save Address".

Target Users

With block chain technology gaining increasing public interest, we see an exponential growth of businesses that are potential users of the technology.

This, plus projections for future growth of the blockchain acceptance worldwise, gives us nearly unlimited potential for attracting new users interested in this cutting-edge technology, both individual and corporate clients. What makes ShareHolder technology so attractive?

Simplicity. "Shares" are available for co-owners of a block chain based to participate in "attached" business, hands-free, with no extra efforts required.

Security. Both an "attached" contract and ShareHolder contract are available for review in the block chain. Human factor is completely out of the equation.

Transparency. Users of the ShareHolder Platform will enjoy a wide range of statistical data, designed to help monitoring both "attached" businesses and the ShareHolder's own money flow. As a demo, we brought online (should bwe use the "on-chain term?) a simple Duke of Ether contract accompanied with the Web Interface, charts and tables. Watching your money grow is made as simple as possible: you do not have to run your own Web site for that as we handle it for you.

Predictability. As ShareHolder takes control over "attached" contract's payments, the only restriction to its use is that the contract whould work in block chain, entirely. A simple Dice game. A complex Currency Exchange. It doesn't mater, as soon as the PROFIT of a contract arrives to the contract itself (and not, for example, to the bank account) - it will work. The ShareHolder Platform was designed with this concept in mind - and this single restriction allows your company to GUARANTEE the share holder, that she/he'll get exactly what signed for.

Additionally, as some one purchases the "share" on a "secondary" market (which means buying it on a fair price and not during the fund rising), there is an additional guarantee that the price of a "share" will never go down. The contract itself becomes the warrant of the price stability, ensuring security to both service providers and users.

Becoming a Duke

Select a Country you feel like ruling. Select payment: anything larger than a suggested min. price.

Read instructions above and pay the "I trust you" or "I don't trust you" way. If you are reasonably paranoid, as any Duke should be, use contract address to fing it on etherscan.io and read the contract.

You do this - you become a Duke. To comfort your predecessor, to throw him a bone, so to speak, money you paid will go to him. Keep in mind that the next Duke has to pay MORE, so if some impostor decides to overthrow you, he'll pay dearly, and you will end up with 50% more than you spent... Well, there is always a chance that they will be too scared, so no one will come.

After two month of tyrany (it is your tyrany, so it is a good thing), the price ot throne will begin to go down, 5% a day. It is like you are asking "Ok, are you still afraid to challenge me?!"

And even if an usurper comes and kicks... sorry, asks you away, your name will stay in the blockchain for as long as Ethereum itself exists.

Long live the Duke!

Bounty Campaign Participant's Guide
List of ICOs
All ICOs registered in our system and made "public" by their owners are listed in this list. To see it, navigate to List of ICOs using "ICO Toolkit" section of the left hand menu.

Let's take a look at the columns of the table:

Name: name of a campaign and (when clicked) a URL provided by people running that campaign.

Start/End Dates: Dates when Campaign officially begins and ends. Note that you do not have to wait for a campaign to begin in order to register for it: it is a CAMPAIGN's dates, not dates of an associated bounty campaign..

Description: Usually, contains a summary of what the campaign is about, to see more, click the campaign name.

Approval is an important flag, specifying if a participants need to be "whitelisted" by an owner of a campaign. Some campaigns collect user information (so called KYC, "Know Your Customer"), some check to make sure you are from a particular country and so on. Some don't.

ERC20Interface
Think of an interface as of a reminder: here are functions you have to implement. By deriving our token (below) from ERC20Interface, we make sure that it is compatible with ERC20 standard.

List of Active Campaigns.

An ICO Dev. Kit maintains a list of available ICOs that your visitor can browse, a simple commercial listing tool. As we have added our ICO Campaign (and have at least one day's balance on our account, and a Campaign is marked as "published"), it should be visible in that list.

In the Left Menu, select ICO Toolkit - ICO Toolkit - List of ICOs.

To participate in a bounty (signature, testing and so on) campaigns, the visitor clicks the "Participate" button; it presents the screen with a simple registration form. Let's enter our data (nothing prevents you from promoting your own Campaign).

I understand ok, the points system according to Rank & Post quality..

can you elaborate on how much a point (or collection of points) would be worth in terms of ETH ?

I've been involved in a few signature campaigns, some have been very lucrative, while others
have been very disappointing. Best we get an idea where your campaign sits in the scheme of things.

Hi,
Points are abstract. You as a Campaign owner should decide what they cost.
We have plans to add a Web UI to discribute tokens based on points collected, but right now it is not there.
So the algorithm is:

1. A Campaign owner announces the rules (like 100 points for 1 token)
2. A Campaign owner sets weights (like Sr. Member earns 5 times more than Jr. Member)
3. Participants earn points.
4. When Campaign is over, a Campaign owner distributes tokens according to the stat. our site displays. So far, this part is not automated.

ShareHolder based ICO: Hands-on
Our ICO does not require KYC or any other kind of a whitelisting. It is 100% in-chain, based on a ShareHolder contract. We do not use ERC20, as ShareHolder can do similar job without relying on third party Token Exchanges.

ShareHolder contract acts as an exchange: it can sell shares to clients and it can also buy shares back. As our other contracts send profit to ShareHolder, price of a share will increase. Note that it will happen only after a fund rising is over, for details, see ShareHolder tutorials on this site.

To trade shares, you need to be logged into MetaMask (Chrome's plug in to access Ethereum block chain from a Browser). On a ShareHolder Web Page, enter number of shares you want to purchase and click "Buy". MetaMask will show you the confirmation prompt, and after a few minutes a transaction will go through.

Warning! Please familiarize yourself with the logic of ShareHolder ICO before investing!

Plan of a Campaign.
First of all, we need a plan. What we do, what we ask for, and what do we have to offer in exchange. Generally speaking, there are two types of campaigns: one asking for money in exchange for some future goods and another... well... just asking for money. We are going to use the first model, presenting the visitor with a business to invest in.

As a mater of fact, we just happened to have such a business, which is an ICO Dev. Kit: let's wrap it in an ICO. What we want is to:

Create Token
Run a Crowd Sale, with a reasonable min. target of 10 ether...
... and an unlimited max. tagret - just in case.
Announce a Bounty Campaign and a Signature Campaign
Create a reward system that will bring investors some profit IF our business succeeds.

Our Service: ICO 2.0 Factory
ShareHolder Factory is a smart contract provided by us as a service. Use it to create (deploy) your own ShareHolder contract that your own commercial contracts can use as Profit Management System.

All the Factory does is creating a clone of ShareHolder with your address instead of ours. Then you (your address) becomes the contract's owner, and from that point on you have all the control over the profits flow.

On the following image a ShareHolder Factory creates out ShareHolder contract that manages profits from our demo contract "Duke of Ether". As ShareHolder can manage more than one contract, a "3rd Party" contract is attached to it as well.

"ShareHolder 1", "ShareHolder 2" and "ShareHolder 3" contracts on the picture are someone elses' ShareHolder contracts.

What you need
You have to have Ethereum enabled browser. It can be Geth or Mist running alongside to Browser, or MetaMask plugin. Anything that gives a Browser an access to blockchain. MetaMask is the easiest, but if you want to do it the hard way, read our Very Brief Instructions.

That's a super useful scanner for bounty managers, but your site has awful quality, I don't think you will be able to attract enough users without significant changes in web design.

Well, we compensate for it by offering an ICO Solidity script generator Smiley
We'll most likely redesign the site, though despise the looks, all the functionality works just fine.

Duke of Ether

Somewhere in the endless Ethereum space there is a Throne that is waiting for you.

In order to take the throne and to become a Duke, you have to pay - but do not worry, the money will be returned to you, with some additional bonus. Or not.

See, every next Duke of the Ether Throne pays more than a previous one, and the moment the Throne is taken, the previous Duke gets those money. Think of the golden parashute.

Example: a current Duke (you) paid 1 Ether for the throne. Then an usurper came. He paid more (say, 30% more). And that's it: you are not a Duke anymore, and an impostor sits on the throne! Bad news? Not quite...

See, as he paid 1.3 Ether, you get back 30% more than you paid! Also, which is even more important, your name is written in the list of Dukes, and it will stay there for as long as the Ethereum itself exists!

SAMPLE USE CASES

The ShareHolder smart contract serves as a connection between businesses, developers, and real-world users. Below, we have key use cases listed; please keep in mind that there can be more, as the functionality it provides is generally the same for many different businesses. An approach we take makes possible for smart contracts and blockchain developers, to focus on delivering high quality products without the need to reinvent the wheel.

Dividends
ShareHolder manages profits received from group of attached contracts, distributing money according to number of shares held by beneficiary. Shares can be bought/sold at their current price.

Features:
Being a running sum. of profits, price of a share never goes down. Daily supply of shares is limited, making price manipulations inefficient

ICO Generator Features
Let's walk through the features ICO Generator provides. First of all, some sections of the code are not possible to remove, as they are always required, no mater what features you select.

Safe Math
A small helper class, taking care of arithmetic overflow errors. Let's say you have a balance variable, and it is equal to 10. Then you (accidentally) subtract 20 from it. As Solidity does not have negative numbers, an overflow happens, and now the "balance" holde a REALLY large number. Which can create a disaster, as we are talking about money. SafeMath makes this situation impossible.
