Thats the truth. Ken has horrendous customer service skills. Suggesting that people will be moved to the bottom of the refund list if they threaten to report VMC.

http://www.woodlaw.com/cases/virtual-mining-corporation-and-active-mining-corporation

"Thank you for contacting the Wood Law Firm regarding this case or investigation. We look forward to discussing it with you."

You need to read this book instead of berating your customers.http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0471772720?pc_redir=1399293763&robot_redir=1

Wrong. Internet sales are considered by 'Telephone, indirectly'. You're in violation of codes 435.1, and 435.2 from what I see.

http://www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/cases/1998/04/compl3.htm

It only covers the selling of goods by mail or telephone.

(a) Mail or telephone order sales shall mean sales in which the buyer has ordered merchandise from the seller by mail or telephone, regardless of the method of payment or the method used to solicit the order.

Read it yourself.

I'm also outside the US but I still filed a complaint with the attorney generals office and they sent me an actual letter - not that it did much but add another complaint to the list.
If anything it will galvanise the criminal fraud investigation into VMC and Ken and make it a better case.

I agree. When they have 17 complaints against them for fraud, the attorney general has to notice and do something.

You can also look up Virtual Mining at http://www.consumer.ago.mo.gov/search/complaintSearch.cgi

They have about 17 complaints with the attorney general's office.

Order Reference VOAEWDKKJ -- placed on 2013-11-24 . I send on first by my mistake $9,039.60 and I should 9239.60 (Shipping Cost $200.00) so payment was accepted 3 weeks later. rest is clear.

2014-02-18 08:38:51   Refund
2013-12-13 09:52:13   Payment accepted
2013-11-24 12:39:41   Awaiting bank wire payment
2013-11-24 12:39:41   Pre-Ordered

details:
Fast-Hash One Platinum Edition Bitcoin Mining
Machine - 256 GH/s Expansion Modules : No
256GH/s Expansion Modules, Fast-Hash
Expansion Case : No Expansion Case, Fast-Hash
ONE Platinum 256 GH/s Module :
1.536TH-1,400 Watts

maybe someone do it in some excel or google docs will be nice.
If we do something with big list and big amount we can start group lawsuite or something,
but as u see we're only talking about and no one get any invested money  .
With checks I see what would be a lot of mistakes (from VMC), a lot of errors (spelling or adress from VMC) on check so we can wait to the death.
please we should do something because I thing a lot of us are pissed off (or everybody)
Regards
sorry for my english Smiley

I have been using CGMiner 3.7.2 modified because it supports overclocking gridseeds with the following frequency selections built in: 250, 400, 450, 500, 550, 600, 650, 700, 706, 713, 719, 725, 731, 738, 744, 750, 756, 763, 769, 775, 781, 788, 794, 800, 813, 825, 838, 850, 863, 875, 888, 900, 913, 925, 938, 950, 963, 975, 988, 1000, 1013, 1025, 1038, 1050, 1063, 1075, 1088, 1100, 1113, 1125, 1138, 1150, 1163, 1175, 1188, 1200, 1213, 1225, 1238, 1250, 1263, 1275, 1288, 1300, 1313, 1325, 1338, 1350, 1363, 1375, 1388, 1400.

My question is, can I do this with the BFGminer? I have been running CGMiner with gridseeds for a couple weeks, and haven't had any issues running at 1200Mhz on all the gridseeds, I'm just curious whats different about BFGminer than CGMiner for overclocking gridseeds? Trying to establish the best fit.

Yea, they'd rather delete the message and sweep the problem under the rug.

I already tried telling them how to fix the code.. they don't want to.

Been trying to play your site today... Got this message

http://s29.postimg.org/we1kb6x0j/tmp_IMG_20140325_054754_1196235612.jpg

The coindice script has what I would call an 'error' in it. The way it is written will allow someone to win more than the bank has, and after that happens, people will start getting this message you show.

If interested I can direct you to the code section that needs fixing.

It's amazing how idiots jump right back on Coinex after they fail to disclose what happened, fail to disclose what measures they have taken to prevent it from happening again, and basically screwed everyone over.

I ordered last december.

Asked for a refund 1 day later (after discovering december delivery date wasn't coming)

4 months later and around 100 messages to Kenneth slauther I have yet to get that refund.

I contacted the office of the attourney general in jefferson county MO - got a letter back from them and the are actively pursuing / investigating him.

Do not buy anything from them.

I have also just filed a complaint with the attorney general's office. Wonder how long Mr. Slaughter thinks he can keep this charade going.

Scammed me. Waiting for pre-order since 12-15-2013. Disconnected email accounts so they cant get emails. Called customer service, no answer, no return call. Private messaged Mr. Slaughter asking for a refund before I report VMC. His response was, "Do what you need to do.  Customers reporting us go to the bottom of the list."

Do we have a class action lawsuit open as of yet?

Just want to say a couple things: 1) Nobody will ever insure a crypto coin exchange, thats throwing money away. 2) Coinex was repeatedly warned about their troll chat box and hackers ability to inject code through the chat box and access mysql database, but chose to ignore and continue 3) I've never seen such a bullshit operation such as coinex, people cry about Cryptsy, but Crypsty is always there, unhacked. Everytime I was on coinex, I'd see numerous people bitching about support issues not being resolved, deposits not coming through, transfers taking forever, coins stuck in limbo, etc... Yet people say Cryptsy is slow. Hey, at least that shit works and hasnt been hacked.

I seen one comment a while back in this thread, someone saying 'us adults'... you do realize coinex was run by a couple kids, right? It dont matter if you're adults, the people controlling your money barely have pubes on their nuts. Get a clue.

This has all been a hilarious scenario, all the posts, etc... Thanks for the entertainment! lol

Re: Need help with Block Erupter cubes..

Thanks. Now I seem to be getting disabled proxy:stratum "To enable proxy:stratum, install libevent 2.0.3+", when I do ./configure. After I received that error, I installed libevent-2.0-5, and re-ran ./autogen.sh, then ./configure again, but it still gives me the message that the proxy is disabled.

When you install libmicrohttpd and libevent there are generally instructions printed out on the screen for other steps you need to take afterward. You may need to run ldconfig and / or logout & back in.

Oddly enough, I am able to run the bfgminer with --http-port option, and my cubes connect to it as stratum. High reject rates though (20%), may be the pool.
