I'm used to the old interface. is it possible to change the settings and revert to the old design? Even MEW has a way to use the old design - https://vintage.myetherwallet.com/

Me to. It is prettier than before, but I don't like the new dropdown menu for the tokens.
It was easier to use the old one.

Re: How to Identify Good Airdrops ??

It is a battle these days with airdrops. It's hard to earn money today, but tomorrow that might change.
I'm optimistic, but that's just me.

Re: The biggest problem of altcoins
by

on 12/07/2018, 21:11:35 UTC
Altcoins need to push trough Bitcoin dependency. Price is an issue when the coin is new and small value, that can slow down or stop development.
But serious projects manage to survive and rise.

Re: How to make money from staking?
by

on 11/04/2018, 13:18:30 UTC
You can try to invest in ICO. According to analysis tokens of exchanges give good gains. For example there is lccx.io - looks like promising exchange based in London.  Well developed white paper, experienced team, located in politically stable jurisdiction.

What do you think about Lithuanian ICOs? What your experiences investing into them? I’m following one ICO (welltrado.io) and it’s in progress. They are selling tokens pretty slowly do you think they can reach a hard cap?

Thank you for your answers!

This thread is about staking, not ICOs.

However, I'll tell you this much; 46% of 2017's ICOs failed and other 13% are semi-failed.

(source: https://cryptonews.com/news/46-of-all-icos-in-2017-flopped-13-semi-failed-1292.htm)

I didn't know that failed ICOs percentage is so high. I could expect it, but not so soon.
2017 was the year of expansion and chaos.

I'm aware of scams, but for me, the bigger problem is to filter all of the information that is showing up on a daily basis. I hardly can keep up.
That is actually a good thing for crypto, but I wish that I have four hands and eight hands.

Re: Which bounty campaign is very good now?
by
Fobrins
on 11/04/2018, 12:51:22 UTC
Are you looking for bounty campaigns that pay in BTC or the campaigns that pay in alts? Leaving campaigns like chipmixer and fortunejack aside, I feel the payment of IOST campaign is very good. You can earn up to 150$ a week if you are a Hero/Legendary member and the pay rates for other rank members is also good. It is managed by a very reputable manager - MadZ. I feel it is the best bounty campaign going on right now and the fact that project is also fairly good gives me lot of hope that it would be further extended.
Apart from this, Byteball's signature campaign has 9 empty slots as of today, and Datecoin is going to be extended for another week.
So you do have a lot of choices in hand. Choose the one you like.

150$ sounds very good. What is the average weekly income for signature campaigns?
I think it is a good way to earn money.

Re: I’m out

I had a blood clot on my brain in late January and stroked out.By the time I got out of hospitals rehab a month later I’m seeing 85% losses, with no end in site. I can’t ride this rollercoaster any lower. I’ll be happy to escape with some profits now rather than ending up underwater. Good luck to all.

That would be a bad move for certain. It is scary when you see loses, but why do you think that you will never see gains once more?

Here is a good example for you and other nonbelievers.

http://www.thevintagenews.com/2016/10/01/1898-nikola-tesla-tricked-entire-crowd-believing-control-boat-shouting-commands-fact-invented-radio-control-piloted-boat/
Read the last two sentences...
What Tesla invented in 1898 with his radio-controlled boat was the birth of robotics. His invention was far ahead of its time. The crowd that observed it at the exhibition could not imagine its practical applications.

You don't believe in crypto? Fine...

Check their Bitcointalk page, website, twitter, telegram and always read their whitepaper. You can read comments in Bitcointalk and somebody will share some interesting news or link about a coin that you find attractive for investing. You don't need to read every single post. You would lose your will, just the important stuff. Filter information.

Well, it could be that your 35 years of experience doesn't help here in crypto.
Many guys that I know made millions in a few years and finished with investing. They retired.
That would be a nice thing for me too and I'm on the good path at the moment to do that.
Why I need to break my head about your or anybody's long-term chart thing.
I would like to see Bitcoin still going strong because I like technology and he has a good chance to kill fiat currency.

In my country, there is some impact on the economy. Many guys ‚made money with crypto and they spend more to buy things in my country.
It seems like it does not impact, but as everyone gets into crypto, the country could feel some rise in the economy.

Re: Should I Go To College ???
by
Fobrins
on 28/02/2018, 12:30:40 UTC
Going to college or any school is a question of do you want to learn and know things for your own good and how much you would like to know. So obviously you would like to know how to read and how to write something, calculate basic stuff etc. We learn that in primary school. In high school we learn even more, so you know more things now. If you will go to college you will learn about something even more. So how much knowledge you need? With that knowledge recognition in society coming too to be fair. If you learn just to get a better job or just to have a job at first place and you earned millions in Bitcoins whats the point? Anyway college is always a plus. But if you really and I mean really have a good reason to not go to college then don't. Bill Gates dropped out, but he got better things to do obviously. Do you at least a smaller good reason not to go to colege.

Simple answer: VAT 20% only.

So, for example if the Antminer costs 1000 GBP including shipping costs , you pay 200 GBP to the UK Customs.

Yes, only 20%
Did you find Antminer s9? What is the price?

Re: Why has China declared war on bitcoin and digital currencies?
by
Fobrins
on 28/02/2018, 12:09:45 UTC
China’s government is starting an all-out war against bitcoin and other digital currencies by banning fundraising through initial coin offerings and shutting down all mainland digital currency exchanges?

They have closed down the exchanges some time ago, but it's not set in stone. What I mean by that is, there's a reason for the ban and it's not "the good of the people" or a similar slogan. They are doing it to make all crypto businesses file for a government issued license and that will require them to pay a certain fee. The license will also make sure only certain people are allowed to run an exchange and this will of course be members of the ruling party or their family members.
IMO by this time next year they will announce the plan to tax and regulate exchanges.

It makes sense. Full control  and corruption at its best.
China is harsh with everything else too not just with Bitcoin.

When we look at the price of 500k it sounds enormous. But Bitcoin have surprised us many times or not with his value.
I think it is possible. That would be just 50x from current price or 25 from the highest price of Bitcoin.
