GRUMP is the most under valued coin on the market. If you're smart you'll buy up the cheap coins while it lasts-- cause it's not going to last. The price will be going up. Look at comparable coins..... there's a ton of growth to be had here.

There's no mention of an updated Mac OS wallet on grumpyco.in or this thread-- but the thread started by templar 77 appears to. Can someone advise on the ETA of your Mac release or if it's okay to download the client from templar77's thread.

The problem is that the CORE group of developers/marketers have established a community on IRC channels and they don't pay much attention to this thread.

anyone can tell me why my wallet don't synchronise with the network i have the wallet v1.2
You need to put the "grumpycoin.conf" file on the correct folder. Go to the first post of this thread, copy the content, paste on a software like notepad and save the file on the correct folder for your Operational System:
Linux
$HOME/.grumpycoin/ or /home//.grumpycoin/grumpycoin.conf
Mac
/Users//Library/Application Support/Grumpycoin/grumpycoin.conf
Windows
XP -- C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Grumpycoin\grumpycoin.conf

Why is this extra step needed? Will the clients be updated? Also, why is the grumpcoin.conf file in the client download different from the .conf info on the website?

No one is " in charge." Invisabel is a child, a smart young man no doubt, but not experienced enough to lead this process.
The previous community take over was successful-- but once the price took off and the hash rate soared, Invisbel came back and that community was pushed aside.
We should hijack the marketing. Let's launch a new website focusing on the THE INTERNET PAYMENT SYSTEM and roll out a professional image-- one that's free of goofy memes and atheist innuendo. The devs can follow our lead.
Let's look at the coins that have been successful and apply the same ideas.

of progress when operating on "internet time"; forgetting that people have lives
and obligations outside the narrow focus of these threads and trying to reconcile that
with the community's voracious appetite to see meaningful results on a near continuous basis ..
That said .. and after rereading this entire thread as well as theKing7426's "Community Take Over" thread ..
I feel we've made considerable progress towards reaching a concensus
with regards to the future direction and implementation of TIPS .. up to a point ..

Well articulated. Get rid of the Gdamn hat! I, along with a few other lads took over marketing before Invisbel came back. We were trying to take the TIPS image in that direction. Here's a sample site design that presents TIPS as a real technology/crypto rather than a goofy meme. http://fedora.vanderlang.com/ It's nothing special but in my opinion this is the type of image we need to develop.

We are putting a lot of energy into this effort to get listed on these b-list exchanges. I suggest we rethink our strategy.
For any coin to succeed it needs a few essential ingredients; STRONG IMAGE, UNIQUE PURPOSE and ACTIVE COMMUNITY!
Let's think about what Dogecoin, Bitcoin, Litecoin and others have done RIGHT-- and then apply those successful ideas here.
I think we should all jump in to social media; facebook, twitter, google+, and spread the good word about GRUMP.
If we bring more attention to GRUMP through these marketing efforts, we won't need to worry about any one exchange listing us. Getting listed will take care of its self.

This is an amazing application you've got. Very nice my man! First though, I think you need to reach out to some trusted community members and have them review your application and source code. Before people start using this, they need to know it's legit.

With all due respect to the logo finalists, I would like to suggest something a little more professional that aligns with the other leading crypto's logos. Just having the hat is a little goofy.
I think something in this direction would help fedoracoin stand up nicely next to bitcoin, litecoin, dogecoin etc.

You missed the point bro. So much of the success of a coin is based on public perception. What is this coin worth?! There is a image expectation based on the coins that have performed well and have mass market recognition. Fedoracoin needs a logo that fits in with those coins. Just having a hat is retarded. You don't need to like the design I threw out. Just try not to dwell on the g-damn fedora as the centerpiece of the logo. It looks childish.

I am afraid that awful amounts of fedora are sold dirt cheap which will bring our currency to zero soon.
HA! The mining and dumping routine drove the price down to .00000001 LTC not too long ago. Maybe that will happen again.
Someone was on CoinedUp with orders for 300 LTC worth on TIPS at .00000002 , everyday for a couple weeks.
