Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide?
by
Freshmen
on 12/09/2019, 06:21:58 UTC
Bitcoin, the crypto currency, has become huge in popularity over the recent years.

One of the main features i like about bitcoins is its transactions are anonymous. But that makes me wonder if a time will come when it will be banned worlwide. It has started in many countries.
It is not very difficult to ban Bitcoin worldwide, this is impossible, even many countries prove that Bitcoin does not affect traditional finance.
Presently it has no impact on traditional fiat or banking system because people use it for now, for asset purpose, and the usage as currency is still very low, but wait till the currency usage of it becomes very high, you will see many government trying to see what they can do to stop it which would have been too late by then, and this is why they ought to have accepted it now and then think of a way of regulating it, but because of the money the system is bringing to their country, they would rather just let it be for now.

Look at United states now, there are so many people that are trading and we have highly intelligent trader who would hardly lose their trade even when they go on leveraging, so as they trade, they definitely do change the money to fiat and back to the traditional bank.

Re: First dental clinic in Budapest to accept bitcoin
by

on 12/09/2019, 04:02:59 UTC
funnily enough with the clinic's representative in this topic not a single question was asked about their services  Cheesy
I guess not so many bitcoin dental tourists here
if I were to choose 6000$ in my country or 2500$ abroad , the choice would be obvious
thank god it is way cheaper here , probably beating Hungary in terms of prices too
what is good that more and more small and not so small businesses are starting to accept bitcoins
the process is slow , but I hope to live to see my groceries and a pub across the road accepting bitcoins ...
Funny you, we think deep a lot, I didn’t even actually notice that, now you see why I tell people that many people are here more in the cryptocurrency world because of the financial gain of it and not really because of its services, and this is why we are not really progressing more than this.

Everyone wants to talk about profit, talk about when bitcoin price will rise, talk about how much money they can make, but none of them ever talk of how bitcoin can really be used to solve some of the major financial problem that our banks has put us into, and how we can get more adoption, and this is the main purpose for which the bitcoin was created which there is need for us to embrace the more If we really want the cryptocurrency technology to survive and still exist in future.

Re: TAUCOIN Tech Related Discussion - Q&A

on 13/07/2019, 06:33:31 UTC
Over one month and 2 weeks now, TAU MainNet is up and running with the team busy in focus to make real mobile mining happen in real life, yeah as of now early miners are taking advantage, having nearly 400k wallet accounts. Technical questions based on TAU mobile mining are welcome, read the short article below to understand how you can take part in this AMA like discussion but only based in technical part.

https://medium.com/@zi_90636/taucoin-tech-discussion-q-a-3eeae4c0f42c

Also feel free to drop your question here, it will be picked and all Q&A will be compiled and feedback will be given here, together with in all of TAU's social media platforms, once or twice per month by CEO.

Next step:
° Stabilizing/Optimizing Mobile Mining Wallet
° IPFS native integration
° Server less wallet

Let's discuss TAU tech all together and be part of this new community in Blockchain space.
Is that even possible? Unless maybe it depends on the kind of phone the user is making use of. Based on what I know already, mining with mobile has to do with combining a lot of mobiles and mining through them, even hackers have been doing that… They hack into users phones and then connect them all to mine cryptocurrency. The last time I tried to mine Bitcoin with my phone, the next thing I know the phone heats up and stops operating… luckily I was able to switch it off and restarted the phone. From that day I vowed never to try such a thing again. My phone is an Android with a 2Gb RAM, and 5000 mAh battery.

Lol, maybe after building those legitimate businesses, those that are behind the ponzi scheme might decide that it is time they stop this ponzi thing and focus on the real business… so what do you think is going to happen when they decide to make this kind of decision? A ponzi is still what it is, though there is the possibility that it can run for a long time, but if these business decides that they are no longer going to be part of it, then that means that it is over… unless that community continues to grow. Take for example – Bitcoin. The thing that is holding Bitcoin is the strong community… and since it keeps on growing, it will be difficult for Bitcoin to stop.

Re: ETHEREUM OR BAT ???? which has more potential and worth investing????
by
Freshmen
on 11/07/2019, 11:41:24 UTC
Ethereum has the most potential as a long term investment considering its rate of adoption is far greater than most competing platforms and new developments and updates to this platform will increase its marketshare further and help it to achieve more potential value in the near future
It is even wrong to pair both coin for comparison because they don’t have the same function and project line, and moreover, Ethereum has been in the game for long and they have been able to satisfy all their existing and potential users. Ethereum still therefore remain worthy to be relied on for long term investment, but BAT too is not too much bad of a coin to hold.

In BAT space, they are functioning perfectly well, and they have also been able to develop their platform to the fullest. If I were the op, I would not compare both coin, I would rather plan to invest on the two coins for the future, while whatever question I would ask about the two would be the percentage of what my investment should be in both, which I would say should be 70:30, 70 for Ethereum and 40 for BAT.

You made a good point at the start, and that’s what I always tell people most of the time in this forum. I don’t know why people would jump on a trade while they have no targets at all, how do you expect to gain something or be able to control your feelings during price fluctuations when you’re trading without having a target ? This is trade and there are big risks involved, everyone should know that. If you are trading, know what you can be able to lose and what is your target profit, then once you have reached target, you then have to decide whether you have to continue or just take a break.

honestly, it is getting serious that most people spend over 18 to 19 hours these days on systems and mobile phones watching the market, trading on the move with their mobile. the addiction is getting out of hand. i think i am probably getting into this kind of life.
what could be the possible means of prevention. i need to have my normal life back.
Maybe you should just accept that the business you’re into has a lot of risks in it and be ready to lose your money as well, then you wouldn’t one about checking the price.. Cause I don’t even see anything wrong with using your phone to check crypto prices there is nothing wrong with that dude… or maybe you can get a wallet that has price notification, just like Coinbase wallet so that you can set prices notification and wouldn’t have to be checking prices all the time… rather you will be notified when prices goes above or below your settings.

Friends, the news background on the crypto market has been very active lately, and in a rather positive way, but not every good news is true. How does this affect your investments and strategy on the market? How to protect against fakes?
Who even has the time to be reading news this time around? I do read news but not much, and sometimes there are news you will see and it will be long, what I do is just scroll fast and grab the important points and that's it. The news is not really helpful cause it can't really help the price in any way, not when you already know that anyone can manipulate the price and make it go up at anytime they want, as long as they have the money to handle what it takes in doing that. But news can help you at times, maybe when there are major things about to take places that you don't know about.

Facebook and Libra are focusing on Financial area. Is there any other area that blockchain can be used?? It's hard for me to imagine anything else.
Whenever this question is being asked, you see people saying even the rubbish they know nothing about. I have even seen some people that will come out and say that Blockchain can be used in hospitals apart from finance, lolzzz… sick people. How do you make use of Blockchain in a hospital if not for finance? Do you now make use of Blockchain in treatment? I have also seen those that claims that it can be used for voting since it provides transparency. Blockchain, the way I see it, can’t be good for voting well that is if it’s going to be what imagined… unless it’s going to be something different.

Re: Facebook launching libracoin, what happen will 2020?
by

on 03/07/2019, 11:44:23 UTC
Recently I saw a news about Facebook crypto. Facebook Authorities saying that, they launching a new virtual currency called Libra. I heard libracoin will release in first half 2020. I think, it is very big news for crypto revulation in whole world. Once a time facebook was not support crypto/virtual currency but now they launching their own currency. Many people says Libra project will help crypto globalization and developing bitcoin and other coin centralization. Many people thinking, Libracoin will very popular like as bitcoin.
Nothing is going to happen. If you're thinking that launching libra coin is maybe going to make all cryptocurrencies to skyrocket in prices, then you're think wrong. Nothing at all is going to happen and if you don't know, the Facebook Libra coin is a stable coin, so this shouldn't be a topic. I don't even think I'm going to make use of that Libra coin cause stable coins are not really my thing and I haven't used any one of them for once, not even the USDT that a lot of people do mention in this forum.

I don't really have time to be watching videos on YouTube talking about price predictions and stuffs like that, I just make use of news sites, just open my browser and I would be seeing lots of price predictions news and I go through them quickly to know what's trending. And when I see news about price predictions, I also check other sites to see if they are saying the same thing as well. And as for price correction… I don't think the price would be falling anytime soon, it will keep on moving up till the end of this year.

Wow… you did a heavy job right here, taking the time to research all these coins with this criteria. Well, if anyone is planning to invest in any of these coins, the only one I think is good for investment is Monero… I'm not sure about the others. Dogecoin is good but… it might not really be a good choice for anyone. And by the way, all these criteria doesn't really matter cause having all these doesn't even make coin to get adopted by people. They have all these criterias and not even single person talks about them, except monero and dogecoin are the only coins you will see people mention often, but only few like dogecoin.

I don't really know if yobit.net is a scam or legit site but there are mixed feelings about it coming from people. I do see some people who praise the site and claim that they are very good, but the rate at which I see them being criticized is too much, I have seen a. Lot of complaints to the extent I'm beginning to think they are scam. I don't even make use of their site and I don't even intend to use it at anytime. First, there is no way to tell who they are, cause they have kept every information about themselves secret, not even their location or who they are, so why would I trust such people?

Re: Are there any communists in this forum? Is it compatible with crypto?
by
Freshmen
on 21/06/2019, 08:23:17 UTC
In my opinion crypto maximalism (which implies libertarianism, freedom from state's control of our money) is not compatible with being a communist or even a socialist, as the implementation of these systems requires always some kind of force being applied by the state to "redistribute" wealth, but maybe someone can prove me wrong.

Does that even matter? No matter who you are, you can be making use of cryptocurrency and no one would know that you're using, yep trust me. You can use it without being traced. You can decide to be exchanging through local sellers and that way there wouldn't be a trace of anything related to crypto to your bank, cause whenever you sell to those local buyers every payment is made from their bank account, so the bank will see it as just a regular transaction. So anyone can make use of crypto, despite what they believe and who they are. All that doesn't even matter.

LOL, funny you op what makes you think that the shit posters are still not going to mess this one up, unless you're out to be moderating this topic all the time. As for Gold coming back, that is for sure. Interest for gold has been growing more and more as of recent. But if you don't mind, what do you mean by what you said - Iran and its crypto will be backed by Gold? If Iran has a cryptocurrency, then I know nothing about it. You mind explaining that? If they do have cryptocurrency of their own, what's the name of the crypto and for how long now has it been around and is it centralized?

Nah, this is just a joke, they are looking for traders who would be making use of their sites. I don't even have that kind of time. And why should they even be saying that it is a free entry, are we supposed to pay for it before? That doesn't make any sense and they just failed it… saying that it is a free entry makes them look stupid, cause even bigger exchanges wouldn't charge any money for stuffs like this and they always reward their customers… and the worst of it all is that if you join this competition you're trading with your money and you can still lose. So it's a waste of time.

Re: Bitcoin now below $10,000
by
Freshmen
on 15/11/2018, 07:02:05 UTC
And now bitcoins is below 6,300$ and the price goes down after febuary and now it's already october for holding bitcoin for a long term.

I believe that we are wise enough not to sell Bitcoin now when it is not over 6.5 thousand. Probably, some people will choose to get rid of BTC when it reaches 10K.

Unfortunately, if Bitcoin reaches 10 thousand, the market will lose a lot of investors. Some people do not sell Bitcoins only because they want to return their money. I will stay here and trade further.
There is different sort of traders here. Some will win a lot from bitcoin if the price riches some ten thousand or around. But like you have said, yes, it is quite interesting that some investors lose their game because they wouldn’t be able to sell. Some legends will keep on holding and due to their greed, they wouldn’t get better in future as well. So, make decision on time.

Freshmen
on 08/10/2018, 13:14:22 UTC
The value of Bitcoin is rising again, can we expect a significant jump in Bitcoin value by the end of the year?

Yes we can expect higher prices again after a few months just like what happened last december when the price of bitcoins pump up so high.
I think it is not rising too much as we can see but the good part is it is not going down neither. The price got stuck at this price and if you check the historical price data whenever bitcoin stands still at a price it just goes up and doesn't go down afterwards.

Which means to me that bitcoin is getting hoarded by rich people right now while the poor and scared people are selling, and when they have enough they will start to promote bitcoin once again in all news outlets and the amount of people buying will increase once again and the price will skyrocket and they will get richer. So we are just waiting for that to happen right now.

After May the market keep down and many altcoin loss value until more than 50% more, and i dont know why this is can be happen. Since january untill now all crypto was going down to 70%-90% and normally after this dumped hard the price will be all the times high again.
It is always a cycle and the market will always have that over and over again which is why those who are so particular about getting worked up over a bear market should indeed reconsider it as something they would want for an opportunity to increase what they are holding in the long run.

Bear markets are normal and it is not meant to be a disgusting thing the way some people always portray it just because of their emotions, it is instead a way to take advantage of the market and buying the dips rather than whining. The market will always change trend and as long as people do not have that picture in their head, making good decisions for them will be hard.

Re: Centralized or Decentralized for cryptocurrencies?
by
Freshmen
on 28/09/2018, 17:09:19 UTC
It is clear that people will choose decentralized for cryptocurrencies because of it decentralization and it can not be controlled by anyone or any group.
Yes. Centralization brings about control and over the years, people have been able to find out that this is one part of the puzzle that has made things difficult for the general public themselves. Secondly, this should not be something we should even be debating about, because the idea in the first place was to take out the third party and let people have the freedom to spend and do whatever they want with their funds without having to rely on the government or some bank when you are doing your transactions, this way, third party being removed is always one step ahead for better way of doing things, and that is something I believe no one will ever not want to choose over being controlled.
