I have two hero member accounts to sell.  Both have been in different high quality signature campaigns for several weeks.

More details available on request.

I will accept escrow, or I will go first if it's a known account broker and you will go first in other situations.

Price: 0.1 each or 0.18 for both.  Offers accepted.

Re: Your bitcoins are only as safe as your password
by

I think I found two great videos on youtube on the dos and don'ts of password creation.  A real must watch. I encourage everyone to watch these and then consider if your passwords are really safe.

  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7U-RbOKanYs  Also  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NjQ9b3pgIg

If you don't trust my link the video is called: "Password Cracking - Computerphile" also "Password Choice - Computerphile "

If you know of a better video on password creation plz post it.

Edit: would also like to recommend everyone watch "How NOT to Store Passwords! - Computerphile" and "Security of Data on Disk - Computerphile"

No one gonna share their password to anyone. If you do a mistake like keeping hard password and logging in to the site same like blockchain other wallet site means also your funds will be taken out by hackers. Please make proper log in attempt and keep safe private key and don't share your DAT file of tour wallet this enough to be safe.

Also using 2FA in your online wallet whatever it is where you are storing your bitcoin is also a good idea beside on using private key, and when it comes to professional hackers, there is no such thing as SAFE PASSWORD, I remember the hacking that happened in the blockchain way back 2015, where hundred of millions dollars worth of bitcoin was stolen, correct me if I am wrong.

So, there is no safe password to be honest, all we have to do is to secure our accounts and check it daily to be sure that no one is using it or already know our password.
True, 2FA is a must if you want your Bitcoins to be okay, especially on online wallets which can be compromised at any time.  If you have a password and your login isn't going through a device that you've got near you, your safety is slightly compromised.  Good passwords do help but they're not the magic solution to everything.

The price of Bitcoin will go up over time, but don't trust the predictions alone.  The predictions are mostly made by people with an agenda - either they're excessively optimistic about Bitcoin because they're in on it and want the price to go up, or they want the price to go down for a little while so that they can buy cheap.

Re: Are Bitcoin mixing sevices safe?
by
GalacticEmpire

Be careful in investing on different bitcoin mining sites. There are lots of mining sites before that later turned into SCAM. I was a victim of a popular mining site before. The site lasted for almost 6 years (correct me if I'm wrong) and one day, we cannot visit the site because according to the staffs, it was hacked. Many investors lost their investments on that site.
This isn't about mining sites, it's about mixing sites.

If you put your Bitcoins into a mixing service you can't be sure the coins you get won't be tainted, but it's safer than keeping coins if they're dirty coins.  You're safe in the sense that they won't steal your coins as long as they're already trusted services like BitMixer.io or something.

Re: [2017-03-10] Bitcoin ETF rejected

What you believe about Dash is irrelevant, it doesn't change whether the price of Dash went up (which it did).  Plenty of people claim that Monero or even Ethereum is a scam as well but neither theory really holds much weight.  You come off as obnoxious through these claims though.

Re: To those who says Bitcoin is too expensive for a virtual item
by
GalacticEmpire

Nothing is too expensive for a digital item.  The only thing that matters is the market cap, and the market cap for Bitcoin is obviously much lower than the value of any fiat currency.

What people don't understand is that the value of virtual items is just whatever people give them.  Online fiat spending is still just numbers on a screen, what matters is what it represents.  Fiat currencies aren't always even backed up by gold anymore - in the UK, for example, there are far less gold reserves than before, but this has not automatically resulted in inflation.

So all these polls about 70% favor to ETF gone in the wind, ETF NO , alt coins GO ! was about time..  i bet next time will be better , right ??
I don't think this is just going to make altcoins soar too much - maybe trading them will be better for a little while, but Bitcoin is new enough without everyone investing in altcoins.  That's why Dash won't ever go over $100 or so before a crash.

Re: How do I buy bitcoins?
by
GalacticEmpire
on 10/03/2017, 21:47:38 UTC
I sympathize, I know that  buying Bitcoin is pretty hard for newbies, especially since you picked a bad time (there's a lot of pressure on the Bitcoin network right now so all transactions are pretty difficult).  Companies which let you buy with a debit/credit card are OK if you provide ID and choose a trusted one.  I think that most sites, like Coinify and Coinmama are okay with GBP but I can't 100% vouch for that.

Alternatively, if you're in an urban area you could try a Bitcoin ATM which make it a bit easier for you to transfer the funds to your wallet (you do need a wallet to hold your Bitcoin, like Coinbase or Blockchain).

You could even do a transfer on LocalBitcoins which is more of an open marketplace where you can do transactions with cash (DON'T do PayPal, there's a likely chance of chargeback fraud).

Re: Blacks are the least intelligent race on the Earth
by

This claim is a relatively recent development.

All that really happened is that white people went and invaded America and several other places, committing horrible atrocities to millions of innocent black people, stealing their trade and giving them practically no way to develop.  Then when they shockingly didn't industrialise some white people continued to act as if they are stupid or incapable of doing anything.

I think you feel even worse for the people that dumped the price down to $1050 over at Coinbase yesterday. I like how the price is constantly bouncing back up when certain traders take the price down when unloading coins. What I like even more is that in the same time the price goes up again, coins are also moving into stronger hands.
I think it was pretty obvious that the price wasn't going to stay down there, because speculation about the ETF is thrown about pretty wildly.  I would only sell at that price if it was really close to the ETF and I thought it was too close for the price to go back up.

Re: ETF POLL APPROVAL / REJECTION
by

Yeah, March 11th fell on a Saturday so they had to move it to the working day after it, a Monday.

Obviously I hope it'll be approved, but I think it'll be rejected.  Bitcoin is still very volatile, as it's even shown leading up to the ETF and I'm not sure they'd want to approve it right now with something so unusual unless it was at least a fair bit more established.

Re: Bitcoin Maker is a Scam [PROOF]

I would say that this needs to be in the Scam Accusations board, but to be honest, it's pretty obvious.  I hope most people are intelligent enough not to believe that a program would generate hundreds of dollars from minutes - in fact, if anyone wasn't, I would fear that their IQ is below any recorded level, or at least that they're extremely naive.

To be honest, I'm fairly convinced to just go with whatever the majority of miners are supporting at the time, because this block size debate has been going on for too long and either solution is going to result in Bitcoin being scalable whether we like the exact mechanics or not.

Re: Why God exists in all people mind?
by
GalacticEmpire
on 06/03/2017, 19:00:27 UTC
I think it's because people have a fear of the unknown.  They think of the beginning of the universe and, reasonably, cannot make sense of why this would all of happened - even the Big Bang.  I think in this sense, except with fundamentalism, religion and science are entirely compatible, it's just thinking about exactly why all of the Earth and the rest of the amazing universe have come to existence.
