Thanks to movies like Blade Runner, Terminator, and The Matrix, we’ve been dreading it for decades. Even as the push for productivity makes it feel more like we’re trying to take the robots’ jobs, a lot of us still worry about being replaced by automatons. And it’s not just factory workers. At the recent Davos conference, AI and its impact on the future of work was top of mind for many of the world’s economic leaders. So how can humans prepare and position ourselves for changing roles in the near future? Here are five jobs that are likely to stay in demand and become easier as more workers begin collaborating with robots.

Re: Flat earth

Members of the Flat Earth Society claim to believe the Earth is flat. Walking around on the planet's surface, it looks and feels flat, so they deem all evidence to the contrary, such as satellite photos of Earth as a sphere, to be fabrications of a "round Earth conspiracy" orchestrated by NASA and other government agencies.
The belief that the Earth is flat has been described as the ultimate conspiracy theory. According to the Flat Earth Society's leadership, its ranks have grown by 200 people (mostly Americans and Britons) per year since 2009. Judging by the exhaustive effort flat-earthers have invested in fleshing out the theory on their website, as well as the staunch defenses of their views they offer in media interviews and on Twitter, it would seem that these people genuinely believe the Earth is flat.

North Korea has sent an open letter to a number of parliaments, including Australia's, to announce itself as a fully fledged nuclear power, and say any attempt by the US to destroy it could lead to "horrible nuclear disaster"

Our planet is plagued by environmental problems that deplete natural resources and strain livelihoods, many of which are exacerbated by poor industrial practices. If left unchecked, environmental problems negatively impact businesses both directly, as in supply chain disruptions, and indirectly, as in health hazards that lead to loss of man-hours and efficiency. Following are some common environmental problems that businesses need to address to ensure sustainability and long-term financial viability.

It has seemed to me for some years that the numbers are increasing, and this has been shown to be the case. After years of declining, the suicide rate in our country has been increasing, now at about 125% of the rate of several decades ago.

What kills long distance relationships is the constant underlying uncertainty to everything. “Is this all worth it?” “Does she still feel the same way about me as she did before?” “Is he secretly meeting other girls without me knowing?” “Am I kidding myself with all of this? Maybe we’re horrible for each other and I don’t know it.

We all know the health risks of smoking, but that doesn’t make it any easier to kick the habit whether you’re an occasional teen smoker or a lifetime pack a day smoker, quitting can be really tough. The nicotine in cigarettes offers a quick and reliable way to boost your outlook, relieve stress and unwind. To successfully stop smoking, you’ll need to not only change your behavior and cope with nicotine withdrawal symptoms, but also find healthier ways to manage your moods. With the right game plan, though, you can break the addiction and join the millions of people who’ve kicked the habit for good.

Preparing for death should start before you even receive a terminal diagnosis.  It's important to take some time to think through your goals, make important decisions, and share them with your loved ones.  Completing an advance directive is the best way to ensure your end-of-life wishes are honored.

Playing the occasional video game for fun is typically harmless. It is, after all, just one of many recreational activities you and your friends can enjoy together during your leisure time. Besides social entertainment, some games even come with further benefits as they can build decision-making skills, give education and help the general well-being of a person. Unfortunately, many gamers are tempted to escape reality and become so immersed in their games that they need proper treatment and care to recover from this addiction.

first of all , according to me i think meditation is an art of living ...
long-term meditators have increased amounts of gray matter in the insula and sensory regions, and the auditory and sensory cortex.

Not just that meditation reduces stress, fosters clear thinking and increases our capacity for empathy and compassion

Jews as a group inherit higher verbal and mathematical intelligence with somewhat lower spikes in spatial intelligence than other ethnic groups. One observational basis for inferring that Jews have high intelligence is their prevalence in intellectually demanding fields. While only about 2% of the U.S. population is of full Jewish descent, 27% of United States Nobel prize winners in the 20th century, 25% of Fields Medal winners, 25% of ACM Turing Award winners, and 9 out of the 19 world chess champions. The average IQ score of Jews has been calculated to be 112–115

Re: Why do people hate?
by
GentelMe
on 20/03/2018, 17:10:43 UTC
Hate of a whole race of people, hate of a whole set of people of certain sexual orientations or gender identitie, that kind of hate is projection.  I’m insecure in myself, in my identification with my culture, in my sexual orientation, in my gender so I project hatred onto you because I’m not real sure that if I don’t, I won’t hate myself.

So, here’s the thing about hate of difference:  It says everything about the hater, and nothing about the hated.

Bitcoin’s fans claim it is a technology and not something that can be valued like a stock, which probably echoes conversations in Amsterdam coffee houses in the 1600s to rationalize paying any price for tulip bulbs
