[Premium domain] GHASH.EU for sale!
by
GigaPixels
on 14/01/2015, 10:17:57 UTC
The premium domain name Ghash.eu is for sale.

I added the text "GigaPixels @ Bitcointalk" at the root of the domain to verify I actually own this domain.

I accept payments in Bitcoin, Litecoin or European bank transfer (SEPA).

PRICE: I accept any offer, start bidding! Smiley

TIME: The sale will end within ~24 hours (Thursday, 15th of January at 11AM CET)

I perfectly understand many of you are tired of altcoins; there is one created every day and what is their purpose? Right, to pump it, sell it, done. Next.

While I'm in a hurry right now, I could give you literally a list of all the good things about Litecoin; things this 'altcoin' does different than those shitcoins.

Anyway, a ton of these shitcoins are based on Litecoin. It must do something right, don't you think?

It's likely they have their own system build-in to determine this.

I am mining with one Gridseed @ 377Kh/s average over the last 2 days as reported by CGminer 3.7.2 (modified).

I often get this message on CGminer: "Rejected untracked stratum share from pool 0"

My location is The Netherlands, so I mine at the EU server which is based on Amsterdam. (ping to IP 188.226.191.138 gives 44ms)

However, the report page indicates: 120.7 kH/s 24-hour Average

Is this value wrong due to the relatively low hashing rate, or does something goes wrong at my side?

I can PM my Bitcoin address if verification is needed.

Thanks for your time.

What mining software do you use?

What error do you get? I am mining fine here on our ORCA pool from three different locations (CPU mining to test).

http://i.imgur.com/daXu44d.png

Instead of the previous cgminer config, try:

Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://85.25.209.87:7535 -u 4RccNbHNouiuCvebS4cC4cajnKnKtFaDpC -p x

Replace 4RccNbHNouiuCvebS4cC4cajnKnKtFaDpC with your own ORCA address. It's possible you have to add other parameters to optimize performance, but this should work.

Or, edit cgminer.conf

Code:
{
"pools" : [
{
"url" : "stratum+tcp://85.25.209.87:7535",
"user" : "4RccNbHNouiuCvebS4cC4cajnKnKtFaDpC",
"pass" : "x"
}
],

"scrypt" : true,

"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
}

Otherwise, try GUIminer-scrypt: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=150331.msg1597536#msg1597536

Fill in these;
  • host: 85.25.209.87
  • port: 7535
  • username: yourORCAaddress
  • password; x

Mining pool has been set up.

http://85.25.209.87:7535

Use your ORCA address as username and any password will work.

Example config cgminer (GPU Mining)

Code:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://85.25.209.87:7535 -u 4RccNbHNouiuCvebS4cC4cajnKnKtFaDpC -p x

Example config minerd (CPU Mining)

Code:
minerd.exe -o stratum+tcp://85.25.209.87:7535 -u 4RccNbHNouiuCvebS4cC4cajnKnKtFaDpC -p 1 -t 4

2.) Is there anyway to have it run in the background, I have a million spreadsheets open at once and I keep closing the minimized window by accident.

shell "C:\Users\YOU\yourconfig.bat", vbHide

Step by step for dummies.  Thought based on some reading probably not a good idea to mine on my latptop anyway.  Still handy for the couple desktops we have in the office.

Here you can: http://thomasvanhoutte.be/blog/2013/12/04/hide-cpugpu-miner-window/

Also, there is an explanation on how to run your miner (in the background) on system start-up.

Enjoy!

This optimized version doubled my mining speed. Even if this only makes a few coins, it's still pretty amazing.
Thanks, great support and well-programmed. Keep it up!  Smiley

The front-end of the site could use an upgrade, though, in my opinion.
