Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin?

Bitcoin is great and all, but one should never put all their eggs in one basket, so to speak. Diversity is the first vanguard of portfolio security, and failure to diversify in such volatile/exotic markets could spell doom during a generally bearish period. In the greater interest of diversity, always consider assets outside of the cryptosphere. Although blochchain technologies are the future, there is still the past and present to consider  Wink

Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges?
by

Im trading on different exchanges because some coins are not listed on that exchange and you can also take advantage buying on smaller exchange then wait to be listed on bigger exchange
I think all traders need to use different exchanges to know where they can earn more and not all coins fits in one exchange. We need to see the pros of different exchanges as well their cons so we can stay away from it.

This is certainly the case. Not only are all assets not available on all exchanges, some assets trade at much better prices on specific exchanges even if they are listed in a variety of places. Utilizing one exchange only exposes a user to some definite risks: centralized assets and the attendant problems (security), possibly a lack of diversified holdings, and vulnerability to platform malfunction/ downtime.

Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money?

Simply observe historical markets. I don't know what rate of return you are expecting, but you would have experienced double digit gains all years (this is a serious understatement) if you had simply purchased Bitcoin or Ethereum, and stuck it in a wallet someone out of reach. This may not always be the case, as regulatory efforts ramp up and affect sentiment in the markets.

Re: How I can make money with cryptocurrencies?

Simply invest! Empirically, the most trouble free and easiest way to generate value with crypto is to simply hold. A study was conducted a few years ago, that showed given the average gains and losses of the typical investor, one would do better to take longer positions of at least a year. Looking back as we speak, this is certainly the case  Grin

This suite of technologies is still cutting edge. Adoption at this point is still "early".

Bitcoin! The progenitor and king. But Ethereum, given the amount of funding and volume that has come from the ICO trend, has great promise, and is seemingly the most developed blockchain. As Lightning draws Bitcoin users back, we will see a surge in adoption, as Bitcoin is the most recognizable of major cryptos to the newcomer.

Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable?

Stability is one of the main reasons that people WOULD use Bitcoin. Stability would greatly assist adoption. At the moment, the majority of bitcoin transactions are in the interest of speculation, not purchase for the use of an alternative currency. When both liquidity increases and volatility decreases as a result, we will see much faster and wider adoption.

Re: No need to panic sell after the Ban by RBI
by

The recent crash in bitcoins has been due to the ban on Bitcoins by the RBI that is the authority controlling all the banks that run in India.

One should know that they have stopped us from converting cryptos into fiat.

Zebpay and other bitcoins wallets are fighting this decision already.

Due to the personal threat thatRBI seemed to face through bitcoins they made a decision that is right now affecting all the people who are involved in bitcoins already and trust me the number is not something that could easily be neglected.

With so much money invested by the individuals in this sector one needs to know that instead of encashing out holding and signing a petition for this cause will do more good.

Just running could prove detrimental for bitcoins .
One should remember the fact that it's Not China ! They are not living in a dictator's rule and for the sake of bitcoins they need to stand up against this decision.

The markets seem hardly affected by the news. We imagine that many people sold, anticipating a drop in the price of majors. But the decline only really reflected in Indian markets, and was seemingly temporary.

Re: How low will this bear trend go?

many people that says bitcoin prices could go down into some point in $4500~$5000 no one knows until when this beat trend will still keep occur. just need to hold your coin tightly or take risk to sell now and buy when lower.

But this is indeed a risk Wink If one has held coins down to this price level, it would be wise to wait for the reversal, instead of trying to guess the short. There is seemingly way more probability of the coin going up, than it is for it to retest and break early 2017 price levels. But we shall see!

Re: Will BTC and large coins recover?

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-breaks-7000-to-50-day-low-amid-market-sell-off/

We know that cryptocurrencies are without a doubt changing hands right now, but is it even wise to invest into the crypto economy anymore with the top 20 tokens all showing a 10 to 20 percent sell-off within the last 24 hours? Is this the end, are the days of bull runs over in Crypto? Ever since February we've been struggling to break $11kish and now it's back down, what are we to make of this?

I am still believe that market will recover again. We know that early 2017, market cap below 100billion dollars and right now market cap is more than 250billion dollars. Peak market cap reach $800billion dollar and I am still believe that market cap will reaching highest again in the future

This is very true. Given the amount of gains in 2017, it would take a retraction more severe that this to truly threaten the future of crypto. The current market uncertainty reflects the uncertainty in regulatory efforts, as well as the uncertainty of traditional markets.

Re: Hardware Wallet
by

Where can I buy hardware wallet like trezor, and the other? is it safe to keep my bitcoin there? What happens if there is damage to the hardware?

Salutations! We have personally had experience with the Trezor and KeepKey hardware wallets. Both are very secure, and integrated into the various sites that are commonly used while managing a cryptocurrency portfolio. Trezor is the most ubiquitous of the hardware wallets, you will find the most functionality specifically with this particular wallet. And if the device is ever damaged beyond use, you can access your accounts by using your key phrase (generated during wallet setup) with a new device, or directly in many wallet portals (MEW for example).

This is correct. Depending on the platforms you are using, the Trezor will be the most useful hardware wallet you can use. KeepKey is well featured, to be sure, but it is not as integrated with platforms as the Trezor. This is especially true if you are using MEW, and EtherDelta.
