Haha oh yea...LMAO. Sorry and thanks for that!

Hmm..

I paid 501.114879336 USD and it says I get 9.64506 POWR (Amount Crypto)

501.114879336 USD / 9.64506 POWR = $51.96

What do you guys think?

Questions to the BitBean devs. With all the talk about scaling being discussed..how is Bitbean looking to find it's niche and show what it can bring to the table?

I am here because I threw some change at BITB aroung high 300's then missed correction. Figured to buy some more now and stake while this next set up comes. onwards to 1000 Sats!!

I very strongly believe BitBean will stabilize well above the 10,000 sat mark, prior to the year 2020

MARK MY WORDS, FOLKS...

I surely hope so : )

I'm very interested in your thoughts on the ISX exchange draining the Bittrex action? ISX exchange does ISX->AUR and Bittrex does BTC -> AUR how do you envision such a thing occurring? Also, in a globalized market how does the team expect to have AUR only for Iceland? How will "foreign" AUR be "imported" just for the sake of Iceland?

Getting close to 50% of the daily volume on ISX. http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/auroracoin/#markets

It's picking up nicely.

I think it will dwarf the volume on bittrex soon.

Don't know. There is place to grow in each market. Ultimately, AUR will flow to iceland, but way to go. In the next months, there will be some challenges, and already great solutions being discussed. One of these challenges is how to get AUR back to iceland ?   There is already a lot of AUR in iceland, but we dont know yet how many will actually hit the market. So foreign aur will somewhat need to be ''imported''.

From then, i guess ISX will drain Bittrex action / lets work toward this !

Wanted to thank you LTEX for answering all my questions! Thanks for the information! Looking forward to the exiciting times that lie ahead. The Hive Aurora webwallet is AWESOME btw!  Grin

Thanks for that info LTEX.

Some other questions I'm hoping you can help answer as well"

Do you guys support/recommend this online Auroracoin HIVE wallet?  (https://webwallet.auroracoin.is/)

Now that there is going to be a AUR-ISK exchange what will be the plan for the Icelanders from there? As an example: If i'm a Icelander and I can now buy AUR with my ISK what would I do from there once I have some AUR?

What stood out about Digibyte's code that the AUR team decided to go with that instead?

Were there any consideration in using a 'proof of stake' protocol?

Well, I developed the webwallet port myself and it's officially endorsed by the Aurarad Foundation, so I guess yeah, I support it ;-)

The best part about having the exchange is that Icelanders now finally are able to legally obtain a crypto currency. Of course some might use it to exchange the AUR for BTC or $ later, but we think most are going to see the potential it has as an alternative way to transfer value without the ridiculous inflation and interest rates ISK has.

We chose Digibyte mainly because it makes most sense to have a multi algo that secures the blockchain and also helps fair distribution by making it possible to mine on many (non ASIC) devices. We also believe the foundation under the Digibyte team is solid so we can cooperate on future developments.

We discussed POS of course, but decided to stay with this multi algo POW for many reasons, one of the most important ones being fair distribution and decentralization.

Please educate me on the matter as well as i'd like to know how the group intends to get folks from Iceland on-board in using Auroracoin? (asking from the point of view of just trying to better understand myself) What's the Pirate's party take on Auroracoin?

We have a strong presence in Iceland now. Next to the official foundation in Reykjavik, we now have a large group of people, including influential entrepreneurs working on the re-launch of this project.

One of the biggest flaws of the initial startup of this project was the lack of a true AUR-ISK exchange. We have that operational now and it will go live in the first week of May. This was our most essential target next to a solid and functional blockchain, which we accomplished by porting the Digibyte (based on Myriad) code. We also have been working on a platform to make it ridiculously easy and safe for merchants to start accepting AUR as means of payment.

And to answer your question relating the Pirate Party, our foundation has had meetings with their members before. They embrace the possibilities of crypto currencies and are very interested in our project. We do however refrain from any political stance.

I work at a large Dutch financial company on the South axis of Amsterdam and promoting this kind of technology requires a bit more than bus stop posters and press releases. One might even say that the team that I am a part of is heavily invested from a know-how stand point in blockchain as it is, just hadn't noticed this project before. One of the perks of being a member is knowing quite a bit about the industry as a whole, promoting said financial products isn't easy. How is this project doing amongst early adopters/tech-fiends/cryptocurrency world in general? It's going to be quite hard to convince regular folks of the 'Why' and to put their trust into something like Auroracoin. Wish you all the best though, hope it works out!

Dank je!

I do understand where you come from. I know the Dutch market quite well and also a campaign like this would not cut wood in the Netherlands. This is however the main reason we are supporting Auroracoin as a project in Iceland. If you would read a bit about it's history you will understand that convincing 330.000 people in a land that has been damaged over and over by financial crises is much easier than 17 million people that live like Eloys in wealthy environment.

If you like to know more, I'm more than happy to educate you in Dutch on the possibilities of this project.

Re: Bitcoin & Altcoin tracker Apps for iOS
by

For IOS, there's Cryptonator (best one so far in terms of interface and usability), Coinbits (You can find all the Altcoin as well however not user friendly as far as finding the different alts are concerned also you need to pay to remove ads) and BraveNewCoin (it's like the coinmarketcap.com for IOS) to mention a few... A really good one that's for Andriod is Bitcoin Checker where you could find just about all the Alt coins and you could setup customs alerts by percentage. Hope this helps and looking forward to seeing more bitcoin/altcoin tracking apps..

Interesting you say this because as a newbie I brought SDC this week and today I noticed on Bittrex the wallet was disabled for a bit. Also, still having issue with the wallet file.. ; /

it looks like there is a problem with blockexplorer

http://explorer.shadow.cash - is not working

http://shadow.blockexplorer.cc/chain/ShadowCash - it always shows block 261965 is the last one

wallet shows latest block as 262363

when i transfer sdc from bittrex, it doesnt show up in my wallet

am i the only one who noticed this?

Importing the boot file did not work. Also, just as the person that was having issue with the link you provided, I have Windows 8 64-bit as well. Is there anything else that I can try? Does anybody else have the SDC wallet 1.3.06 working on Windows 8 64-bit?

Thanks SebSebastian - will try it now and let you know if it works.

Any reason why I would be seeing 0 active networks? This is the same result on two computers that I have.

Using the bootstrap often helps, the instructions are in this post, hopefully that sorts it out.

Ah! I misunderstood the previous comments of "first Cloak release" to mean during Alty's run at this coin (also forget when Alty first initial came out with Cloakcoin there was an issue with the first release and this was more than likely what was being referred to)  and for some reason thought you had issued out "new" Cloakcoins at some point with you taking over the project. Thank you for the prompt response and clarification.

That link at coin-swap is dead.

Are coins from the first Cloak release still valid?

only coins from this release are valid!

Hi, thanks for replying.

Why have you called it Cloakcoin if the original Cloakcoins are not valid.  It must be a completely new and completely different coin?

you welcome!

this coin was created original by Alty. I overtook this project from him.... i cant tell you why he called it same.

What release? When was there ever a "release" of new Cloakcoins? When was this communicated? Please elaborate in details c4shm3n.
