Hello Naija people, I’m new to crypto and I’m looking to buy a variety of coins to start my investment portfolio.
What is the best multi coin wallet that supports self custody and I can use to hold memecoins as well as btc and ethereum?
How bothered should I be about privacy too? I hear it’s a top consideration in the crypto space
Op you're welcome to the forum, If I were you I wouldn't be asking for wallets to hold altcoins, I'll focus more on bitcoin since this is a new experience. Amongst several altcoins, bitcoin being the first coin ever has do many advantages over altcoins, and that includes reputation and the possibility of breaking more ATH irrespective of how old it is compared to several altcoins that lasted for only some few hours.

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but it crossed my mind so I’ll just throw it out here…
Have you ever been in a situation where you took a big loss. clearly because of your own mistake but instead of owning it, you ended up blaming the casino? Maybe made some excuses just to avoid feeling stupid?
This kind of mindset can mess with us. If we keep shifting the blame, we never really reflect on what we did wrong. We stay stuck, and the same cycle just repeats. So now I’m wondering anyone here willing to admit they’ve done that? Blamed the casino or the system for their loss, though deep down you knew it was on you?
If yes, I’d like to hear your story. How did you justify it to yourself at the time?
Those who truly aren't mature blame casinos for their losses. Well it's really easy to understand, the casinos are just bunch of running code, and we barely hear of cases where casino spend your money for you. Every action taken by the casino is executed by a human being, so if you lost your money, you actually did it yourself, the only connection with the casino is that they were the channel you used in exhausting your bank roll, casinos should be immune to accusations like this because they did nothing.
Some of us have a hard time stopping when we’re already losing. We tend to chase losses and end up burning through whatever balance is left in our account.
One of the reasons I believe things like this happen is because, you haven't really lost so much money to the extent that you regretted ever knowing gamble in the first place, if you do and you're willing to change I believe you'll force yourself to adapt to a new strategy that only let you gamble with money you can risk losing even if you didn't make profit. I guess sometimes personal experience is the teacher as learning from other people's experience may look unrealistic.
Not knowing when your next win could happen is what makes gambling intriguing. That's where the randomness applies, otherwise people would have dive in with all they have when they know it's time for them to have that win. Like in the OP's analogy of the monkey for example, even those monkeys that were in luck of having streaks of winnings never knew they would be in luck to enjoy such because basically their wins can't be just attributed to their strategies.
Knowing this is knowing peace. The reason I said so, if you have a proper knowledge on the fact that winning could come at any time at it's own pace, that's should make a gambler not to chase win desperately, but yeah we tend to see some gambler still go toward the wrong path even though they're well aware of the danger. Let just say some gambler have already embraced the fact that they could loss everything even before the start of the game, yet they act as though they were prepared of the dangers after they must have exhausted all they had.
Welcome to the forum. I noticed your casino from the service board where Little Mouse launched your campaign. I have visited your website and signed up. I had difficulty seeing my username, rather I saw an ID in alphabetic form like a random name. I signed up with a link in the campaign thread by using my Gmail. Am I good to go or I have something to setup?
You can find the edit your name option on the user dashboard. And you can get to the user dashboard when you click on your profit at the top right corner of the home page, then the user dashboard is at the bottom of the user XP point.
Those social media companies stores user data on clouds so they literally have a way to help reset passwords and have access to their accouns. But that's far different from seedphrases where if you mix the words, you loss one or more, then getting access to your funds becomes difficult.
Yea, it's possible to brute force your seed, but the chances of you recovering your keys are very low. Fact is, we don't want to mess with things we don't understand. Upon joining this forum, I've come across several ways to store our keys but just few of them are worth a try. it's better to use methods that have clearly been tested and trusted for years now and store our seed using them...
Better to be prepared than only rely on your brain.
It is prone to make mistakes along the way..
It's unsafe for anyone to develop trust issues or feel insecure to the extent of memorizing their bitcoin wallet address without setting up a manual back up system should in case he mistakenly forgets a single character in his seed phrase which may cause him to be denied access to his coins just like some abandoned wallets without their seed phrase to claim ownership. No matter what happens I'll always recommend backing up your seed phrase manually.
