Here's a short update from the dev front:
Works have been going on in the background and the core code is aligned with Bitcoin 0.18. We are currently working on a replacement for the old PrivateSend functionality, it will be called CoinJoin! and will be the base for the upcoming rebranding release. CJ! has turned from a rework of the PS code into an entirely new development providing reliability, stability and even offers Masternode owners additional payments as they will receive a small fee when processing such a transaction. CJ! utilises Bitcoin Core's partially signed transactions to obscure funds.

WOW the Mining Dutchman is still alive... must have been ages when I was hanging on there. Regarding CHC, there are some things you need to take care about in your stratum. That might be too technical for one post, please contact me here, on our Discord or in my favorite steakhouse in The Hague ;-)

Short update what is going on:
Regardless the issues encountered we have been moving on for the past months to continue our development based on the current CHC code. Targets have been met and we are ready to enter the test and bugfix phase of the new release. This statement can be verified by checking the master branch of the CHC repo.
The earlier post stating our resignation from this project remains unchanged, it is to be considered a base class for a universal implementation of additional features. In other words, a contribution to the open source community by utilizing the existing asset distribution for spreading the word.
The target for 2019 (for us) is to re-brand the product which has resulted from this development and let user decide if they choose a stuck community or go for the future. This is done feature based only, no fork involved.

Can somebody explain how it is possible to have 14,755,314 CHC on the last block? Any update about the resolution would be appreciated.
CHC experienced a double spend attack based on an exploit in the bitcoin code

It was discovered and resolved, approx. 2 hours after the first invalid block the chain has been reverted and the next valid block has been mined. Cryptopia has been informed about the issue and immediately suspended deposits, withdrawals and trading.
Unfortunately due to another unexpected behaviour in BTC

the nodes didn't automatically switch to the longest chain, they need to be stopped and re-started manually with -reindex flag.
Priorities have been set
1.) protect the blockchain
2.) secure the network
3.) communicate
For the explorer, the owner of the site is temporarily unavailable and it is expected to be rectified by the next working day.

any news from devs? they are not active for 2 month
As announced on Discord while back, due to the lack of member participation we (our company) have decided to quit on core development for this project. We do have some plans for the chain, but they are only as public as described in the chat.
If there are marketing guys out there (professionals only) interested in continuing public development and coin use, please feel free to contact me.
Pretty clear to me, if nobody will decide to continue the core development, CHC is history. For the minute, so happy that I sold all my CHC long time ago.
Well, that could be. On the other hand side, anyone could pick up development as we have left in a state being already one of the most sophisticated MN coins and even the next step of evolution 80% finished. The only reason not to move forward was marketing issues, unfortunately that is a crucial link in the whole chain of success.
Shortly after my announcement, there was some activity in the chat regarding those points we've been waiting for more than a year but that didn't last long and turned into a flatline pretty quickly.
As for our part, we had a certain budget reserved for the development with the aim for the governance system to continue covering expenses once it's used up. But the best gov system doesn't help if there's no demand and there for the generated assets can't be sold. That way our stop-loss has kicked in and similar to trading, the golden rule is to NEVER lower your stop-loss. In order to gain ANY benefit of last year's dev work, we decided to use the chain for training and experimental purpose in future unless somebody is willing to fix that weak link called marketing. Otherwise the chain itself renders pretty useless for the public and there for can be used as example as long as it exists.

For practice reason , my masternode was runing on a windows machine

You can run one on Linux and as many as you want on Win. Just let the Sentinel run on Linux and serve all Win nodes from there.

Try installing sentinel... https://github.com/chaincoin/sentinel
Sentinel is written in python. This can basically run on Windows but you'll need to find a hack to run it every minute. Since running a MN on Win is economically pointless, there's no development done or planned to create Win tools for that. Instead, the better solution is to run the Sentinel from any Linux (or OSX) based system and just let it serve the Win node.

Happy to report that the BIP65 soft fork has been activated on the CHC network. The minimum required block version now is 4, that means all blocks produced by 9.x nodes are going to be rejected as they are unable to follow the new consensus rules.

NEW wallet 0.16 doesn't get connected doing whatever I try,
My doubt is:
normally on the other wallets the configuration file (chaincoin.conf for Chaincoin) is where we added the IP for the nodes we want to get connected with
Example: addnode= ip_1stnode
addnode= ip_2ndnode
addnode= ip_3ernode
but with ChainCoin wallet it doesnt works in that way, the file.conf comes empty by default and when we set it up if with for the masternode setting
SO someone knows something about this???
With the old wallet version never had to added coz as soon as I opened it, it get connected to network immediately ...

See comment above, delete the old peers.dat and on decent network it will sync all 1.3 GB in less than one hour.

I'll buy some CHC before Segwit is complete! Is it normal for the wallet to take time to load?
Loading block index may take a while depending on your wallet transactions. Everything else can speed up tremendously when deleting all the old .dat files except wallet.

Is a wallet update from version 9.3.3. to version 16.1. obligatory? To what block or date?
