How to run on pools other than ghash.io and btcguild with Raspberry PI and bfgminer

    1.Modify /etc/apt/sources.list on your Raspberry PI

    deb http://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/raspbian/raspbian/ wheezy main non-free contrib
    deb-src http://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/raspbian/raspbian/ wheezy main non-free contrib

    2.Update the aptitude package on your Raspberry PI

    sudo apt-get update

    3.Download bfgminer

    wget http://luke.dashjr.org/programs/bitcoin/files/bfgminer/4.7.0/bfgminer-4.7.0.zip

    4.Uncompress

    unzip bfgminer-4.7.0.zip

    5.Install dependencies

    sudo apt-get install autoconf libtool libncurses-dev yasm curl libcurl4-openssl-dev libjansson-dev pkg-config libudev-dev uthash-dev libusb-dev libevent-dev

    6.Enter bfgminer directory

    cd bfgminer-4.7.0

    7.Run configuration

    ./configure

    8.Compile bfgminer

    make

    9.Run bfgminer

    ./bfgminer  -o stratum+tcp://stratum.f2pool.com:3333 -u -p 123 --stratum-port --set-device PXY:diff=

    10.Set static IP for Raspberry PI(modifying /etc/network/interfaces)
    Take the IP address 192.168.0.100 as an example. Replace iface eth0 inet dhcp as:

    iface eth0 inet static
    address 192.168.0.100
    netmask 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.0.1    

    netmask and gateway are decided by your Raspberry PI's local network settings.

    11.Configure ethernet controllers

    Same example as above. Modify the pool address on ethernet controller to 192.168.0.100 with port 3333.

re 3) Depending on the capacity of our franchisees. We personally think 20P could be possible even inside China.

re 4) We have the deployment team to investigate and audit the franchisees. We prefer the original 80/20 division and the 80% are calculated as our mining income. But the cost of the device (without chips) needs to be calculated in so there will be adjustments.

re 5) This question set can be posed more frequently. For the PR topic, it's still a to-be-solved problem.

re 6) No "gen3.5", but there will be "gen3.1", which is exploiting the production options from the fab the minimize the consumption.

re 7) There are no crackdown on BTC exchanges. What the central bank did was to secretly prevent banks from keeping their company bank accounts without placing any public bans. It reflects the fact that the gov has still been pretending that they are neutral to Bitcoin.

I believe in the absence of information much has been interpreted with respect to ASIC release based on the previous posts which IMHO are open to various interpretations and are inconclusive in determining the general picture on the ASIC delivery issue.

so you as future manufacturer of mining hardware (with gen3 AM chips) got an update from ASICminer, that you should expect sample chips later this month, correct?

so your mass production of mining hw starts in May (if everything goes well™) ? not AM gen3 mass chips production, correct?
