Jika ICO hanya sebatas cara untuk menggalang dana dari publik, lalu setelah itu publik dibiarkan sendiri mempertahankan nilai token yang mereka beli, maka apa untungnya bagi publik token tersebut selain mengharapkan naiknya harga?

Menurut saya, konsep ICO semacam ini harus dihindari karena konsep semacam ini rawan disalahgunakan sehingga menjadi sebuah penipuan publik. Mungkin inilah alasan kenapa negara-negara tertentu di dunia mengharamkan ICO, seperti Amerika Serikat, Cina, dan lain-lain.

Logika sederhananya begini, "Enak saja mereka menjual token lalu kami dibiarkan menyimpannya yang sama sekali tidak bernilai kecuali karena token tersebut dibeli".

Saya punya sebuah penawaran definisi atau konsep yang lebih tepat bagi ICO. Penekanan saya pada konsep yang saya tawarkan adalah harus ada alasan bagi publik untuk membeli dan menyimpan token itu sebagai sesuatu yang bernilai.

Konsep ICO yang saya tawarkan adalah developer menciptakan token yang mengandung nilai tertentu lalu token itu ditawarkan kepada publik sebagai bukti bahwa publik menyimpan sebuah nilai yang disimbolkan dengan token. Jika konsep ICO seperti ini, maka tidak ada ruginya bagi publik yang membeli.

Contoh praktisnya begini: Google menciptakan token yang dijual kepada publik di mana token mengandung nilai kepemilikan saham di Google. Dengan kata lain, siapa saja yang membeli token itu sama dengan membeli kepemilikan saham di Google dan orang itu berhak terhadap pembagian dividen Google.

Itu konsep yang rasional sesungguhnya. Jadi, ada semacam penyalahgunaan istilah ICO oleh orang-orang yang tidak bertanggungjawab. Wajar saja, banyak token yang kemudian tidak laku lagi dan kemudian hilang di pasaran beberapa bulan setelah dirilis.

inves token dan coin sama sama menguntungkan.jika boleh pilih saya memilih inves pakai coin  karna coin adalah mata uang digital yang memiliki plaformnya sendiri memiliki Blockchain sendiri .sedang token plaformnya ikut di plaformnya coin.token bagus jika iconya sukses.

BINANCE has been number 1 exchange for some time now and people believe in the exchange for safety of funds and along with some coin and token listed are good ones , but in recent time as we all know that bear market has made the whole trading look frustrating and many have pull out, but in some days back now we have been seeing lot of daily pump in BINANCE for weeks now, which I think has some funny move if not that BINANCE is now a pump exchange to keep it users or what do you guys think on this as on daily basis we see small Satoshi token been pumped and it's becoming rampant? And the market still show that the bear is still very strong.

During the latest Ethereum core devs meeting, held today, the developers set Wednesday, January 16, as the date to implement the upcoming Constantinople hard fork on the mainnet. This date is subject to change if issues arise or other considerations are brought forward between now and then.

With well over 2000 cryptos in the market, makes sense to devote resources in collaring exchanges first (after identifying unregistered securities) rather than spreading themselves too thinly in the hunt for issuers.
