I am still in the original discord since Day 1, why isn't your core developer in there anymore? And yes I dumped this after ellaismer left. Lost a lot doing that too, but when the main dev leaves, what would anyone think is going on? Up until that point I thought this was going somewhere.
Well many projects out there where abandoned by the lead dev and other devs took over the project and continued developing it, this is also the ELLA case, so is not a big deal. I remember dev said is a well known developer of a top coin out there and maybe this is the reason he left. Who knows...This is not true. Lead dev, ellaismer, is as active as usual. It's just part of community devs lives ELLA for their own project.

To be honest I didn't followed this thread lately even if I hold a good bag of ELLA as I was mining it from the begining and bought it at under 500 sats. My bad, I took for god the @podavan post which said you sold and left the project.

Если Ellaism будет так же популярен как сейчас о 10ти долларов даже мечтать не прийдётся, в лучшем случае до бакса бы дотянуть. Форков эфира сейчас более чем достаточно, мало кто из них способен бороться с оригиналом даже при условии давления со стороны регулирующих органов на Витальку и его детище.
Он сейчас майнится практически по стоимости электроэнергии ещё чуть чуть и это будет затратным, плюс износ железа. Элла стала ещё бессмысленней чем была раньше.
Сделать копию эфира - это много ума не надо, чтобы утверждать что копия лучше оригинала - тоже)) Монетка-то совсем загибается, твиттер последний раз в конце марта был активен. Вот цена и стремиться к нулю. Мертвые проекты никому не нужны.Да живой он, не на тот твитер смотрели.

Papasakosiu jums savo kasimo (ne?)sėkmės istoriją. Pradėjau kasti lapkričio pradioje viena GTX 1050 ti plokte, po keleto mėnesių nusipirkau RX 560 4GB, o prie kelias savaites RX 560 2GB (itai ir bios teko pamodifikuoti, baisiai jau lėtai kasė), dabar kasu dviem ploktėm namie ir viena univere (įdėjau valdikan kompiuterin...), ikasu 5 ELLA ir 1,5 PASL/dieną (-dcri 10 Claymore dual miner). Dar pakasinėju trimis procesoriais XMG ir ROI coin (pastarojo maokai pastaruoju metu, bet savo laiku pasikasiau). Rezultatai? ~0.05 ETH kienėje, ~120 ELLA, ~3400 PGC (eth klonas), kitąmet vasario-kovo mėnesiais kai baigsis depozitai bus ~5500 ROI coin, ~1000 PASL (dalį pirkau u eth). Stakin'u ~320 XMG (Magi coin, moka palūkanas jei laikai wallet online, gruodį keliolika pasikasiau, o nesenu kriptovaliutų kritimo metu nusipirkau u 55 ~300XMG (dabar ir 200 nebenupirksi, pakilo) normaliam stakin'imui. PASL i viso bus ~42 milijonai, developeriai triūsia nepilną darbo laiką, tai moneta juda nebaisiai greitai, bet turi neblogas perspektyvas. XMG i viso bus 25 milijonai, pastaruosius keletą mėnesių turi bėdų, bet tikėsimės pataisys, kol kas PoS metodu kapsi palūkanos u "wallet online". Viena įdomiausių valiutų - ELLA, Ellaism, varus Ethereum klonas be "premine" ir "devfee", labai kietas developeris ir daili community. Yra viltis kad nuskris jei ne iki Marso, tai bent iki Mėnulio, jei pavyks - paraysiu i Majamio (čia buvo reklama be usakymo nr.).
Kai pirkau pirmą ploktę - paėmiau ir seną kompą u 22. Jo maitblokis po kelių mėnesių nusprogo tikrąja to odio prasme (buvo nedidelis bum), laimei buvo garantinis su popieriuku, skytech davė naują. Su antra vaizdo plokte bėdos - pasirodo motininėje PCIe 1x lizdas neveikia. Pirkau kitą motininę ploktę su procesoriumi, bet be ram (irgi DDR2) u 15, variai nuplauta ar maai naudota, pasijungė abi GPU per riser'ius i aliexpress
Sąnaudos? Kakaip nesiparinu dėl elektros, ildymas autonominis, tai altuoju laikotarpiu prisideda prie krosnies, o aplamai u visas komunalines moku +-50-65/mėn. Gal kol kas tiek.

Try to dual mine with my 6xRX470 rig but it pull eth hashrate from 169mh/s to 70mh/s.
After 2days of mining, I get 12 coins at speed of 1.2Gh/s. Is this normal? Thanks.

It is normal. Hashrate has increased last several days. It was way lower last year, like ~300GH/s, now is >2TH/s. I'm dual mining with 3 cards, earning <2PASL/day. Try to decrease your dcri in settings, so it will not pull down your dagger speed.

Ну всё в общем-то. Приехали. Тот случай, когда разработчики не могут между собой договориться. Из плюсов: сколько можно будет закупаться до-дешевке и со 100мх будет капать по 100 ЭллЭто на пока что называется dramacoin - постоянные драмы между разрабами, кидание, перемеривание длины. С кем не бывает. А так хорошо начиналося. Вот кто теперь скажет - Cathedral или Bazaar?

I just received my odroid-hc2 and thinking to try mining by using this arm single board. But I failed to compile hodlminer-wolf.

Right, hodlminer does not support arm. There is cpu multi miner for arm, but it does not supports hodl algorithm, since it is, how to say, not very popular.
There is cpuminer-opt for linux, which supports hodl, but.....

Apart from the nerd factor, I don't see the point of mining on ARM, the code is open source and on github so your welcome to play with it.
I can tell you some points. Not everybody with PC on the table is going to run it 24/7 just for ROI mining (unless they are so called "nerds"). If it is desktop - it can be noisy. Sometimes PCs can sit near place where people sleep, etc. Better situation with work/office PCs, people will use them (probably) 1/3 of the time. Situation with ARM is another - they can sit and calculate hashes 24/7 without any problem, since most of them don't have fans, thus not making noise. Another point is that performance (kh/Watt ratio) of ARM CPUs is usually several times higher, so small Pi3, doing 12h/s 24/7 would do about the same work as "weak" novadays x86 CPU working 8 hours/day using less energy.

What is the maximum number of coins that will be generated? I am a little concerned about inflation over time as more coins come into existence and can't find this information in the white paper.
This has been discussed numerous time and with in-depth detail.
Nobody can know how many coins will be generated because nobody can know how many users will do what with term-deposits, etc.
No need to be concerned with inflation since the %'s for POS and term deposit will be reduced lower when and as needed to control any future inflation issues.
But in the whitepaper I've read:
Term deposited coins can provide up to 593% interest if they are locked for one year. Unlike other alternative coins, ROI coins' proof of stake minting and interest payouts are carved in stone.
So this is not the very truth?

I think the stats are not correct there as suprnova has not found a block yet. With 70% hashpower it would look completely different... Still more workers needed there to spread the hashpower...
