if some serious criticism for CAT apears there are always some Newbies like you

I always find it amusing the fact that "lack of posts" means i'm a newbie and not someone that just interacts when necessary or uses a lot of PM. Using my post count for argumente sake is just sad.

And my opinion that it's not.

I'm using one Amazon AWS free tier VPN (just 1GB RAM) just for trading and i'm running it 24/7 for 10 straight days now. CAT already made more than 147 thousand API calls and completed 218 Ping-Pongs in 3 different market tabs. My RAM use never excedes 250MB and i can see in the logs that, in my opinion, CAT it's very stable and reliable for this kind of program.

I think you can look at http:///minera/index.php/app/stats URL, that should give you each chip stat.

Thanks for your help  Cool The only thing i get is this per blade:

Code:
{"ttyACM3":{"frequency":800,"accepted":2489,"rejected":2,"hw_errors":1,"shares":3611400,"hashrate":2701197,"last_share":1403308505,"serial":"48FC66603135"}

I think is just the total  Cry

Is there a way or command that I can use to check if all the chips on a G-Blade are working in the logger?  Huh I have two G-Blades and one seems to be under performing and i'm getting way to many HW errors:

The hash rate seems way to low. I've had a g-blade in the past and it was always hoovering between 5.2 and 5.6 Mh/s.
This was with cpu-miner from sandor111, auto tuning enabled, default clock 850 MHz.
I don't remember the number of hardware errors exactly, but it was low, somewhere in the region of 1.5% or less.

Acording to this link http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/cpuminer-sandor111/ minera uses the sandor111 cpu-miner. I'm going to try the 850 MHz for a few hours and see how it's goes.

Strange thing is that both of your blades are under performing. Maybe the problem is not in the g-blade but somewhere else.

That already crossed my mind. I have one friend that got one G-Blade and he already agreed to let me test mine on is setup and using his on my setup. Also i will try the autotune  and i think i can output the log file to see if anything pops up Wink

Thank you JoostB and James42 for your help  Cool

Looks dodgy to me. See if MinerEU will respond to you.

Yes it does look dodgy  Undecided I think one or two chips are not working. I could try to lower the temperature but i'm almost sure it's not going to solve anything. Also the track record for MinerEU to respond to emails is very bad right now. But i need to solve this Sad

What do you think of Minera?

It looks very good to be honest. Many thanks for the tip  Grin Btw, is there a way to check if all the 40 chips on each blade are working?

There is also Minera that supports the G-Blade with sandor111's CPUminer. It's a very nice interface too

https://github.com/michelem09/minera

Thanks for pointing this out  Cool After +13 hours i get this:

I still think speed is to low and i also get way to many HW errors  Undecided I know it's just arround 1Mh/s but I'm 1Mh/s short of the ideal speed and that's 0.001 BTC * 30 days less per month and i'm not sure if MinerEU can replace my G-Blade of if this is cover by the warranty. Also, not a fan of paying for the return shipping  Lips sealed

Maybe you should try the CPU miner for Gridseed from sandor111, I always had the best results with that.

https://github.com/siklon/cpuminer-gc3355

You should get something like 5.6Mh/s with it. HW errors should be only a few.

It also shows the results from each chip, so you can easily track if there are chips doing nothing at all.

Thanks for the tip, I will try it for a few hours and see if i have better results  Wink

So, i just got my G-Blade from MinerEU and i think something is not right after running it for 12 hours  Undecided

I'm using the Hashra controller and the clockspeed of 839 (supposed it's the "magic" number) and my top speed is just 4.6Mh/s and the average is 4.4. Also i'm getting to many HW errors. I think 2242 HW errors is way to many for something that it's stock ant not overclocked Lips sealed

Is there any Pi controller i can use that can check the chips individually to see if they are working or the temperature? I'm think i have one or two bad chips on my blades. I was expecting at least 5.5 top and 5.2 average  Undecided

Sorry guys I'm really bogged down with work and compiling the final version of linuxcoin. I will start answering questions once the final version is released. The final version is coming along nicely and will have some great features like a pxe server so you can boot several machines from one USB stick + much more. I'll try and keep everyone posted as I go along.

Its going to be a small wait for the final version as I'm trying to make this as distro like as possible and much more user friendly. I'm looking for people to help out for a cut of the donations. If you have some spare time and would like to make linuxcoin awesome please PM me. Any help is greatly appreciated !!

PS: Thanks guys for all the donations !!

This are some great news Grin Cant wait to try the final version. Good luck Smiley

Can someone please tell me how i can remote control my machine? Not a step by step thing (unless you want it  Wink) but tell me where to go and start so i can control this 50km away on my windows machine.

The rest is working 100% ok and I'm mining having zero problems. I just need some help starting the remote control thing. I have read a lot but the truth is I'm not a Linux expert and i got kinda confused on this particular part even reading past posts  Undecided

Thank you
