Yes, I agree it has yet to be proven. Unfortunately in American politics there are no petri dishes or labs. The only way to prove it is to do it which is what we're doing. As far as "you dont have the means/right to sell people some kinda digital votes (or something?" I've used Waves in an ICO before (it failed, probably not the fault of Waves.) My experience has been that total noobs, I mean people with zero crypto background, can easily be taught to set up a waves wallet and seem very willing to do so and waves is just so dang cheap in an airdrop.  The prior discussions about lack of exchange adaption is very scary though.  That could be a deal killer.  On the other hand, it would be so easy to establish a market for noobs on the Waves Dex.  I'm getting ready to try another ICO, I wonder how the transaction costs compare too?

I just read in Forbes that Japanese authorities are discouraging exchanges from listing privacy coins. https://www.forbes.com/sites/adelsteinjake/2018/04/30/japans-financial-regulator-is-pushing-crypto-exchanges-to-drop-altcoins-favored-by-criminals/#674260891b8a   No real new facts in the article but it does have me wondering if Japanese authorities really are taking a dim view of privacy coins?  Are Sumo developers monitoring this?  Would it discourage the developers if this turns out to be true?     

 

I was looking for some news about poloniex halting trading on ZRX today and saying that it will require help from the development team.  Of course, you never leave more on an exchange than what you're prepared to lose, but it still doesn't sound healthy for the coin.  Maybe it's retaliation for 0x becoming a platform for a decentralized exchange?
