I have the Eufy 30C. Not as expensive as other robot cleaners but it gets the job done! It’s small so it easily gets under all the furniture. It’s quiet too.
I think these robot cleaners are a must-have at home. Who has time to clean nowadays?

When you forgive, you are accepting the reality of what happened and finding a way to live in a state of resolution with it. You can take your time and it doesn't necessarily have to include the person you are forgiving. Forgiveness isn't something you do for the person who wronged you, it's something you do for yourself. Re: Faster crypto transactions?

I'm not sure of the tone in your post whether you are amazed or irritated with new exchanges that are coming up but whatever it is, I think it's part of the technological advancements and will surely play a major role in the economic system of the world now and in the future. You mentioned about Virie. I came across this blog article the other day if you're interested. https://www.annerainwater.net/blog/virie-the-currency-of-the-future

Thanks...quite an interesting read. So, the Virie coin is not a standard crypto, it's just allows for faster transactions in the Virie market.

Correct. It's not a standard crypto. From what I've read, it's a virtual marketplace WITH a cryptocurrency feature. I think it's attempting to be more comprehensive than other exchanges and that it can serve as a viable financial instrument. What has caught my attention is its blockchain-based market that ensures entries are non-erasable plus, they cannot be hacked. If that's true, then this new exchange could be what society needs, right?

Japan seems to be building a supercity too.
“Possible features of a supercity will include, for example, autonomous vehicles moving throughout the area, cashless payments and financial settlements, and digital administration that will automatically change information on one’s bank account and driver’s license, if necessary, after a move to another municipality. Comprehensive regulatory reform will be needed to make such a supercity possible.”

Sounds like a completely livable city, right?

Re: Hacking kills the cryptocurrency market

I agree with you. Hacking is very very big reason. I think not biggest but big reason. cyrptocurrency market is very risk because of this people scary about the investment this market. People do not trust the markets and projects.

Exactly. People will be hesitant to invest on something they could potentially lose to a potential threat. I mean, I’d rather lose money because of a slow market then to the hands of a greedy hacker, right? I despise this hacking so much, that I’m currently looking into other options that could be safer and more secure. Has anyone encountered the Virie Market here? According to posts about it, market entries in this DEN are non-editable, non-erasable, private, decentralized and cannot be hacked. One of their selling points is also easy storage and transfer wherever one is in the world. Because it’s digital, you don’t need to disclose your identity or the purpose of the payments, you can transfer funds regardless of amount without the need of providing data and additional documents. Accounts can’t be frozen as well. Looks promising, in my opinion.

I've recently bought a new iPhone XS Max and am really loving its AR capabilities. I really enjoy using it with my nephew and nieces. I also like playing games in VR. I think these two, AR and VR will be, or should be, a big thing in the future. It's making every day lives less boring, especially VR. Virtual reality makes you want to live in the virtual world for good.

I totally agree with you that VR and AR can make everyday living less boring. Not only do they change the way we view the world, but how we experience the things around us. Some even consider it as an extension of reality or an escape --that's why I'm not surprised how most people want to actually live in a virtual world. I heard it's in the works already. Do you think it can be developed within our lifetime?

How exactly can crypto be a danger though? I think cryptos advantages outweigh any risks, if there are any. Regarding security concerns, I think these are being addressed already. I know Virie has. It’s blockchain-based distributed exchange network has market entries that are non-editable and non-erasable plus, it cannot be hacked. Exchanges such as that should give us peace of mind, right?

It will be interesting to be able to live in a smart city that has traffic, utilities, and documentation that is completely automated. But the change in city construction isn't just one minute, and the launch of new technology takes time. It may take years for blockchain technology to interact with IoT, artificial intelligence and large data, to be integrated to manage urban services and public infrastructure.

Yes, for sure it will take time to incorporate and develop these technologies in the city. It certainly takes time for us to adopt new technologies within our own cities, right? But it’s just fascinating that thanks to technology, we can envision and build better cities in the future. Do you agree?

Re: You think the Crypto market will keep growing?
by
James_Cline
on 22/11/2018, 00:26:10 UTC
Why not? Cryptocurrency has already established a corner in the world for itself and it's also proving that the acceptance will go higher in the coming days. The problem is, we think crypto for investment only while crypto itself a currency.

Yes, exactly!!! We are stuck in the mindset that crypto is only a means to invest, when it was designed to be a virtual currency. Acceptance will grow for sure, especially with cryptos now exhibiting more positive features than before. I’m currently looking into Virie. It seems to be designed to be the ultimate financial instrument –it boasts of a blockchain-based distributed exchange network with a cryptocurrency feature. An escrow system makes it feasible for the exchange of goods and services as well. With exchanges such as this, I think the world will be accepting of the possibility of going cashless.

Re: Future of Technology ??
by
James_Cline
on 22/11/2018, 00:22:44 UTC
I think technology evolves really fast nowadays and people are looking for more and more. As long as there is demand there will also be offers. So, in order to say that in the future we will have this and that it's not possible. We can only say that if we (more people) need flying cars (the demand) we will soon have them (offer). So that's how i see technology innovating in the future.

I think there will always be a constant demand for technology. We always want things easier and more convenient, correct? They say necessity is the mother of invention. That’s how technology develops. We need to solve earth’s problems, we need to make ourselves healthy and functional, we need to make work more efficient and productive –that’s the reason why new technologies are developed.  And I think all these developments in AI, blockchain, VR and AR –these are for fulfilling our everyday needs.

Re: Will the rise of immersive technologies increase the popularity of Bitcoin?

Since bitcoin is blockchain-based and runs because of the internet, I think it makes sense that attention for other progressing technologies will also boost the presence of bitcoin and other cryptos. I mean, all techs are somehow connected, right? Let’s say 5G can power virtual reality, and a virtual space could function like the real world because of a virtual currency. Makes sense, right?

Aside from the blockchain apps you mentioned such a social media and messaging apps, the technology could also provide the framework for a whole new financial infrastructure that would enable simpler, easier and more secure payments and exchanges. Was doing research about altcoins and came across Virie. More than just a new digital currency, it features a virtual marketplace –a blockchain based distributed exchange network that allows for secure contracts without the need for any third-party services. This could totally change how transact and do ecommerce –all thanks for blockchain tech.

In the foreseeable future, each developed country will create its own crypto currency, provided by the national currency.

How much can this contradict the very idea of Bitcoin as a free, decentralized system?

Need cryptocurrency state control?

Won’t one, global currency make more sense though? It’s digital, so it should be feasible, right?

I’d highlight these bitcoin features:
-Bitcoin working under the blockchain technology, which is decentralized in nature.
-Compared to other virtualized transactions such as PayPal or credit card payments, Bitcoin comes with a lesser transaction fee
-Currently, hundreds of merchants accept Bitcoin payments. People are more familiar Bitcoin more than the other currencies.
-Privacy and anonymity
-Its scarcity makes it precious

I have been saying this that cryptocurrency was brought to place by Bitcoin and no other cryptocurrency can over throw Bitcoin because it is the father and mother of all cryptocurrency

Don't get me wrong. I am a bitcoin enthusiast, but my business and marketing background is telling me that a product being a pioneer does not always guarantee that it will always remain on top. What bitcoin has done is pave the way for cryptocurrencies to exist. But what if an altcoin with better features will come to exist?

this is the dream of all bitcoin and altcoin users and they will continue to strive to make it happen, the government, online merchants and other stores can properly integrate with crypto payments, regulatory support from the government will have a good impact on future crypto

Correct. But the dream is totally achievable, right? I’m determined that regulatory support from the government will take place. How can it not when digital currencies are proving to be more efficient and secure?
