Re: Can whitepaper still shows the weakness of a project and their team
by

I am not so into a whitepaper anymore, this is what newbies still do, me I will just look into a whitepaper to know what the team have in plan for the project or to understand the projects tokenomics but whitepaper will never be the reason why I pick or reject a project, there are other more factors to look into than whitepaper.

We all have different occurrences in our past lives, I borrowed money to build a farm and it all came crashing down, I had to be careful with my decisions because later I found out that borrowing money to do anything in my life always ends badly, I stopped it and grow up step by step on my own.

Re: Now I know why offline is very important with crypto wallet seeds

It's better to be more friendly to your pen ✒️ when it comes to crypto wallets than your keyboard, I have never lost my funds from any wallet that I wrote down it's recovery seeds with my hand, it's always those that I type using a keyboard, or trying to import wallet into another wallet.
Only if you write it down correctly. If you only write it down but don't test that what you wrote is correct, zero mistake by try to recover with it, you will not be able to recover your wallet later. This is when you still lose your coin even you did wrote seeds down on paper.

Furthermore, paper is vulnerable with water, fire, physical damages, though you must save it in a secured and very safe places.
New crypto wallets of today have found a way around this, to avoid writing down the wrong words the wallet will ask you to type in the correct words again for confirmation, meta mask wallet and Trust wallet do this, even some on other blockchains do the same thing.

Re: One way to avoid scam wallets

Stay away from wallets that are still new, they might not be scam wallets but since they are new there may be some bug that the team haven't seen yet, do not be the first users that deposits big amount of coins in such wallet thinking it's safe, it's better to go with a popular crypto wallet and before downloading make sure you go through the official website.

Re: Tokens/coins with insanely high inflation will not be not profitable ever
by

Aside from them having no use cases...

* Price of one token will automatically decrease when there's a flood of free tokens getting into markets and scarcity of the token decreases.

* Even if you look at it from the point where your bag wouldn't necessarily lose value as in whole, as it too is increasing with the circulating supply there's one thing you forget, and that's traders. Traders use altcoin or fiat money pairs to do technical analysis, and it obviously will look bad when the trader sets the targets. That would mean that charters would need to use marketcap graph to find a bullish TA and probably no one would even bother to do that as very few do it now.

* Rebasing as a solution is worst possible as it eats away the whole idea of having high interest from staking in the first place.

So why the hell do they keep coming back on the markets?

Not necessarily, Ethereum is the prime example of that, without any cap of it's maximum supply people still believe in it, and now it already reach more than 122M of total supply, and I believe that many people has made profit out of Ethereum, other example is ADA / Cardano the current circulating supply is 34B, and the max cap is 45B, it is now a top 10 coin in Coinmarketcap. There are many other factor beside coin supply, the maximum or circulating supply is indeed have and effect on token price but it's not that significant.
Ethereum now has a total max supply and it's under a million after the merge was completed, I believe this will make Ethereum to grow higher in price someday, no more worries about unlimited max supply like before, if you can check the amount of max supply on coinmarketcap you will see that it's fixed.

Testnet is experimental, you participate in one makes you a tester, and you will make some swap or test run the service to find any bugs and report back to the team or dev, you will be rewarded for doing so, mind you I don't like test net because it's not always straight forward and most of all you won't always get paid.

Abandon the wallet and download another, just move the tokens that are yours and leave behind the fake tokens, those responsible want you to move or try to sell the fake tokens it's a trap, since I've switched from coinomi wallet to Trust wallet I've not seen those fake tokens again.

This is nothing new, the first thing I would check in any motel/hotel is a hidden camera, it's very important, some people are so evil-minded and dirty that they plan to have a video of couples making out, imagine, they can even use this against you if care is not taken, I am not trying to side a part but the loss of asset might not even be from the hands of the hotel workers, anyway we learn every time.

Re: What are the most developing play to earn games right now
by
JangoUnchained
on 25/09/2022, 15:52:53 UTC
I need the list of the most developing games on the blockchain right now, I think 50% of my crypto portfolio will be play to earn games.

Star atlas and embersword are the play-to-earn games I follow right now. I like playing MMORPG games with my friends so I'm looking forward for Embersword's full release.

Star Atlas is a strategy exploration game where players are divided into 3 factions and will fight for resources. There is no exact gameplay yet but what I like from them is its developers are always giving updates about how they continuously polish the game. They already release 2 tokens now that will be used on their game in the future. $POLIS which is the governance token and $ATLAS which is the utility token.
Star Atlas look like a dream that may never come true, since the project launched they haven't showcase any good gameplay and that's because this project is still in work, also I doubt it will catch huge attention too, anyway we can never tell but I am not ready to gamble on that, look into more reliable play to earn games like Immutable X and Gala games, these ones can't fail you.

Microcaps? They are the riskiest projects to invest into, I do have two micro caps in my wallet but I invested 50$ each on these projects because that's the amount I can afford to lose, though the projects are well build, Alutra is one of them and it's a web3 project too, I am just saying, make sure you invest very little amount.

Wait it out, a few more weeks BTC will hit a new all time low probably 13,000k that's the perfect time for DCA, right now I think projects like Seedify, Vulcan forged, moonbeam, Gala and few others have better community support but there are also few new projects that aren't yet popular but will become big in next bull market, it's better if you can do your own research and make your choice.

Projects that fell 100% should be considered dead 💀  it means all investors sold and left the project and it has no volume available anymore, the lowest I've seen till now is around 98% max, top altcoins are safer than low market cap coins, be very careful investing in such project.

Re: Suggest a promising project at an early stage?
by

If there is a person who is an ambassador or pioneer of a project, he will not speak bad things about the project, he will only mention the positives that he sees and will not mention the negatives that exist in the project, also if he believes that the project is good and carries high specifications, this is not necessarily true, so it is better That each person conduct his own research and make sure of the criteria he deems appropriate for him.
even not an ambassador? I think those shill account that had been on going for long time now ? there had been so much shilling coming from here and there and keeping their thoughts to make people believe that their project or the project they are supporting will bring insignificant increase but what we only get is BS comments.
I think Saito has the potential to be the best layer 1 project in future, they've been around for a while but are still a new project and in the coming month everything will change, many developments in the crib will be unveiled, and some projects are just built differently and Saito is one of them, check it out to see for yourself, https://saito.tech
Like this one , try to check deeper before putting any amount for your own safe investments ..
Of course, everyone is responsible for their own actions, I recommend doing your own research before investing a penny into any project that's less popular from the likes of Ethereum and BNB, I did my own part before choosing Saito and I am not trying to shill the project either.

Re: How much do you care when you wear a commercial Signature?

It's a necessity to do some research on projects before wearing their signature but what if the project is a Ponzi but the payment is good enough? When it comes to money people won't care about what they are promoting, they will definitely promote the project and take their money.

I read online that A US court have ordered USDT owner Tether to disclose the reserves backing its stable coin, this is the largest Stable coin in crypto space presently and this doesn't sound like a good news to me, is this the great crypto collapse in play or I am just think way too much? This freaks me out.

Nothing is wrong with the Polygon network mate, maybe the exchange have a reason of abandoning Polygon Network right now or there is an upcoming small upgrade, what is the name of these tokens you referring to? I believe you can find other exchanges they are listed on and look if their polygon deposit and withdrawal is still open.

Re: To all 100x hunters out there
by
JangoUnchained
on 23/09/2022, 05:55:10 UTC
Get rid of the old stuffs and hunt for the next 100x, not a financial advice but DYOR.
They might old already but I’m sure they still have to offer in this market and with that, pump can still happen.
I’d rather hold more of those old stuffs than to risk on a new projects that can’t even last a year in this market. Finding the next 100x is not easy, there’s no assurance for this especially on a new project. I suggest to stay active in the market go to other platforms to see good projects but don’t go all in, there’s still a risk on that so be careful because you might looking to a project that didn’t exist at all. Focus on what’s on the market for now, it’s more worth it.
It's better to really trust old proven projects with a working platform. Instead of chasing new projects unknown to anyone. Because you can sharply go into negative territory with suspicious investments.
You are right, proven projects are here to stay unless they mess things up themselves but such projects are still safer than new projects, its better to give new projects time and see how they will perform, in the last bear market I sold all my volcano forged because I don't trust the project and after seeing what they are cooking up I've decided to invest in them this time around.

Nothing beats buying the dips, this is the surest way to make good profits from investment, if a coin cost 100$ at ATH in a bull market and you are able to buy for 1$ to 5$ in a bear market even if it never reach ATH again you will still make big money, this is why investing when the price is almost 100% down is the best strategy, just make sure you bag the good altcoins.
