Either you will win or lose for some games, that is purely based on your game and luck. Just ask your friends and colleagues about freebitco.in site and its benefits. So that you have one idea to register with the site or not. And give me the best message to new users as i don't have complete knowledge on this.

Not only albania Fear would be a wrong word. I think they don't view it as a threat so much (do remember, there is much more to banking than just what exists in the US), there are 220 countries and territories that have banks. Cumulative popular opinion is that bitcoin, at present is not a threat. It might be interesting, but not a threat, and nothing to fear.

Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin.

There's so many reasons I could contradict your points with but it would take too much time

Number one is PRIVACY

Bitcoin usage is better for money transactions and long time investments. Whereas we use cash since the first day, it doesn't need to any internet connect. It is easy to buy anything with small payments.

Bitcoin isn't a currency that is kept in banks. It is easy to access, its digital nature makes it portable and unconsumable and also transactions can be done very quickly. we can also expect good profits by investing in bitcoin.

Not late, if anything it is still early into the life of bitcoin as it is slowly creeping into the masses and at that point it still won't be too late so if you can afford it now why not go ahead.

That's a good idea if right now you have a huge amount of money then you can really buy bitcoin, and forget that feeling of being late buyer of bitcoin. In digital currency price is not stagnant, so when there is life there is hope and with bitcoin as long as the system is still alive; you should be positive and expect it's price to grow and riae higher. Although this currency has a volatile character, but the chance of bigger profit is really there to benefit us.

It is not too late to buy a bit coin. you can but it any time, it only depends on how much money you are investing and what profits you are expecting for.

Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin?

on 04/07/2017, 15:54:11 UTC
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?

There's no much places to invest, also we can see a lot of scams related to bitcoin.

My plan is use it as a currency, not an investment, just spend some coins here and there and that's it.

If I have a bit of bitcoin, I can invest in bitcoin in the long run and after the bitcoin price will produce some results from bitcoin, I reinvest the gold because for me the gold investment is so stable that I am very positive with Two things because my future family plan from Invest these two things

My plan with bitcoin is to buy more bitcoins. I think it is a good stream of investment where i can hope for the profits in future.

I just posted a big plug for Genesis Mining in the Unobtanium (UNO) forum.  I wasn't all that impressed with GM when I first signed up, but I am VERY much impressed now...

Mining today
by
Jelks
on 10/08/2015, 04:41:36 UTC
I got into mining about a year and a half ago.  Started with one Block Erupter and several USB Antminers. Just Bitcoin and Namecoin, trying out several different pools (BitMinter, Eligius, Slush).

Then I discovered UNO on Bastille Day (July 14th), 2014, and started looking into it.  I ended up getting a bunch of more USB Antminers (each 2+GH/s), 2 IceFury/NanoFuries (~2.5 GH/s), then 6 BiFurys (~5 GH/s each, except for one defective one that ran at about the level of a NanoFury).

I was mining UNO exclusively by now, using MultiMiner, and various pools, moving from one to the other.  Here is what my rig(s) looked like:

Note: the 2 NanoFuries are sort of hidden behind the fan on the little Amazon USB hub on the right, you can sort of see one of them.  Also, the Block Erupter is visible at the back of that same hub.

Total was about 70-80 GH/s.  Interesting, but USB ASICs are, to be frank, a PITA.  They've got to be attached to a running PC which has to be on all the time, or at least all the time you want to mine.

I was also buying UNO, here there and when I could.

Then I bought 2 AntMiner S3's.  Now we're talking serious hash power, at least compared to the Frankenstein USB rig setup.  Each S3 was ~440 GH/s.  And they ran *stand-alone*, so even when I was traveling or had my laptop off for whatever reason, they still mined.

Combined with my USB rigs, I was often getting about 1 TH/s.  Not bad.  At the time.

Then I bought a 2 TH/s contract with Genesis Mining.  At first, I wasn't at all impressed with them.  OK, just not impressive.

Fast forward to today.  I retired the USB ASICs (a friend of mine is going to help me try and sell them -- either piecemeal or the entire rig -- on eBay).  So I'm just left with the 2 S3's, returning me an average of 850 - 900 GH/s (just under a TH).  With mmpool, I get a teeny sprinkling of Namecoin, UNO, and Bitcoin.  And I *mean* a sprinkling, every 3-5 days!

Genesis Mining, on the other hand, has somehow upped its return so that I'm usually getting .9+ UNOs *every single day*!!!

So I'll be selling the S3's too.  Tired of the noise, the electricity costs, worrying about hardware, pool downtimes (with and without DDOS), occasional internet connection problems, etc., etc.

Bottom line, Genesis Mining is pretty darn cool (and I don't even follow their thread here on BCT).  Whatever they're doing, they're doing right.  Getting almost one UNO a day in these post-halving days with 2 TH/s is fine by me!

And I can dump the hardware and the hassles...

I'll be curious as to what GM can do come the next halving...

Anyway, in the meantime, a BIG THUMBS UP to Genesis Mining!!!

I had a quick wallet question.

When we download the new Beta Windows wallet, it is in zip format.

I unzip it and there is only the QT.exe file.

Do I need to copy the QT.exe file into the directory of the "old" wallet to over-write the former QT.exe? Or, just leave it in it's own directory by itself?

Thanks!

When I downloaded it some days ago, the zip file contained only one file "unobtanium-qt_0.10beta.exe".  Since it had a different name than the old executable ("unobtanium-qt.exe"), I just dropped it in the same folder.  I then updated the shortcut which used to point to the old one.  To do this, right-click on the shortcut, Properties, and put this in the "Target" text box:

Quote
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Unobtanium\unobtanium-qt_0.10beta.exe"

Worked like a charm (the first time, it did an automatic reindex).  Everything else is still the way it was, same folders same everything.  It just has that new beta wallet executable in it, which is what I run. No uninstalling, no anything.

Does that mean there's an official Windows wallet?

Pregnant silence...

Actually, the unofficial one works well.  I dropped the 1.0 unofficial beta executable in the folder where the 0.95 executable is located (C:\Program Files (x86)\Unobtanium on my system), updated the shortcut to point to the new one, and once the reindexing is finished, everything seems to work well -- "missing" coins all of a sudden appear.

It would nice for appearances sake if there were an official installer/setup file that would create and/or update existing installations, and it would be nice for appearances sake if the newly installed version could check for updates automatically, but hey, one step at a time...

40 UNO sent earlier has not arrived.

awaiting txid/confirmation but its been 5-6 hrs.

i was under the impression that implementing merge mining was not an actual fork

Interesting. My 2 S3's, both still mining at MiningPools.tk, are still shipping stuff into my 0.95 wallet as I type this.

However, a small test buy at Bleutrade and then withdrawn a couple of hours ago has still not yet shown up...

Take a look at the "largest wallets" tab on the rich list at Cryptsy, specifically the new #2 (uKFS ...).  He's got 8,726+ UNOs in various wallets, but the most interesting part is this:

    Addresses   22 with non zero-balance
                    1589 known

Wow.

That is strange !!! Uno  blockchain never take a week to upload! The Uno rockchain is very light. Huh

You're absolutely right, the Uno blockchain should never take that long.

A week or two ago, I tried to install a software upgrade (TortoiseSVN FWIW).  The upgrade didn't take, tried it like 4 times.  But I needed my version control, so I did a System Restore to right before the first upgrade attempt.  Now System Restore claims it doesn't mess with your any of your "documents", but I guess the rockchain doesn't qualify as "documents", so it was like, 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 4 months, 8 months (I don't remember) behind.  But it took maybe an hour, at most, to catch up.

And none of my coins were missing.

I smell a keylogger on the OP's computer.  And a UNO-savvy keylogger installer at that...

I hate to keep invoking Wolong, but Taktic said something that made me remember... God I wish I could find it.

Do you guys remember after the pump last year, Wolong had disappeared, then there was a series of "leaked" messages on Pastebin, and Wolong was quoted as saying he was trying to accumulate all of Uno for arbitrage between commodities and cryptos.   I laughed that off, and I still think the leak was fake, but I have to admit....  not a bad damn idea.  Best one I've seen from a troll, actually.

This one?

http://pastebin.com/sADSWK7Z

Lines 63-73

Fascinating!  Thank you.

What IS his game, really?  Seems like he wants -- or at least wantED -- to "play" UNO (hence the pump and dump back in the day), but he's also *intrinsically* long UNO...

What a weird world we live in!  Smiley
