Supernode on old chain (Vitae QT version 4.7.0 or earlier) is not functioning even after wallet synced.


After running the wallet several times, it was observed that Vitae supernode is not working in the original chain as opposed to the original claim that supernode would function after the wallet synchronized. However, supernode on version 0.20.1 (released by Michael Weber) functions when wallet is fully synced. Version 0.20.1 is an update to the original chain to address the forking issues: it is hard-coded in the wallet and does not need third-party hosting services.

Michael and the original developer of the token created a more diverse, secure and stable replacement wallet. It is Mr. Bradley’s hope that Vitae.co will adopt this new wallet and chain in the future.

This wallet requires that a fork of the original Vitae blockchain be used. STEX exchange is currently supporting this chain of Vitae token. Masternode hosting is supported by Nodehub.io. Supernodes are working and no longer need hosting as they are hard-coded into the new wallet.

 This is a recommended upgrade for all VITAE wallets, masternodes and fundamentalnodes. It has changes to reduce forking issues on the network, and is being released at the request of members of the VITAE community.

VITAE 4.7.0 is different from VITAE that is currently trading on STEX. What is trading on STEX is a fork of VITAE which is version 0.20 by other developers.

VITAE 4.7.0 is different from VITAE that is currently trading on STEX.
What is trading on STEX is a fork of VITAE which is version 0.20 by other developers.
DO NOT SEND VITAE 4.7.0 ON ANY EXCHANGES. PLEASE WAIT FOR FUTURE ANNOUNCEMENTS.

 This is a new release to fix fork height in the network. If you are running Vitae Qt Wallet, please upgrade to version 0-20.1 to ensure that you are connected to the proper mainnet blockchain.

Please note, Vitae token will soon be delisted from the EXMO exchange.
Vitae trading will be terminated on 11 August 2021. Token withdrawal will only be possible until 25 August 2021.

MANDATORY WALLET UPGRADE


If you are running Vitae Qt Wallet, please upgrade to version 4.6.5 with added checkpoints to help mitigate forking issues on the network. All masternodes, supernodes and wallets should upgrade to this version to help ensure they are connected to the proper mainnet blockchain. Just uninstall or delete the old Qt version, install the new version and resync.
