To say Elix is a scam and the Devs are underhanded is an absolute joke.

Let me tell you a story.

My Timereum (The coin that was coin swapped into Elixir) was trapped in Nova Exchange, the Devs here offered a lifeline to all those trapped and came up with a plan to check balances and provide Elix.

Unfortunately for me I missed this offer and it expired. Some months later and out of the goodness of their hearts the Devs came up with a plan to deal me back in later on with a new token (Token P) that was going to be a reward of the loan system.

Eventually the Devs, just dealt those of us that had missed the offer back in with Elix. We all got our tokens back!

They didn't have to do this, they went the extra mile and in my experience they go the extra mile in every aspect of this project.

This, to my mind, is the most trustworthy and transparent project I've ever been involved with and I'm not sure of your motives, but you, Untasma, are being deeply disingenuous

I'd like to personally thank the Elix Dev team. A long time ago I made an investment in TME at 3 cents per coin. After the NovaExchange mishap and missing the original Elix conversion I thought I was out o options. After several months of communicating with Dev, they finally made me whole! I'm going to keep this investment safely in an offline wallet now:)

I'd like to add to this. I had the same problem with Nova and now the Elix devs have paid the equivalent amount of Elix into my wallet. Many thanks devs, this is another example of how professional and trustworthy you are.

So Dev helped me yesterday! They logged into my Nova and verified that I indeed had TME coins that were stuck in Nova before Nova put the wallet in maintenance mode. They took my balance and a future deposit ETH address. They said they can hardcode or import that balance into the new token contract. Obviously I don't have the new tokens yet, but I remain very hopeful now. I encourage anyone who ended up with legit coins stuck on Nova to contact them. They will most likely check your trade history to make sure you weren't trying to buy up more TME recently after the wallets unlocked.

To make it easy for them I'd send them your login credentials (Disable 2FA and change your pin/password first). With nova scheduled to go away you shouldn't really have any other coins over there to worry about now anyways.

Same has happened to me now. They went through my Nova account history, checked all was legitimate and have said they will deposit new token next year, when it is released. Big thank you to the Devs!

It's a fair point? Is there a plan, a use for the coin, a business idea behind it?

From what I've read you chaps have been doing this for a long time with CV, then CV2 and now COLX.

New website looks great, but where are we going?

I'm not sure how this all works. Now we've drawn our TME down to our wallets will the devs be able to differentiate it from the TME that has already been swapped? Would there be a record of each coin that shows if it's previously been involved in a swap or not?

Dev: It looks like NovaExchange finally unlocked the TME wallet so we can withdraw it. Now is there anything we can do to get Elix?

Side note it looks like you can even trade TME on Nova.

so then buy cheap TME for 1 Satoshi  on Nova and ask DEVs if he can change it to ELIX 850 Satoshi

Haha good plan  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

TME was fully converted to Exor / Elix - all Coins except these on Nova Wallet.
It was said thousand times that you have to withdrawel it from Nova.
Then Nova was so incompetent and locked the Wallet.

Devs reacted very fair and created the possibiliy to convert the TME manually to Exor/ Elix.
This was a function of the Smart Contract-but i think this function was closed 1 month after the Coinswap.

You had many chances to change your TME to Exor/Elix- now its to late.

Devs had done all they can do

You can see by the transactions on Nova and the time that TME was put into my MEW that it was my original TME that was transferred in my case and I can prove that if needs be.

It's a bit sad that a few chose to react to this problem with some level of glee. We all make mistakes or miss out on posts etc from time to time. I know I'd do my best to help if the shoe were on the other foot and I certainly wouldn't take delight in another's misfortune.

I have no issues at all with the Dev being anonymous, he doesnt hide, interacts with the community, does not overpromise and is very cautious with information sharing to prevent useless hyping! I think in the q1 of 2018 this project will moon! Grin

He/they haven't posted in a while. Would be good to hear from them. Hope the hard work is going well.

For those that still have TME tokens converted to Elixir on Nova, Nova is closing down for some time and you must withdraw all your tokens from the exchange because new management team is talking over the exchange

Thank you for the tip. Unfortunately the wallet is still locked, as it has been the duration of this problem and I cannot withdraw. I am hoping they unlock it.

I have a question, if they do unlock it, will the TME be able move to my wallet? As I understand it, people have to mine it for it to move?

Cheers

Jim

The recovery process actually was announced on our social channels. In an effort to rebrand ELIX, the Twitter post detailing recovery was more recently removed after completion of the recovery process.

We do believe we have a strong case against NovaExchange for why their engineering negligence and lack of communication stranded TME.

Is there anything you can do to help us?

Not at the moment. If something changes, we'll let you know.

Hopefully, give more exposure than last time, learn from mistakes. I'm surprised only 31 people showed up for TME conversion.

Yeah. At least this answer provides a little bit of hope though. I'm assuming that when Dev connected to NovaExchange via the API they checked the balances, sent the new coin to the myetherwallets, and then burned that users TME on Nova? Otherwise if they do try to help us in the future with Nova's help, the people they already helped could potentially double up. If they didn't burn the coin they'd have to try and exclude those people (maybe by coin amount in the spreadsheet). Or if Nova somehow took the coin out of maintenance mode and didn't leave it in a "withdraw" only state, other people could potentially buy TME for cheap based in hopes to cash in on a conversion. Anyways I'll remain hopeful and try to check in once a week now vs once a month.

Fingers and toes crossed!

Just a quick question. If Nova released the TME and I put it into my Ether wallet, would the token be automatically converted to Exor if I added the codes to be able to view it?

Thanks.

I'm sure a lot of you guys and girls would do the very best you could to recoup your funds if you were in the same position. I'm semi-retired now and it's a significant loss for me.  I've taken the forum's advice and PM'd the dev, I've also emailed Nova.

I hope you can understand my plight, I'm also not here to cause trouble, just doing my best to try and find a solution. If any of you have any ideas or advice, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks again.

P.S. Feel free to message me, so I can keep my posting to minimum.

I wasn't part of an airdrop either. I bought in a few days before the wallet went into maintenance mode with no announcement. I don't see why dev would not want to work with NovaExchange.

The thing is, he tried to. Since the issue popped up during the TME days he was in contact with them and they didn't offer a way out. That was about a month of waiting. For whatever reason they've decided to wake up now.

It would be easier to make peace vs burn a bridge. Plus I bet they could work out some kind of agreement to get ELIX listed there and easily convert and dispose of TME.

You both should join the Telegram here if you haven't already. You might be able to get the dev, the main dev, to offer a way out.

I'll do that tomorrow! Many thanks.

I'll just add, it's the same for me. I bought my TME for, I think about 400 sats each, just days before the wallet broke. I was waiting to buy some more but, as I remember the trading was halted and then soon after the message came and we couldn't withdraw from the wallet.

It's all getting very heated here, I personally don't blame Elix. But could use some help.

Well what the hell do you expect the devs to do? Personally email you and everyone else who bought TME?

They did what they damn well could. As everyone always says in crypto, you're a fool if you keep your money on an exchange.

And here you are super fool, NOVA wallet is disabled you dumb fool so no one was able to withdraw.
and if you think exchange have no additional people then BT, then trade here why you go to exchange. Dev should have asked NOVA to inform their users.
Or Dev should have waited for delisting as per their post.

Nova informed users that the wallet would be disabled and gave a deadline to withdraw TME. The devs tried to contact Nova but were met with a brick wall.

If I have misremembered please let me know - anyone - but I've been around since the beginning and I'm pretty sure that is what happened.

I say again, foolish to keep your funds on an exchange.

2017-08-19 09:55 - TME token delisting

TME token has caused more support than all other altcoins together lately and we have decided to mark it for delisting. If we find a solution to the problems with TME we might abort the delisting.

There was no time limit and the wallet was disabled straight away. I think they had technical problems.

I just went back 40+ pages to find the same thing. Was going to post it. I pm'd the dev. Still that recovery process seems unsafe. If I were to generate an API key wouldn't the dev technically have the ability to sell or transfer any of my coins on Nova? I'd need to move everything somewhere else before doing it. You would think there would be some kind of big announcement and it wouldn't be just a single post. I have 30+ different coins. Hard to read every little thing on each one every day. Especially when this one has had a few conversions and 3 threads. They could have just told Nova to mention it on their news feed that a conversion process existed.

I'm fairly new to crypto. I just wish Elix had informed Nova so they could have made an announcement.

Better do your research instead of blaiming anybody for your own faults.

The devs are absolutely not the guys to complain about!

This really is a different world huh? I did research the coin before buying it. But maybe you're right, maybe I should have done more. I just thought there would have been an announcement at the exchange, I was watching the news there for an update.

That doesn't seem right. I was following the first thread and the dev said to be patient with novaexchange and to get your tokens into myetherwallet as soon as the wallet came back out of maintenance mode. I've been checking with nova twice a week and the wallet has never came out of maintenance mode so I've never been able to get my coins out. What exactly were we supposed to do?

Exactly! Nova had problems with TME and then the wallet was locked so we could not withdraw. How exactly could we have drawn down the coins for the swap?
