And that's why kids long term investments are the safest type of investments you could do in the crypto market and not only. May god give strength to all of you.
Where and how would you invest 1m dollars? What coins will you buy? Or will you just put them in Bank?
Personally, that would be the biggest achievement I could have with my crypto investments. Therefor, I would use those money to make even more investments, a few in crypto, most in Real Estate and in would invest into Google, Apple, Facebook and so on to get monthly revenue.

Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for?

I use Bitcoins for donations, micropayments and for online shopping (digital goods). Interesting that only 2.5% use Bitcoins for dark web shopping. I thought that this would be higher.
Bitconnect looked like a pyramid scheme from early on, and it had a ton of warning signs. If you missed the fact even a ton of people on youtube told everyone that bit connect was a scam, so you didn't even need to notice it yourself.
I want to know why people got involved while knowing that it was a HORRIBLE scam from early on?
I don't think anyone expected it to drop so dramatically. Crypto is still something new, so we all learn from mistakes. Ours or the mistakes of others.
Let me share you a story. This story is full of misery but every other story it has a happy ending. That was like more than year and a half ago. I was new in crypto world and i started to work on how to earn botcoin. Btc price was valued by 500 dollar and i had few mbtc got those from performing video campaign jobs crypto-games.net tutorial review video and rollin.io help me to gather some amount of btc. Price was rising. And i was new i didnt had dollars or didnt had the courage to invest in fear of loosing money so i cashed it price gone up to 1000. And i had no dollars with me so i can make invest. Later on i had earned btc by exchanging other cryptos to btc and sell it to 1000 dollar i was happy that i made a right decision. Price gone up to 2000 dollars from 1500 and i felt like damn man!!! Then i decided i aint gonna sell btc at all. I had like 250mbtc by then valued of 500 dollars. All was earned. I hold it tightly and long awaited decision was worthy of it. I had 2500 dollars left with me. I sold those coins by 10000 too much greed is a sinful thing. So hold the Coins. This the best time to buy some btc. If you can then grab some. If you got some then hold it tightly. There is nothing which can stop bitcoin. Quoted by billgates.
We all have a similar story like this to share. The thing is, you can't ever know where the crypto market is taking us. The best thing to do is to be "all in". Wait until you become a millionaire, don't get satisfied with just a few earning.

Re: Keep calm, and take a coffee. A trader said...
Keep calm, and have a coffee, said me a trader when lemhan and half financial world collapsed in 2008. He said "Don't follow your ideas, follow the market! Remember that as the world goes, there will always be something to eat ".
Nothing could be more true!
If you are a trader, a real trader, you will make your fortune when the market goes down and others sell! Short all & buy at discount. The sales time is starting
Words of wisdom. There is no point in stressing yourself out, after all, besides buying, there isn't much you could do to influence the market. HOLD pass these though moments and you will find yourself stronger, with a lot of money in your pocket.

Don't be the guys that thinks it will become a millionaire over night by investing in Crypto. The millionaires of today put their hopes into this a few years back. So expect your dreams to take years to achieve too.

Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoin; supporting each other?

When altcoins are going down, Bitcoin is holding pretty nicely. Because people are selling they alts for Bitcoin, most of the time. Anyone, most of the market goes down...
Over 40 ICOs and over $1 billion raised already in the new year 2018. Last years mark was $5.6 billion. And in 2018, the trend is not showing any signs of slowing down. 2018 bigger year for ICOs?
Interesting graph here. We will see a flood of new altcoins on the market this year. It's going to bring a lot of crappy projects along with a few good projects to the market. We need something that can point out the crap on the market and the good projects out there.
As the age of cryptocurrency comes into full force, it will facilitate a subversively viable taxation avoidance strategy for many of the technically savvy users of peer-to-peer payment systems. In doing so, cryptocurrency use will act to erode the tax revenue base of national jurisdictions, and ultimately, reposition taxation as a voluntary, pay-for-performance function. In this post, I cover some of the benefits such a strategy will have for cryptocurrency investors, why our notion of taxation is ripe for disruption, and why cryptocurrency taxation is enabled by default.
If authorities would have some regulations and a set of rules to actually allow Crypto owners to pay taxes would be great. Right now nobody cares enough about crypto to make a move on them.

Re: It's March. Where is the march of the altcoins?
You are all hoping for another bull run to happen in early 2018, just like 2017. Well, I'm willing to bet my $10.000 worth of crypto that it won't happen. Instead, the total opposite will happen, a lot of altcoins are going to die. I hope none of you will commit suicide.
The market doesn't work that way. I don't think any of us expected the december bull run. In a few weeks the value of the coins will go up and who knows when there will be another bull run.
More and more airdrop is a lie, I do not recommend participation in airdrop, because there are at most a few 100 airdrop quality, so I think it should not be a waste of time.
Almost all airdrop are trash, you can simply go to the first page on their Announcement thread, there are so simple and only talk about airdrops. All these thing are trash and when the coins accepted on etherdelta, the dev will dump all the coins. Only 1-2 project airdrops will become succes others are not.
Totally agree here. Stay away from the airdrops, unless they just give you the coin without doing anything (such as like, follow etc...).
Bitcoin is changing the way we live. Bitcoin is changing the way we do business. Bitcoin is changing the way we travel and save our money/assets. Bitcoin and blockchain technology has open new doors for people to do business with one another without the intervention of third parties.
What do you make of this, huh? Share with us what you think. thanks
It's more like Bitcoin is a tool but we ain't using it enough. Only when we will get full adoption we can see things are actually changing to the better. For now, we are still trying to implement in in our daily use.

Personally I have mixed feelings when it comes about either betting on Bitcoin & Ethereum as the future or on an altcoin. Even if you would consider altcoins as the way to get the most returns, you have to choose from 1529 coins. Which one would you choose.

Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency?
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
That is very hard to believe. Bitcoin has been doing fine. The flow of supply and demand are good. Bitcoin has proved its capabilities and already trusted my many investors since btc was the first digital currency. So it is very hard to believe that in the future another currency will be able to replace it.
Have you seen how much of the market cap Bitcoin is actually losing? It had 90% and now it has 39% of it. Sooner or later the altcoins will surpass bitcoin on the marketcap.
I gather divorce settlements are starting to become a problem in some countries. It's difficult to sort out the split.
I think for know getting a divorce and having to split the crypto you own with your wife/housebound it's gonna be rather tricky as you can claim you have nothing, after all, no one knows your wallet address nor there aren't any clear regulations regarding this new type of money.
