WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

PhoenixMiner suddenly stopped working after I updated the nvidia drivers to version 460.79
It seems 460.79 is not good driver:
https://www.nicehash.com/blog/post/psa-do-not-update-to-nvidia-geforce-460-79-drivers

Can confirm I also installed the latest nvidida driver, it posts gpus then immediately exits program.

For anyone who cares the newest nvidia driver 456.38 increased my hashrate 2-3mhs after this driver update... might help others with 1070's.. but i have noticed on all my rigs their newest driver increased hashrate a couple mhs.

what mining option you have with your gtx 1070ti that you see you get betther results ?

and anyone can help me, i have one rig with 13 gtx 1070ti with afterburner to operate the OC, when the rig start all the fisrt all goes well but after some hours it has some drops hash in some gpus what could be, also notice the pc get a lot more slow, i have 2 psu with 2000w each and also changed the gpu's so the problem is not the gpu, not the psu(i think) and not the risers what could be ?

the hashrate will drop if your temp limit is set to say 60 degrees and it reaches that temp limit it will reduce power draw to lower temps therefore lowering your hashrate... thats the biggest issue I've seen with hashrate loss additionally u may lose a little hashrate on your main card if your using it as your main gpu for your monitor and not the onboard vga. Additionally, try cleaning out your cards after months of running; spray some high pressure air through them helps lower temps as well..

Okay, update for those having issues with mixed nvidia/amd rigs I just discovered this yesterday. Both of my mixed rigs are using the same motherboard (Asrock h110 pro) Additionally both MB's had 2 sticks of 4 GB memory plugged into them, so on a hunch I pulled 1 stick of 4GB Ram out and left them with only 4GB of ram. Not sure WHY this would make them more stable but both have been running fine now for over 24 hrs with no freezing or shutoffs.. If this can help anyone else I hope it does, maybe those MB dont like 2 sticks of RAM I dunno but so far it's seemed to work with 4.9b.

were both of the ram sticks different?
it can be an issue if they are different as it will induce stability issues when they are utilized in high percentage

Nope the Sticks of Ram were the exact same ram on both rigs and i can CONFIRM having two sticks of Ram was causing the issue in the Asrock h110 pro MB as both rigs which i have been having issues with for months are suddenly now working and both running for over 48hrs.. maybe it has something to do with single channel? no idea but anyone using 2 sticks of ram on these motherboards having issues try it with 1 stick on the farthest slot away from the CPU..

SAme thing on my multi-gpu rigs have 2 of them one is 8 nvidia 1070's+ 4 rx580's the other is 8 nvidia 2070's and 5 rx580's both seem to crash randomly... both using the asrock htc+ mining mb, oddly enough I have had a straight nvidia 1070 rig with 8 mining fine that never stops, it seems something to do with mixed rig is causing the crash. One important note though from phoneixminer 4.5c and before I had ZERO problems both these rigs would run fine for weeks. I even lowered my clocks and tried all that seems random sometimes they run for hours and then crash to a desktop, not noticing much freezing though with 4.9b. And no its not a power issue both have dual 1300 watt psu's and only use 1300-1400 watts... Any help appreciated.

With the newest Nvidia driver im getting unable to load NVML when phoneixminer boots up... seems to run but i have no temp readings and no power readings.. any chance we get an update for newest nvidia and amd drivers? Also windows newer updates seem to be messing with phoneixminer giving me random freezing with my two mixed amd/nvidia rigs..

Hello guys!

I have one issue and I don't know where to start. Couple of weeks before(2-3 weeks before) everything was fine .
I have 2 rigs x 7 cards, 1070, win 10, driver 398.36 and Phoenix Miner 4.0b and the speed was 230-231 for each rig, it was perfect since I changed with that DAG from 2.9e version.
All cards was around 32.7-8 and now both are with 225-226 total and I don't understand why...2-3 cards are under 32...
I have:
power: 60%
clock: -150
memory: 780
Maybe if I will update the drivers I will solve the issue? But this is strange because if it is like this all the cards will be the same.
On both rigs to have the same issue, this is why I don't understand, the same speed... if there was an issue with the setup, maybe it was different :\

thanks and regards!  Wink
Unfortunately, there is a gradual hashrate drop for the GTX1070 cards with the increase of the DAG size (we are seeing it from about DAG 200). To be sure that this is the problem, run PhoenixMiner in benchmark mode. To do this, add -bench 100 (this will simulate mining with smaller DAG for epoch 100) to the command line, leave the miner working for several minutes to stabilize the hashrate and write it down. After that repeat the test with -bench 250 and after running several minutes, note the difference in speed. In our testing we've seen drop from 174 MH/s at DAG 200 to 168 MH/s at DAG 246 with GTX1070. Maybe this can be solved by a driver update from Nvidia but nothing is certain. Interestingly 1070Ti doesn't seem affected (or at least the slowdown is much slower).
[/quote]

Ok Regarding the phoenixminer 4.2b ... I have 2 mixed rigs- 8 nividia 1070s the other with 8 2070's and 5 -amd rx580's on each ... I updated both rigs amd to 19.1.1 drivers and nvidia drivers to the lastest 419.35 also I installed not just the graphics drivers but the psyx software as well... so far all have run 24+hrs with no problems ... in addition my rtx2070's have become WAY more stable and even on the clock speeds and incresed my hashrate by 20 mhs over miner 4.1 which would regularly freeze both systems... in addition to your post with the 1070's. ... I've experience with the latest nvidia drivers install on my third rig an INCREASE in hashrate by about 2mhs on a 7 nvidia 1070 rig... so this version is MUCH more stable i have been contending with CONSTANT freezes over the past 2 months with these rigs and miner 4.1 .. so far the last 24 hrs not a single issue I would recommend nvidia 1070 people update to the latest driver as well I have windows 10 fully updated to the most current update... fyi .. will let you know if anything happens but so far this is great and my overall hashrate has actually increased and become MUCH more stable on the 2070's and they are not even maxed out on overclock so they could possibly reach 43mhs per card..

Good work Phoneixminer and thanks for the constant developing.

Please take our apologies about the lack of forum activity in the last month. We have our plates full when the new version enters "pre-release limbo" and is time to squeeze out the bugs, so our policy is generally to "block out" the outside world for a few weeks and concentrate on our main job - making PhoenixMiner better.

With that being said - the first beta of the 4.2 is ready. You can download PhoenixMiner 4.2a from here:

https://mega.nz/#F!HAU3WKoR!Z7yCqiDhDg47HYAO1VGB-A  (MEGA)

If you want to check the integrity of the downloaded file, please use the following hashes:

Here are the changes for this release:

  • Added support for dual mining Ethash and Blake2s on Nvidia GPUs
  • Added experimental support for ProgPOW mining of Bitcoin Interest (BCI). Note that the kernels are not optimized and only work on AMD. You must add -coin bci to the command line (or COIN: bci to your epools.txt file) in order to mine BCI.
  • Added support for EthereumStratum/2.0.0 protocol (use -proto 5 if the pool requires it).
  • AMD hardware control code was rewritten, now should be more stable and work on older cards too
  • Added command-line option -fcm to set the way fans are controlled (AMD/Windows only). The possible values are 0 (auto; the default behavior), 1 (use VBIOS/driver), 2 (force custom control of the fans regardless of VBIOS/drivers fan curves, etc). Use -fcm 2 if the  fans are not controlled properly or at all
  • Added support for Radeon VII
  • Added support for AMD drivers up to 19.3.1
  • Added new command-line option -nvkernel to select the old (v1) or new (v2) CUDA kernels. The possible values are 0 (auto; the default), 1 (use the old v1 CUDA kernels from PhoenixMiner 3.5), 2 (use the new v2 kernels, which were introduced with PhoenixMiner 4.0). This was added because there were some complains that the new kernels are running slower on some Nvidia cards. Note that v1 CUDA kernels doesn't support dual mining.
  • Increased the maximum supported DAG epoch to 329. This should be fine for at least a year or so.
  • Added support for direct mining without DAG switching of Yocoin (YOC), Bitcoiin2Gen (B2G), Ethersocial (ESN), Atheios (ATH), and REOSC. See the -coin parameter in Readme.txt for more information.
  • Other small improvements and fixes.

Here is an example command-line for mining BCI (ProgPOW) - be sure to change YourBciWalletAddress with your actual BCI wallet address:
Code:
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool eu-1.pool.bci-server.com:3869 -wal YourBciWalletAddress.Rig1 -coin bci -proto 1

Can report my evga nvidia 2070s are not working with 4.2a keep getting error device kernel image is invalid (300), same error with -nvkernel set to 1 or 2 .. using latest nvidia drivers (417.xx)..

Phoenix, allready 19.2.3 driver realeased and I sure AMD release 19.3.1 version soon. When we can use new version of your miner with support of new drivers versions?
why you would use pm with newest drivers ? you will have the same results in hashrate ... ffs

Not really; they also said that the newest miner is not optimized for newer cards like the nvidia 2070's .. also the new Radeon VII is a beast and im sure they could get over 100mhs with optimized miner configs. I also noticed the newest version is not as stable as 3.5 was I crash regularly, especialyl with my two mixed nvidia/amd rigs.

Hi guys I seem to be having the exact same problem with 2 mix-mining rigs. One of my rigs has run fine for a year up until I switched past version 3.5 of phoenixminer. This rig has 8 1070 and 4 rx580s, and was literally working fine till the 3.5 miner wasnt usable, but it constantly freezes (time is random usually within 24hrs) and a new mining rig with 8 2070s and 5 rx580s (this rig freezes up after a day or two. I made sure my virtual memory was 80-110GB so I dont think its that. But the problem seemed to occur right after the new year and the forced windows 10 updates, which i uninstalled from both. I have another rig with 8 - 1070s that works fine and has been running for weeks under phoenixminer 4.1. But the freezing up problem seems to be maybe a windows issue with phoenixminer also I've has a couple bsod issues throughout the past few weeks as well. The motherboards are the same im using the asrock H110 Pro BTC+ with the latest bios. Any help would be appreciated. Im thinking maybe reinstalling windows and going back to build 1709 instead of 1809. Anyone else with a similar mixed rig experiencing this freezing up problem? I mainly just reboot my system and try again.

Thanks in advance.

I have 3 rigs that all went down at the same time late last night it seems the correlation between all three is a forced windows definition update went through on all three and now they all get that memory error 77 and 700 now I scoured the internet and it seems you cannot uninstall the definition updates. Any help would be appreciated

As of December many of these projects have popped up, starting to think it is an organize scam by someone in china or NK? most of these coins have extremely high value and high rewards and difficulty is extremely high for mining. Also most if not all use either scrypt or x11 algos- probably for asic exploitment. I'm sure money can be made somehow but be careful you don't want the rug to be pulled from under your feet and catch you by surprise.  Wink

Here is a list of the coins I have found to be similar, also all of them have anonymous teams and won't answer directly why.

bulwark
saga coin
galactrum ore
goabyte
ignition coin
numus coin
polis coin
sparks coin

Not sure about the rest but i mine Galactrum and its Lyra 2v2 asic-resistant so not entirely correct on your comment.. i do like mining it and it seems similiar to dash and their wallet is really actually alot more in-depth than dashes wallet and it's actually nice to mine for a day and see some results unlike eth where you wait for days to see .05 eth show up... and as the difficulty continues to explode with all the housewives of orange county getting up miners in eth and bitcoin you will see more alternatives im sure..

I have two questions... does the new wallet just autoupdate over the old wallet? And secondly regarding the difficulty setting in ccminer 2.2 the difficulty setting is in fact not -d that is devices setting ..the difficulty setting is -f ... and what setting should i set this at diff setting of 64 seems way to high for my one 1060 6gb.. thanks
