Lost about $55,000 USD in this fiasco. I'm still stunned FC robbed all the shareholders when he had a decent chip ready to self-mine back to profitability and he takes a runner? WTF?
What about this other David Fan guy that "took-over" asicminer, not a peep from him in this forum? Ugh.
Why do AMHASH people get crumbs and asicminer shareholders get total silence + zero btc when asicminer has/had? fat wallets filled with BTC?
I trusted FC, that's what hurts the most.

So with FC gone and all, is there any way left to transfer direct shares to havelock or other persons? If nobody can transfer shares out then asicminer officially enters scam territory.  Angry

Gen3 had a chance. Wasn't expecting FC to disappear.  Cry
self-mining? DataTank immersion cooling? 60p of chips (40% of the network @ the time) just sitting on shelves? What the heck happened to those 60p?
dividends a distant dream?

It was the moon or zero. Zero it is. So sad.

I made a graph of asicminer stock in USD prices. I'm mystified at the affect USD/BTC price has on asicminer stock. Certainly cheap shares at the moment.
Charts based on historical data from btct, havelock and bitcoinwisdom. Time not to scale, data is approximate. Related chart and raw data @ http://imgur.com/a/EW74v#0

Edit:
Here's a google doc by request for the asicminer/USD chart. If anyone has past data going back to IPO feel free to add. Hoping for blast off!

Guys stop trying to push the price one way or another.
All scenarios for AM are possible!

AM might develop a good chip and win back decent network share
or AM might not develop a competitive chip and forfeit that goal.

The planned exchange platform can be something huge
or bitcoin's built-in exchange might kill that venture as well.

We simply don't know and we learned that FC won't say a word in advance.
Thus the value of this venture can be anything. From null to the moon.

To better visualize the concept of zero value recall how promising burnside's btct.co looked like. Especially after he started to legalize all aspects of the exchange.
But the day came when everything collapsed to near zero value in an instant. I hope that won't happen!

Think also about how would you feel in his shoes. Having all those earned bitcoins in his wallets. It would be itchy to go on some adventuring. Maybe even going to the moon literally.

Thank you for some much needed grounding in this thread. AM certainly is a null to da moon situation. I trust FC and burnside who just sent me the bitcoin leftover dust on btct, what a solid. Take a deep breath everyone. Panic holding indeed.

*sigh*
Well support FINALLY got back to me with this gem:
"After an internal risk review we have decided to not lift the Bitcoin hold on your account. We recommend selling Bitcoins and withdrawing USD instead - there is no hold on USD withdrawals on your account.
Looks like you purchased your Bitcoins at $90 and given the current price you will make a good profit as well."

WTF !? EPIC FAIL !
AVOID CAMPBX.
Coinbase lvl2 in a few more days so I will be selling my campbx coins because I HAVE TO and then re-buy them on coinbase. At least I'll be able to get my money back out, but I wanted bitcoins since they are a bitcoin exchange!

I filed a complaint with BBB regarding this bogus "90 day hold" on withdrawing my purchased bitcoins: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=272161.0
It has been over a month and support continues to ignore me.
Stay far far away from campbx!

I got hit with a 90 day hold on withdrawing my purchased bitcoin. No explanation given, no support available, no way to contact them. If they don't release my coins after this bogus 90 day hold I will be contacting the authorities and my lawyer. I will not be using them ever again. Extremely displeased that they won't communicate with me as a KYC verified customer who's done over 20k worth of business through them. I'm in US so coinbase is really the only option left for now.

I got a reply from support after a week or so on August 6th "Your account was locked due to recently failed Bitcoin transfers. You may need to reverify your account. Please give us the best phone number to contact you." I gave them my number 10 minutes after they asked for it, and I have no idea what failed transfers they are talking about. Since then I have not heard anything at all from support. I even filed a new ticket August 8th in hopes to generate attention but they've completely ignored that one even up till now. I would recommend people stay away from campbx because they have NO support if issues arise, this is ridiculous that they can hold my coins for no reason and won't even talk to a KYC verified customer. I have no way to communicate with them. I suppose I'll have to sell my coins and re-buy them on coinbase so I can actually use them. Beware of campbx!

Campbx 90 day hold

Campbx put a 90 day hold on withdrawing my bitcoins. Support is not responding to my tickets. Has anybody had this happen to them? Campbx doesn't have a support phone number and emailing them isn't helping either. They say something about a 31 day hold for Dwolla, but nothing about a 90 hold. I have a load of coins stuck there that I want to use to invest in asicminer. I've had no trouble with campbx, up till now. They need to hire some more support people to respond to tickets. This issue has lasted almost 2 weeks already.  Cry
