So here is what I did just in case someone else has the problem. I opened the minexcoin file and deleted everything but the wallet.dat file. I then downloaded the the zip file and ran the minexqt.exe file. The wallet opened, synced, and my coins where in the wallet.

So I downloaded the new wallet imported the wallet.dat file from my old wallet on my computer. About 4 hours later the wallet final finished synchronizing. So the wallet looks good however no coins. I really thought I would get this too work if anyone has any ideas please let me now.

Do I need to import them again or send them to myself through the wallet.

By the way thanks for helping me out atleast Ive gotten this far.

Hi just wanted to add something to my post. I was reading about recovering the wallet and it says to look for the Wallet.dat file.
Can anyone please tell me were it is I checked the app data like it says however its not here. Is their another place it could be. I'm so confused because I thought I did it right and now I can not find the file. Im using windows 64x.

I have the minexcoin-qt that I used before but it is almost like it was never actually loaded but it had to be because I was able to log in to the Mine bank site.

Please any help will be greatly appreciated.

I tried to find a fix here however I do not know what to do and I do not want to loose my coins. I just want to put them in the minexcoin bank for parking or put them on the exchange. Before I buy some I need to fix this first. Please let me know what I can do. If you came out with a new wallet that could be the problem. I just want to try parking. I have no trouble logging in to the different sites because I set them up before, I just can not get the wallet to work. Ive looked here to find a solution but no luck.

Is the nexus site working. Just wondering I tried and it said it did not exist. Then I finally got to the sign up page and it just kept cancelling when I tried to sign up.

Just took a look at a new coin coming out. It sounds like a good idea however Im not real versed in ICOs or TGEs and would love for anyone to take a look and let me now. I hope this one works out because Im really thinking of putting some funds here.

So I parked 13.37 xcoins in 12 parking spots 10 daily spots and 2 weekly. It went good and it was easy however I did notice it didnt charge me a fee to park. Not sure if its set up this way since its a test but all is good tomorrow I will check things out and see how things go.

I agree that if ETH went to zero it would cause BTC to rise. The reason I say this is because the amount of money currently in ETH. Wouldnt people see the drop and just switch over to BTC or perhaps they would wait and buy ETH at the bottom. I certainly hope this does not happen because Im new to the crypto world and the worst thing I see about the whole process is the fact the price fluctuates too much. As a result real investors are probably rethinking about investing. Oh well Im a newbie what do I know.

I hope everyone is correct about LTC. Ive been watching it for a few years and it only seems to be getting netter. I'm new to the scene but it has certainly improved in the last year. What really bothers me is how each coin has a connection. If BTC goes down nearly all the altcoins follow. I just do not understand why. If supply and demand is different for each coin. Maybe its the way they are all built on the BTC blockchain. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Ive been reading a lot over the past year about the different coins and their uses. From a person who has no IT background I find the process of using, buying, spending, trading, and just understanding the entire crypto world complicated. Why so many different coins? Why not just use fiat currency? What is the benefit? Why 100 different wallets? Why a transaction takes so long? What about security, ponzi, and theft?  I just read about Decred. Too complicated for me to fully understand.

In my opinion before the average person decides to entire the crypto coin world things must be made simpler.

Just my opinion and I hope that its not just me. Does anyone have any Idea when things might change?

Just had a question. Ive been working on some ideas that may or may not work with bitcoin and other coins. The problem is I do not know who to contact to suggest these ideas. I'm just a average Joe with no programming exp. and one particular idea I have will really improve how people send and receive things over the block chain. Please if anyone could possible point me in the right direction with someone who can discuss my ideas I know they will be a great help to bitcoins future.
