How many of you think about using crypto for retirement?
by
Kara Orrico

Countries around the world keep on raising the retirement age because (according to the official sources) the weight of the financial burden is growing as life expectancy continues to improve.

Two people can have the same job and do the exact same amount of work, but one gets to enjoy their retirement longer than another simply because they were born before the other.

Ofc, many of us are here because we more or less lost faith in the current financial system. So those of you who thought about using crypto for retirement, do you have a plan/strategy for it at the moment? If not, when do you think it's the best time to come up with one?

Why is bitcoin the best way to build wealth?
by
Kara Orrico

Why should new investors choose to invest in bitcoin as the best way to build wealth?

Using the common comparison of gold which is worth 10 trillion, a single bitcoin should have the value of $476,190 (because there are 21 million BTC and 10 Trillion/21 million = $476k). We will have mined all the bitcoin by 2140 (https://www.investopedia.com/tech/what-happens-bitcoin-after-21-million-mined/).

I have .25 of a bitcoin now meaning if it reaches the full value and I don't invest anymore i would have $119,047 (.25 of $476,190). Lets say it reaches half its value ($238,095) meaning i would have $59,523.

I understand its a hedge against inflation but I would be able to make way more than $59k even factoring in inflation by the time it takes BTC to reach the value. I also understand people who invested early so their ROI is greater but why would it make sense for people like me to continue directing money into bitcoin instead of other higher yield investments? I get that the value isn't necessarily capped at $476k but isn't that only if more and more BTC get out of circulation?

Please let me know if my numbers are wrong or what I'm missing.

How do we not run out if bitcoin eventually?
by
Kara Orrico

We've got Michael Saylor hoarding

We've got millions of people losing their keys

We've got guys like John McAfee dying, maybe with thousands of coins locked up forever

How does this not end up where a very small group of whales own the majority of coins and the rest own a miniscule amount of sats, and/or progressively more and more get lost throughout time?

Bitcoin is 12 years old and some say 6 million coins are lost at a guess.. The fact they are gone forever, to me suggests that this cannot be 'the future of money', as more and more will continue to be lost each year.

Re: Take care of your health

First time I had chest pains, I woke up at 3 in the morning thinking I was having a heart attack. Pain to the left of my sternum going all the way from my front to my back. First time I had chest pain that actually felt like it was inside my body. I was panicking and trying to get out of bed but couldn't because of the pain. Ended up dragging myself out of bed sideways and collapsing on the floor.

The thing was, as soon as I was upright, the pain went away completely. I sat upright on the floor breathing properly again, then tried to go to bed again after about 15 mins. Pain returns with avengeance. It was only happening when my body was vertical. I figured it wasn't a heart attack, so I spent the rest of the night sleeping upright in a lounge chair.

It was a bad case of costochondritis (from stress and overwork) so much that one of my ribs had slightly dislocated.

Still, it was enough to scare me into getting healthier.

Eat breakfast! Eat breakfast! Eat breakfast! The important thing is said three times. You may have seen this one in many places. This is precisely because it is important, so you must follow it. Even if you don't take the initiative to lose weight, you will not gain weight if you insist on eating breakfast every day.

Once you start to learn a knowledge, first check your own level and then take the initiative to learn. Before you start learning, you must first have an understanding of what you are learning and your own strength, and then weigh them. Once you are clear, you can better plan and determine the progress of your study. Also, when accepting new information and knowledge, you must actively display your own subjective initiative. When you take the initiative to learn, you will be more creative.

Habitual complaints, many people encounter difficulties, always complaining in consciousness. As long as a problem occurs, it is all the environment's fault, and it is still a strange era. Freud has an effect called [degradation] effect, refers to the face of the problem, due to the unknown, the unknown process, we will generate fear, and then retreat to your comfort zone. This effect is used here, it is very good explanation why everyone will complain, because if you don't push your responsibility to others, you mean that you need to make changes, and change is unknown, or shrinking in your own comfortable area. some.
