Re: Thinking about sell? Or invest more?
by
Karlblaise1
on 22/12/2018, 21:45:35 UTC
In this bearish market, it makes little sense to sell off coins at lost values.

The right thing can be calculated trading; to ensure profitability against other coins.

The right thing to do now for non traders is to invest more and hope that your investments appreciates within a some time.

Re: Have I joined at the wrong time?
by
Karlblaise1
on 22/12/2018, 21:30:17 UTC
There is no time that is the wrong time.
Cryptocurrency is a seasonal stuff, and this is the right time to join and grow with the system.

My question:

-  Do you prefer owning a coin when the value is worth 2USD and watch it grow to 50USD
or own it when it is worth 50USD, and watch it plummet to 2USD.

If the first option is your desire, then; this is the right time to join else, wait till the bull run comes.

Re: DO WE NEED TO REGULATE ICOs?
by
Karlblaise1
on 22/12/2018, 21:25:14 UTC
I'd say a big yes to the regulation of ICO's

-  With proper regulation; people behind scam projects will easily be apprehended and made to vomit all that they have stolen from the public

-  With proper regulation, there will be an enhanced confidence in the system; creating investment drive into the crypto system hence; increased capitalization and stable market

-   With proper regulation, Bounty hunters will not be subjected to such inhumane treatment occasionally meted out to them by some ICO projects

-  With Proper regulations; the cryptocurrency community will be cheat free

- With proper regulation; Cyber attacks and hacking will be of no need as the stolen funds can easily be traced.

so i'd say; some proper regulations be adopted.

Re: Do you still believe and invest in ICOs? Why?
by
Karlblaise1
on 22/12/2018, 21:14:20 UTC
Initial Coin Offering (ICO's) are a very wonderful concept; but some miscreants have taken advantage of the system to rip some people of their hard earned money.

This is not enough reason to ignore the platform that has introduced life changing innovations, and provided millions of dollars as proceeds to investors.

I will suggest that some degree of regulations to checkmate these miscreants be introduced.
I don't see such a sensitive platform devoid of abuse if there isn't one.

Re: Is KYC For Bounty Hunters Good? Lets Share Our Views!
by
Karlblaise1
on 22/12/2018, 21:01:01 UTC
Asking bounty hunters to observe the KYC obligations is just like engaging a marketing agency to help market your product, and subject them to series of tasks before paying them their money.

I believe Cryptocurrency community is still evolving; but i foresee a future where bounty hunters gets paid on the shortlist of their work.

KYC for bounty hunters is purely a delay tactics in making payment.
That should be limited to the investors.

ON THE OTHER HAND
The reason can be security conscious; to help in tracking stolen coins. But that doesn't imply that bounty hunters should be subjected to that else; pay them in USD, Ether, BTC or other currencies.

Waves will continue to be waves; while Ethereum remains ethereum.
There's no way a coin replaces another on exchanges; so let's desist from getting some newbies confused.

Going by your suggestion;
what will you say when Ethereum starts soaring greatly again?

Ethereum will always be Ethereum

Re: How to protect your altcoin
by
Karlblaise1
on 22/12/2018, 20:48:47 UTC
The essence of the protection has to deal with safeguarding your private key, and there are two basic ways of doing that;

COLD STORAGE: Which is the art of keeping your private key offline; possibly storing it in word, PDF or even in hard copies

HOT STORAGE: More like what you get with the likes of Metamask; etc.
It involves accessing your wallet address with the private keys, on an online platform.
This mode of storage is vulnerable to cyber attacks hence; i'll advice you stick with cold storage for your main account, and transfer other coins stored online to the ones offline; for your own safety.

Re: will bitcoin give surprise, ??

let's get it straight;
cryptocurrencies are really very volatile; with bitcoin been relatively, the most stable amongst them all.

Bad as it may seem; Bitcoin will definitely appreciate with time; but i don't see it doing well comparably to last year.

let's be hopeful and have faith.
Crypto market will definitely bounce back; and when it does; only those prepared for it will benefit immensely.

TIP:
Don't FUD and sell off your coin in desperation or fear; if you'll do, engage your cryptocurrency trades, constructively.

Re: How many people are still here to hunt bounty?
by
Karlblaise1
on 22/12/2018, 20:22:50 UTC
This seems to be the right period to bounty hunt; when the revenue will be of high value, going by the fewer number of people, involved.

The exchange rate is also at the lowest rate; and do have the tendency to grow with Ethereum and other coins; when they start appreciating.

The lower turn up will also make the project owners to accord the appropriate decorum in the treatment of bounty hunters.

If you're a bounty hunter;

believe, work hard and know that the future is bright.

christmass greetings to we all

Re: WHAT TO DO ABOUT 2019?
by
Karlblaise1
on 22/12/2018, 20:14:16 UTC
it becomes an uphill task trying to predict the cryptocurrency performance for next year, when several predictions for the past year has gone the opposite.

I think we should keep our hopes, not too high; and be strategic in our dealings.

If you have a coin that have lost so much value, you may do well to leave it to appreciate or engage in crypto trading.

While the market is at it's lowest ebb; lets do the best we can and believe things will turn around with time.

Re: New Beginning and a Bright Future
by
Karlblaise1
on 14/12/2018, 22:34:40 UTC
There has been several national currencies that has gone from a viable currency to a legal tender that has resorted into a shitcoin equivalent. Does that make the currency to cease?

No.

What such nations needs to do is to assemble a strong economic team to work around, improving the value of such currencies.

Cryptocurrency is not very different in this regard.
Not withstanding how long this bearish run takes, if we don't put in the right measure to address the pending issues, not much will change.

One positives i want us all to take home is that; cryptocurrency has really come to stay. It's only a matter of time and getting the parameters right; then there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon?
by
Karlblaise1
on 14/12/2018, 22:24:13 UTC
cryptocurrency activities are not stereotyped.
some will see reasons to sell, while others will see alternative reasons to buy.

For instance;
You saw a viable coin that you believe will appreciate in value on the short run.
That's one signal that the coins in your possessions are not showing; what do you do?

sell off the one in your possession for the viable option.

Other people may sell for varying reasons like FUD; etc. One thing is for sure; there will always be some people selling while others are buying. That's what makes cryptocurrency and exchanges unique.

Re: next trend in blockchain/crypto??
by
Karlblaise1
on 14/12/2018, 22:14:05 UTC
I believe there'll be greater adoption of blockchain technology owing to the vast possibility attached to them compared to that of the contemporary technology. With this drive; we'll see exchange of views that will lead to innovations in the cryptosphere.

These innovations will result into an increased regulation of most aspect of the platform; which will bring about trust, belief and increased investments from the Fiat world. This i see as a viable trend for the growth of the crypto community.

This is no longer funny,
The whole scenario seems to be going beyond the known parameters which ethereum appears to be getting right.
Is there something here that we don't seem to know?

Though am not despaired; cryptocurrency will bounce back.
watch out for that next year.

Re: To all bounty hunters around the world, you'll need to see this
by
Karlblaise1
on 17/11/2018, 13:33:56 UTC
Bounty hunting is a professional job, that can be likened to the marketing activities of Google and other media applications.
The only difference is that bounty hunters put in much efforts in the discharge of their duty, compared to Google that already have a way of reaching out to many technologically.

Again, bounty hunters collects lower pay compared to Google, and i think this aspect is where project owners are supposed to appreciate them the more.

Coming to one of your point, how much are project owners willing to pay their bounty managers?
Some bounty hunters makes so much money in varied projects that they dont want to be tied down to a monotonous duty.

to the article;
bounty hunters have seen and are right in their choice of duty.

I think we need to preach a message that necessitates the apreciation of those that takes part in these.

Thanks

Re: Do you believe in ETH?
by
Karlblaise1
on 17/11/2018, 13:25:37 UTC
Not believing in Ethereum is as good as saying; Not believing in cryptocurrency.
When you are talking about cryptocurrencies, over a thousand of them are built on the Ethereum blockchain.
Conducting an inquiry into Cryptocurrency, and Ethereum in particular; you'll get to discover that despite the success that Ethereum has registered; it has not relented on it's laurels.
They're working round the clock to make things better, technologically and otherwise.
Ever heard about the MEWconnect? well, i'm waiting for the Android version.

My answer?
There are over a hundred reasons for me to believe, rather than doubt Ether

What you stated is the obvious.
Have you heard of the MEWconnect and lots of other Ethereum innovations?
This is the right time to invest in Ethereum.

Going by your comment, Ethereum hosts over 70% of the ICO's in the Cryptosphere.
No other blockchain project comes close to that.

So who are you to dispute Ethereum Position as the King? Grin
Ethereum; the King of all ICO's Cool

Re: Why Most ICO's are SCAM ?
by
Karlblaise1
on 17/11/2018, 13:08:35 UTC
You stated the obvious, but the reason why it was so can easily be tied to people's need to make money fast.

Trying to make money fast is what results in people not been able to take the pain in going through the white paper and business model critically. There is even the need of conducting checks on the projects social media, reaching out to verify the legitimacy of the teams and many more as may have been listed.

With the urge to speed up profitability drive, without the accompanying meticulous approach; Scam projects will keep thriving.

My advice:
Engage in thorough research and fact findings of the projects, to get rid of scam projects.

There are many challenge that impacts negatively on cryptocurrencies.
While we lay blame on these guys; let's try and ask ourselves many questions like: Where are most of the funds raised via ICO's kept.
Cryptocurrencies were supposed to be cash backed yet; some ICO project organizers will prefer to stash most of these funds in their Fiat based bank accounts.

This is quite bad and needs to be checked.
Nevertheless; we expect a befitting and joyful news in the cryptosphere.
Crypto enthusiasts will smile again.
