Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin?
by

As for me the biggest disadvantage looks like If your credit card is stolen or somebody hacks into your bank account there is a good chance you will not lose any money as banks will fix your balance. Even cash can be potentially recovered if the police acts fast. But with Bitcoin if you lose it you lost it for good. There is no mechanism to recover stolen or lost Bitcoins. If somebody hacks into your wallet where you store your Bitcoins you lost them for good. The best way to store your Bitcoins is on disk that is disconnected from the internet. Cry

Re: How the future of bitcoin will look like
by

I think in the future Bitcoin will be accepted by world governments because Bitcoin is more and more popular on international bulletin boards and many people will know about Bitcoin. I see people in my country moving to Bitcoin more and it is a good signal to invest in Bitcoin right now.
You're right.Bitcoin has been so in demand with most of the crowd. It's popularity seems to overpower the other digital currencies.I see more and more users of bitcoin for the coming years. And i believe that making it as the world's currency few years from now will make us very proud of bitcoin. It needs to be celebrated soon.

Absolutely agree! And such forums and the Internet at all accelerate this process Cool

Re: August 1, Bitcoin will Ends?

Ultimately, the economic majority along with miners will decide where bitcoin should head. If UASF fails perhaps bitcoin would continue to be as it is now but we're likely seeing a SegWit activation either way. Hopefully no major chain split will occur because an "added value" scenario like ETC with ETH could me more damaging in bitcoin's case.

Activation of SegWit will improve or worsen the situation?

Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin?
by

Never heard one also that says that he hate bitcoin.
I say let them be. If they put hatred into bitcoin that is nothing. Putting hatred on the user is the harder part. I can't just ignore that and would explain myself entirely until I have proven to why he should not hate me because I am just a user who is trying to profit from a new technology.
If they want to be left behind about the technology then I dont care. I will still use it and be updated.

Hate arises from lack of information. I think we should to tell such people about different forums like this.

For bitcoin, you still need to improve the speed of operations and make it possible to use it anywhere in the world. While it will be only an additional currency.

Maybe ATMs need more developing? They will greatly facilitate Bitcoin operations Roll Eyes

Re: I've decided to share my knowledge and would greatly appreciate your thoughts

I actually appreciate the content and even the spirit of giving back to the society that you are exhibiting. However, my concern is wanting to know how you intend to reach out to those who have no access to the information currently because every one here would have one way or the other knows about the information you are trying to pass across which means it will add only a little value to us compared to someone who has not been involved in bitcoin at all.

Nice thread, this could be a great help for those newcomers in this community because not all people who came here already know how is it working as well as how to get started with it . But it will be much better if you are going to make a post regarding to this information on social media flatforms, blogs, etc. As there are many people out there who didn't know it yet but they could probably be interested with it though, depending on how you introduce it Grin by the way, keep on posting more informative threads . Thanks .

You both are completely correct.

Initially, I'm starting with the existing crypto communities, specifically those who are relatively new to them.

Once I've built up a reasonable audience, and my SEO game is on point, I'll start to venture out into more traditional communities, social media etc.

I want to have a reasonable base of content before I start to aggressively pursue that though.

I am open to any any all suggestions you might have though, so please do share  Cool

Aggressively pursue?? What do you mean?  Huh Sad Shocked

First of all the bank do not accept bitcoin at all and if any time when they start to adopt bitcoin ans will accept it then they will have the same rate which they have for fiat or dollar etc as it is determined by the bank administration according to their bank expenditures.

Maybe they will accept it under the pressure of most people who use Bitcoin?  Undecided

Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin
by

on 23/06/2017, 22:32:26 UTC
I think there is no hotel available that accepting bitcoin because it is not that popular currency and most of the hotels doesn't even understand what is bitcoin and how it works so the possibility for accepting bitcoin is not that high yet and it will take time to be able to see a hotel that accepting bitcoin on their business.

I think if hotel get paid in bitcoins, they will have opportunities to accumulate it and have more profit in the future. Cool

Of course, it will rise!
Bitcoin is not going to supplant governments or bring down the banks. But as the hype around the digital currency subsides, banks and entrepreneurs are trying to use bitcoin in ways that could revolutionise the banking industry. Tongue

I think Bitcoin will be success in the future also, bit the buying process of Bitcoins have to be made much more simpler than it is at present. All indications point that the process will get more streamlined, so buying bitcoins will be an easy task. Huh
