corruption continues to occur, destroying many countries that should be advanced
I’m curious—which country do you think would be super-advanced today if it weren’t for corruption?
Every country. Even those rich countries have a lot of corruption and if they didn’t have any corruption they could be richer I am sure. My country for example would be a lot better if the government worked efficiently the way that it should and we took less time cleaning up the mess politicians are always leaving behind.

Maybe one good example that a country that really go in full advance mood is Singapore in Asia. In the early 2000's I remember that they don't have a workforce so they open in specially in the IT industry hiring a lot of immigrants.

And under the direction of Lee Kuan Yew, he turn this fishing village to one of the best countries right now. And for sure, there could be no corruption under his government that's why he was able to turn his country of what it is today.

There could also be some countries in Europe that is far more advance right now, peace and quiet, crime rates are down because their government is not corrupt.

Good for you mate, I finally won the first price in the last game with that 696x. Although there is some tough competition as usual as there are entries that hit 500x. But I guess luck is on my side winning this week's tournament.
If so - then I really hope that this will be a lucky week for you. You win a multiplier of 696x - that seems rare and it's certainly a lucky win. I've never had that much - of course because I don't play slots much, whether it's tournaments or regular games.

But for you - may this be your lucky week, mate.

And it just shows the luck really play a big roll in slot game competitions. I have seen those who hit even close to 1000x but didn't win the competition as others have hit higher. And then some who might be along that like 500x but good enough as others didn't have that luck to hit a big multiplier.

So congrats to those who are that lucky for this weeks competition. As new one opens up, let's see those familiar names trying to beat each other.

In any case for those sports bettors out there, it's Monday so just check out this one:

Do you believe someone who claims they have a "working method" to win in sports betting?

As we often see, there are a lot of accounts, usually newbies, claiming they have a winning method in sports betting. Some even brag about having an 80% (or higher) success rate.

At first impression,  do you believe something like that actually exists?
Or is it just another tactic to scam people?

I'm not here to judge those people claiming it, since they’re not officially proven scammers. I just want to know your honest first impression about this.

No, I don't believed that this thing exists, even if you look at those free tips on many sporting bet websites, the highest that I can see is somewhere along 60% winning percentage. So it's obvious that this accounts really are here to scam sports bettors. But we are smart though, I mean we can smell scammers from afar that's why they don't succeed here in our community.

For sure you have seen some trading app bot before around 2018 that claims to give a good profits. But when they are tested here, majority of them failed and so their account and that trading app was exposed and I think we can compare that to this newbies who claim to have a working method.

Struff is a tough opponent though and Tsitsipas nay not be fully fit -yet-. Tsitsipas
has already been broken in the first set. looking at the odds now its Struff who is favourite
@ 1.52, Tsitsipas 2.48, maybe three sets here!

Tsitsipas came and win the game, and you are right, it was a 3 set win by him. He lost the first set and then make a huge comeback in the last 2. Tsitsipas will be facing Musetti next in round of 32.

Djokovic has just started against Arnaldi, odds here are Arnaldi 3.16 v 1.44 Djokovic.
This has the potential to go 3 sets too, under/over 23.5 @ 1.80

It's very unfortunate that Djokovic lost the game here, 6-3, 6-4, probably just another off-night from him. And with that, Arnaldi advances.

Zverev is down 5-1 against Davidovich right now, So the top seed Zeverev is in trouble right and obviously if he can't get things going then this is the biggest upset of the tournament.

Re: [POLL] BOXING: Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn (26th April 2025)
by

on 27/04/2025, 11:17:20 UTC
I don't think that the rematch will be different though, Conor Benn should stay at 147 lbs or even 154 lbs. But fighting at middleweight doesn't make sense at all. Of course, this has been like decades in the making starting with their father.

But they are in a different weight class and so it's hard for the smaller Conor Benn to win. Although leading up to the fight, Eubank Sr was not involved, but he was there to witnessed his son and so that is one story of the night at they united again. And so it's just a question if their issues has been settled because of this fight.

Re: Can BTC break through $95,000 resistance this week ?
by
Kemarit
on 26/04/2025, 21:44:39 UTC
Following Bitcoin price, since April 22 we’ve seen it fluctuate between $91500 and $94500 and many are monitoring its price movement. Traders are uncertain and finding it difficult to predict its next major price action. Personally, i keep thinking if the price consolidation will end this week and hopefully we see a break through above $95k.

What’s your opinion, do you think it will pass above the current resistance zone of $95,000 in a few days or not ?
Getting an accurate prediction of the price of Bitcoin is undeniably impossible at this time, it stayed around $80/85k for a long time before it increased to $90/94k so from my own speculation I think it will stay around $90/94k for a while before it will increase again to $95/98k. I may be wrong because it's just a mere speculation.

There were time as well that we're in the $76,000 price range and before the Trump winning the election, the price seems to be stagnant and no movement at $60,000. So I think it's pretty obvious that it's hard to get any accurate prediction as everyone can make their guesses as to where the price will be.

But for us, we always wanted to see a positive movement, so do hope that the resistance price will be broken. But it's another thing to maintain that price as there could be positions that are going to be liquidated at $95,000 and if that happens, the price is going to go down again.

Re: Always think positive
by
Kemarit
on 26/04/2025, 21:11:25 UTC

There’s this “always think positive” mindset when I’m gambling... but honestly, the results aren’t always positive.
Sometimes, because of that positive thinking, I get overconfident.

Have you ever been in that situation too?

This could be another superstitious belief or a gamblers fallacy that being positive might help you win, when it fact it will not, and that's why there are games that are based on pure luck because you don't have control over the results.

So even if you go 100% being positive on the next spin for example, it won't affect the result, it's good to be positive, so that somewhat we have something to lean on but in any case the result is going to be bad. I guess just play and have fun and maybe if you get lucky and not greedy, at the end of your gambling session then you might have a good money in your wallet.

Re: Monitoring the market

The price of Bitcoin goes up when people least expect it. And it moves down when mainstream are expecting it to blast off. It requires more of patience

That is the nature of Bitcoin, it's unpredictable and no can really see where it's going to be and that's why there are no so called experts in this market. For sure there are tools that speculators used, and it's called technical analysis.

But still, it is not a exact science and as the market is open every day in a 24 x 7 basis, it is bound to change very frequent that the analysis is going to be invalidated. As for patience, it's the key here and that's why the advise is to really look at the bigger picture and invest at least for one whole cycle.

EALA vs  SWIATEK,

Number  72 vs Number 2 of the World Tennis is now playing  each other for the round of 64 in the WTA.
Current score 5-4 in favor of EALA, it waqs 5-2 before the 8 straight points of Swiatek.
Eala seems having a hard time now with her right Leg, i hope im wrong, routing for her.
Looks like we’re going to lose this one. She won the first set but struggled in the second, and now it’s looking like an easy win for Swiatek in the third set. I lost my bet on this match, but that’s okay - it was also my way of showing support.

Time to sleep now, just a bit of a waste since I stayed up late for this.  Cry

Yeah, I thought that Eala might repeat her performance against Swiatek as she won the first set and everyone was so pump up. But perhaps this want separates Swiatek as she has more experience and perhaps really gain a lot for their first match as she also had to tap to her mentality.

Still too early as who will be going into the next round. We haven't heard any top seeds going down yet. Next is round of 64, familiar names in mens like Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz and Fils and Medvedev are going to play.

I have theory about how Eala made a surprise entry into "the big time" and how
everyone was so excited about her.

She caught a lot of players off guard and they didnt quite know how to play against
her but her game is known now, the top players know what they have to do.

Probably, if every one is caught off guard with her performance and now they are ready for it. So I guess everything still rest on Alex though, she shouldn't have that kind of mindset. Instead she should focus more on improving and not be affected on what is going on around her or what other players is thinking of her game.

Tsitsipas is playing against Struff currently, still early 1-1 very hard to predict as Tsitsipas is very inconsistent.

But Tsitsipas is a huge favorite in this fight and so he might go thru and win against Struff.

Re: Are we trying to outsmart luck?
by

on 26/04/2025, 11:33:39 UTC
If you're confident you'll win in gambling… then why are you playing a game of luck?

Have we ever stopped to think that even though we know it's luck-based, we're still out here trying to build strategies to win consistently? Isn't that kind of pointless?

It’s like we’re fooling ourselves, trying to fish on the road, when we already know there’s no fish there.

No one can outsmart luck and it's not about the confidence of winning, it's more of the chase of it and then have some fun as well. It's pointless if you think that you will always win, guaranteed because that will not be the case. There will be games that you will lose big money, and then games that you might not be confident and suddenly you hit the jackpot.

It's more of that you want to try and see how it goes for you. And probably that's one reason why there are lot of slot machine players, that is willing to test their luck. Also for sure you have heard about this powerful emotions - Hope.

How about on roulette wheels?

There are this thought as we have seen it work before for a group of people to find a bias roulette wheel and won big money until they got busted. But that was before, I think casinos have adjusted already with this myth and so they interchange roulette wheels so that you can't find any flaws on them and take advantage.

Or probably have measured everything perfectly that the wheels are really balance and you can't find any biases.

@Dave1. Also the brother of the crying Devin Haney heheheh. There was a video where he was crying and he was declaring that Allah told him King Ry will be testing positive for steroids heheeh. Bill Haney cried, Devin Haney cried, the little brother of Devin cried. This is head shaking, the crying Haneys hehe.

There is only 1 more week before we will witness King Ry's knockout of Rolly Romero! I am very much excited for this. The victory will certainly open different roadmaps for King Ry. I speculate that we might witness negotiations for King Ry vs. the scammer Tank before the crying Haneys.

I haven't seen that video, but if ever this is true, then the Haney's can't really accept that they have been defeated by Ryan Garcia. Perhaps it's the price within their family that they think that their own Devin Haney is great and that's what Allah might have told them or that Ryan will be caught with steroids.

Nevertheless, if they really wanted to get revenge then this is the right time, Ryan winning over Romero as he is the huge favorite. Same with Devin against Ramirez. So that they will setup everything for a rematch, Ryan being clean and then Devin thinking of his revenge.

I don't know if it is advisable for Manny to make a comeback fight. I mean what will he be accomplishing for that? And if ever he wins, is he willing to defend it to other champion who I think will beat him like Ennis. As much as we love Manny, I think it's really time to call it quits and not think of a comeback.

He still has a lot of money, traveling abroad and who knows, if he win as Senator again in the Republic of the Philippines then he should focus on his mandate as he was elected by the people. He still holds the record that it's hard to break winning 8 divisional belt and when he beats Thurman, he become the oldest Welterweight champion.

Re: Navarrete vs Suarez WBO World Junior Lightweight Championship May 10 2025
by
Kemarit
on 24/04/2025, 22:36:10 UTC

As for Suarez, another late bloomer as what we call, and at that age, maybe he could be just as good as in his last fight. But it's a different fighter that he is facing here as from what we know, this style of overwhelming and being a brawler is really a tough matchup for anyone.
I've also checked Suarez's boxing record to see a prominent name in his list, but I failed to see one. It's very likely that Suarez is going to lose the match; it's a big mismatch for me.
The only consolation is Suarez is undefeated, but he will need to summon all the luck in the world to score an upset, as Navarrete is the kind of guy who loves to attack and throw everything but the kitchen sink.

https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/851286

Yeah, we don't want to say it, but maybe if luck plays here, then he could pull the biggest upset of his career. Of course he should train very hard here and not think that he has a good opponent in front of him. And he should be proud of himself to having given or shall I say earn the shot to fight the champion.

I love how you describe Navarette, but yeah, he loves to do that, he will go brawl for as long as he can, throw everything he got from the very first round. And that's what fans love him, he is the typical Mexican boxer that is not going to play defense but will go and fight until the bell rings.

Right now we're trading above $91k, which is great to see after a prolonged period of stagnation, but it's a bit too soon to call it a breakaway. If it carries on moving up for another 2-3 days, or at least if the price manages to stay above the $90k, that would be a sign that the bull run in this cycle is not yet over.

Yes, I still remember that you question whether we are in the bull run or not, so I guess you got your answers right?

I'm seen the price hitting $95k right now, so this uptick in price is going to continue and maybe the next target is really that big 6 digits again. Exciting to see it as the investors are very happy and could pour their money again.

We should just continue playing into the waiting game: nothing wrong with hodling fore more time and see the targets reached eventually.

And it's indeed wonderful to see the confidence slowly returning back to the market.

Yes, this is a long game for the most of us, we don't sell this early just for quick buck. We are not that greedy, but with Bitcoin's history, if we just could hold for a little longer, at least at the end of the year then we will maximized our profits, very easy strategy and it's no secret.

Confidence is still here though as we are in the bullish sentiments, it's the market has been affected by so many negative news that we go down to as low as $76,000 if I'm not mistaken. And with the current price, we've gain a lot so it means that they still have faith in the market and I do agree that if we don't see 6 digits at the end of this month then maybe in May we will accomplished that again bringing more assurance that a eventual bull run and parabolic rise in the future is going to happen.

on 24/04/2025, 13:07:24 UTC
We've been telling that in gambling we should be setting our gambling budget. And maybe many of us are sticking to their plans. So perhaps we can discussed that might help others too, questions like,

Do you adjust your budget? why? it is after a big win or a big lose?
Or how do you set your budget in the first place, do you do it monthly or weekly or it is per session?
Why help you stay in control and not going over the budget?

Let's make this a good discussion so that we can help each other to just stick on our budget and just enjoy gambling, whether casino's or sports betting.

What happened to BRICS nations?
Since Trump came in I am yet to hear them convening for any meeting. Since Trump slammed Tariffs on most of them I don't see them having any meetings or talking about BRICs anymore.
It makes me to think that were they for real or they wanted to just cause some disruptions in the world market at the time they were talking about whatever they were going to do.
India is a BRICS member but I don't see them having any friendly chat with China with the reality of things.
To each one their own.

Yeah, it seems that the quietness is deafening isn't it? But maybe they are still convening secretly as the Trump policy might have affected them real hard as there are a shift and so they don't know how to response to the U.S. foreign policy and global trade dynamics.

But for sure they will have to come up with a better solution to counter everything, as far as I know, India tries to be just in the middle, while Russia continue it's tie to China and India.

Re: Do you fix their erroneous gambling thinking or you let them be?
by
Kemarit
on 23/04/2025, 22:29:38 UTC
When I discuss the wide range of gambling and betting with friends who are not on the forum, I often notice their flawed thinking. If it were just once, I would not have given it a thought but when their flawed thinking about gambling comes up over and over again it makes me torn between wanting to help them change the way they think or just leaving them to continue with such thinking until some major gambling experience happens and changes it for them. Some type of this flawed thinking is borrowing money from loan apps to gamble thinking that when they win they will pay back the loan and its interest and keep the rest for themselves. They call this gambling, with other people's money. Another flawed thinking is their belief that paid between groups will make them become millionaires faster than if they are not in the paid group. There are others like this.

If you are that kind of person that is argumentative and confrontational, then maybe you can correct them. But personally, I'm not that kind of person, although I have once a argument against someone regarding gambling but I didn't take it personally. We might have different views on it so at the end of the day there is no winner and we still are friends. But if you don't know the person that is in front of you that much, it's really have to argue with them and so just let it be.

For close friends, why not? Maybe they will take your advise and find it true to save them some money. Or maybe they will just laugh it off and after the argument, there is no love lost between you and your close friends.

Re: Excitement in gambling and How to Control Yourself ?
by
Kemarit
on 23/04/2025, 21:59:07 UTC
The question here is how do you relieve your excitement? Do you continue to play or do you stop there? The particular habit I observe in gamblers, professional or amateur, is that they are concerned about winning but do not feel the need to relieve their excitement. They are prepared to lose money and in the same way, they avoid limitations in order to earn money from gambling.

I feel excitement every time when I lose or keep winning. Do you also feel excitement when you win or when you lose?

I feel more excitement when I win, and I think majority of us here feel that. What we feel on losing is the mental trauma and that is the dangerous thing because at the back of your mind, you wanted to continue to play and bounce back. But at the same time, if you lose again then if might take a toll on you.

So I guess it's really better to tell yourself if you are winning, that you need to walk away and stop as you have already won and never chase bigger money as their is this house edge that we all know.

Just enjoy the game, have the adrenaline rush, but at the same time be discipline.
