Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion

The exciting match between Afghanistan vs Zimbabwe is going on, Afghanistan has given a target of 144 runs to the Zimbabwe team. The Zimbabwe team is very close to winning at the moment, they have lost 6 wickets and need 3 runs from 3 balls at the moment. If the Zimbabwe team can play well, then they will definitely win the first T20 match against Afghanistan. At the moment, both the teams are very hopeful for victory, but I think the Zimbabwe team will be able to beat Afghanistan in this match, because scoring 3 runs from 3 balls will not be that difficult.
Afghanistan eventually needed 11 runs from an over but could not prevent these 11 runs from being completed and defeated Zimbabwe by four wickets. Of course, he completed 11 runs easily with a total of six runs from three balls twice, although if the first ball could have been prevented from hitting a boundary, Afghanistan could have won, but that did not happen, instead he completed 11 runs with a boundary on the first and last ball.

There are enough reasons why the Afghanistan team lost in this match, because they could not perform well in terms of bowling. Because Azmatullah could not do well in bowling, because in the 20th over, the first ball was a little boundary and later he could not give a dot ball even after dividing five consecutive balls. However, today's game was quite competitive, although the Zimbabwe team won but after a lot of hard work.
However, the Afghanistan team had enough chances to win, if they could have given only 2 more balls as dots, the players of the Afghanistan team could have ensured the victory, but this Afghanistan team failed in this place.

T20 format requires a balance between the ball and the runs. Afghanistan would not have been at this stage if their batsmen had been able to score a little more. Hazratullah Zazai made only 20 runs off 15 balls and Azmatullah made only 13 runs off 12 balls. These issues are now being blamed for the loss in the match. Not only that, if they could have done better on the bowling side, it would have been possible to prevent this score but they failed there too. They needed 11 runs in the last over which was difficult for the Zimbabwe team but they made that difficult task easy. If the good team cannot play well, then it cannot be said that the bad teams will not do well there. Zimbabwe has been performing well recently due to which they won the match against Pakistan and started their new series fight with a win against Afghanistan.
There should be some balance in the performance. When you mention the term balance it also suits the team batting second or the team chasing the target. They will also make plans according to the target and make a initial take off as well as move through out the match. Little more runs doesn't make any big change in the match result. Maybe something as 160+ runs could pressure the team chasing the target and cause loss of wickets.

Re: Does a strategy works very well in gambling?
by
KennyR
on 11/12/2024, 23:49:07 UTC
I think that more experienced players should have a strategy, how they choose bets and how they follow a set of rules and do not exceed the risks. For people who play only for fun, it is clear that they will not care about strategies, because it takes a lot of time and implies the possibility of making gambling a way of earning money, which is actually very difficult. Maybe there are successful players who do not have a strategy, it is difficult for me to judge because I have not seen any statistics on this matter.
The only strategy that's very important for both those who gamble for fun and those who are gambling to make a profit in it should be risk management in the aspect of determining and controlling how much they should spend in gambling and knowing when to call it a day.

Those who gamble for fun, even if they are not in it for profit, might be carried away by the entertainment they are getting from the game and end up spending more than they have ever budgeted for; those who go in for profit should stick with what works for them.
When one have got the ability to consider as a fun as said and the mentality to allocate fund similar to spending on a holiday and never think of the negative things that happened during the holiday is the right strategy. Another thing is the risk management which is being mentioned. Here we should think of the risk and understand whether the risk we take is valuable. If so, we should go for it, else there are more investment opportunities which we need to focus on.

Re: Bank employee gets fired for playing crypto games

Alright, sometimes we might say a person's decision is right or wrong even without knowing the whole story, just like what OP is sharing. Some might say it was the right call, while others firmly disagree. If we were on the employee's side, we would take responsibility for our workers; we know how to appreciate them and when it's time to let someone go. It's not that easy to decide to fire someone over a simple issue but what I really think that happened could be more complicated than it seems, leading to firing him. Well, the court has made its decision, which means this is the final. So, even though it hurts, we must accept it.
The issue could've been getting around for some time period, and the employee might be noted for his activities. As stated, the firing isn't an immediate one. It looks like they've taken the necessary time and fired him at the right time. At some particular time of the day he might be gambling regularly. This seems to be the reason behind the firing. The authority could've gotten solid evidence and gone further if the employee raised a complaint. Anyhow, the firing of the employee is not because he used cryptocurrency for gambling. He gambled during the working hours, which is the right one.

Bangladesh started very well specially top order batsman Tanzid Hasan played outstanding, he taken 46 runs from 33 ball, although missed half century for only 4 runs, but then started losing wickets quickly like Soumya Sarkar, Liton Das, & Mehedi Miraz played worst, these three players taken only 7 runs, they showed unprofessionalism as many years experienced players. I think BAN will be lost in this match because West Indies top orders playing absolutely fantastic, they're going to make 100 runs partnership by opening two batsman.
Among the batsmen in the top order, except Tanjid Hasan, no one else could take a good result.  Especially when these three batsmen Liton Das, Soumya Sarkar, Mehdi Hasan Miraj are out early, Bangladesh is under pressure due to which the scope of runs is not created for the next batsmen.
Whenever the opening is good, automatically the teams gets strength and the next batsman will gain more confidence. In recent matches we can see this in the West Indies team. As said the Bangladesh team started good, but the middle order didn't meet the expected performance. Maybe if the middle order has supported

Re: Not to use VPN on gambling sites that against it
by

on 10/12/2024, 23:36:37 UTC
When you use a specific gambling platform from your country, you're allowed to use the platform based on the legal policies of the country. When you move for tourism or some other needs, you need to comply with the legal policies of that specific country. If the country is restricted to gambling, using a VPN to bypass and gamble is against the law. You may get access to gambling and enjoy it. If there are some issues, by the time we stand helpless, the support team will go with the terms and conditions of the platform for which we've accepted while signing up the account.

Re: How often do you gamble?
by

Gambling has turned out to be a big problem for me. For this reason, slowly I've come out of it. I used to enjoy gambling with the campaign payments. Once I was able to make $600 out of $50, which was a big thing that happened in my gambling activities. Soon after that, I had the same mindset and kept gambling for a long time. The luck that favoured me didn't work. I started to lose more and more, particularly the campaign payments. This is where I took the decision and kept myself under control. In the past I used to gamble at least once a day.

Re: Bets for Self Improvement: What are good challenges?
by
KennyR
on 09/12/2024, 23:10:14 UTC
These are healthy ways of making competence between friends and colleagues. As the bets were simple and not big money was involved, these will not create any problem. Some might take it seriously, while the majority just take it as a game and just spend for their friend. When money is involved, people see it differently. When we consider it a meal or small money, they'll have the mentality that there's nothing wrong in spending it for a friend, and they won't take the bet seriously. These are part of fun and can be effective with a dedicated person, and not everyone will succeed with these kinds of self-improvement tasks.

Re: The gruesome killing on a casino ground. Is jail a fair price?
by
KennyR
on 09/12/2024, 22:51:37 UTC
First of all a common security guard isn't supposed to use a gun, he's supposed to have a teaser only. Most people say that there's a spirit behind the trigger, at that moment you might be consumed with the power it gives you over someone else. But This is absolute garbage, no matter what must have happened taking his life wasn't the best way to go about it. He should be dealt with, murder is a sin against God and man. Jail should be a fair price for him but it should be life in prison so he doesn't get that chance to do that to someone else. Some people abuse a little power they have and try to oppress others with it
This is not the right way of handling such a situation. When someone is watching soccer along with a big crowd, there'll be noise. Another thing people can watch from home with utmost comfort, but they reach here to cheer and enjoy the moments. People will be drunk, and that makes them cheer and make more noise than a common soccer fan. Gambling and broadcast locations are getting to be murder locations. People need to realise that there need to be proper arrangements to keep things under control. In such situations these kinds of incidents could be avoided.

Re: Gambling Streamers. Are they promoting fun or fueling addiction?
by

on 09/12/2024, 22:42:03 UTC
Why people get into gambling. They believe it is an easy way to make money. When they weren't able to achieve it, they looked for different sources available around them. This is how many people start watching the streamers. For the streamers, it is like a profession. We can't blame them. We need to understand the reality and make decisions on our gameplay. Even I've tried different tricks following streamers. At the beginning I don't have the proper understanding. Later only realised and started to do it on my own, as luck is the only deciding factor of our winning.

Re: One of the biggest gambling hub in PH is now closed.
by
KennyR
on 09/12/2024, 22:35:35 UTC
This big gambling hub ( Island Cove POGO hub ) has officially signed off.

For now they are, but once they lack the money to sustain the economy and POGO cools down, these gambling hubs will be back again; gambling is legal in the Philippines, and if there's a new administration that needs more funds to the government coffer, they will let these gambling hubs reopen. These gambling hubs have been operating for many years, and they have built jobs and businesses around the hub, The next administration will re consider once they see huge money and jobs generated. You cannot just kill the duck that lays the golden egg.
Maybe this time the issues surrounding the gambling hub might've turned out to be big. This seems to be the reason why the closing is made serious, provided with the deadline. If things weren't going as planned, the government had ordered for deportation. At the same time, gambling hubs serve to be a major means of economy, and a big business runs around it. Surely there'll be reconsideration, and these are temporary decisions to withstand the present political vibe of the nation. Gambling being legal in the country, surely this will make a comeback.

Re: If you have a budget of $1 per day, how will you spend it?
by
KennyR
on 04/12/2024, 21:53:16 UTC
^

If a person has negative feelings because he can not spend a week without gambling, then he clearly already has a gambling addiction and if he does not fight this compulsive desire, it is very likely that it will only lead to the strengthening of gambling addiction. I think that everyone understands that this is not the best choice that can eventually lead to problems with finances and psychological health. Of course, each of us decides how often to play, but I advise you to listen to my opinion on this matter.
If one has self-realised that he's addicted to gambling, it is good to limit himself or share his thoughts with a person close to him. This could keep him under monitor, and some might keep their thoughts away through other discussion and taking them out of lonely time. Most of the time when people feel lonely, they don't know what to do, and these activities too had made more people get addicted. As said, how often to play and how much needs to be spent must be planned, and we should have the ability to stand within the set limit.

Re: "Most lottery winners go broke after few years"
by
KennyR
on 04/12/2024, 21:45:59 UTC

Yes, and that is the thing, they are going to spend most of their money and not thinking about tomorrow, and also giving gifts to other people as well. So it could really back fire on most of us won the lottery and then spend it all and in matter of years, broke again.

Everything should be done in moderation, and maybe some of us haven't experience a life changing winning, but if we do, we can only hope as well that we will not fall for this category and we will handle our money in a good way and not spend it all.

Perhaps it will never happen to any of us who are discussing this, and now it seems that each of us could do something wise with money, invest it profitably, start a profitable business and so on, but in fact, competent money management is not such an easy task as it may seem. Sometimes even those who have a lot of money start a business that can fail, so it is difficult to say who and how will be able to manage money until he receives it and starts doing something.

Money management is important, as is the preplan and spending limits. When we've got a good sum of money, we just keep on spending without making calculations on what we've got back as profit. Whenever we throw our money into business, we need to have the limits on spending, how long it takes to get the capital investment back, and all. If we keep on spending without looking upon the return, it is like keeping on risking as if we do with gambling. Whenever there is a big win, they think they've got big money and start spending without limits and calculation. Money dissolves in seconds, and they don't realise it. When they start realising everything could've gone out of hand.

Re: Casino that pro VPN
by
KennyR
on 04/12/2024, 21:30:21 UTC
even if a casino claims to be VPN friendly, i wouldn't play there if my country is blocked. they can change their policy at any time, and you would end up fucked.

And there is the catch. They are supposed to promote the VPN but in reality, they are setting a net (of protection or trap, take your pick) from which you cannot escape and you will always depend on their judgment and appetite. They profit from the advertising and the hype that is caused, they force you to go through the KYK for withdrawal (at some point they all do it) and if they consider you shady, they simply change the ToS. It's better not to use a VPN, you get into trouble from the start.

not to mention, that most of those "VPN friendly" casinos don't really care if a VPN is being used as long as you are losing...
but as soon as you win big and try to withdraw, they will say you violated the terms and ban you for good, and it's all within their right since you accepted the terms.
This has happened, and many people have mentioned it in our forum. At the beginning, the platform focuses on bringing the users towards their platform and making them deposit and spend as much as possible. As time keeps moving, they used to get good traffic. By the time if there is good winning with specific users and that's disturbing their revenue on a large scale, surely they'll look for reasons to stop the particular person from gambling. I'm not sure of it, but I don't think that the particular platform's terms and conditions will have the usage access to any VPN.

The freedom of having the option to gamble at anytime and anywhere is something the online casinos has given us too that we cannot forget in a haste already, then the security that comes with the privacy when you have mega wins and all you have to do is withdraw to your account except if you disclose to others, no one gets to know, all of that combined gives us an advantage we didn't get at the physical gambling house.
Online casinos really have what they're offering us, as it has made gambling very easy for gamblers. It started getting popular from the Covid era, which is when people realised that there is more to it than how it was viewed, but its disadvantages can't also be overlooked in areas of account blocking, withdrawal restriction, and others, which hardly happens in physical gambling centres.
The ease of access has come through the existence of online gambling platforms. The privacy is important, and the same is fulfilled by the online platforms. Even the person next door gambles on the same platform and will be having a discussion through the chat features, but they don't know both are the person's next door. Account blocking, withdrawal restrictions, and other issues were part of online gambling, but those aren't a big thing. Because casinos have got hard competence, and they don't want to get into allegations and lose their users for unwanted reasons.

Re: Can i gambler exceed the age where he doesn't want to gamble anymore
by
KennyR
on 03/12/2024, 23:41:19 UTC
As we get older, we used to be more responsible as we needed to handle more things. During the young age, even if we have commitments, it doesn't look like a big thing. After years, even a small commitment looks like a big thing, and we start the plan for the execution much earlier, and we feel like a great achievement when the same gets accomplished. During our young age, the same could've been done on the go, and we could've never minded it being a big thing. At some point, being selfish is a must. If not, this is going to be difficult to survive in the fast-moving world.

Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod]
by
KennyR
on 03/12/2024, 23:36:01 UTC
Bangladesh is looking favourite in the match now. Their batting performance was surprising in the second innings. The run rate was very poor for both teams in first innings. Some players of Bangladesh have played aggressively in the second innings which helped them to take a good lead. Now the target is 287 runs for West Indies. Everything will depend on how WI batsmen face Nahid Rana's ball in this innings.
In the end, West Indies were bowled out for 185 runs by Taijul Islam's fiery whirlwind and also defeated Bangladesh by 101 runs to end the Test series at 1-1. But the contribution of Zakir Ali and Taijul Islam in the second innings is really commendable. If Zakir Ali did not increase the score in T20 style, Bangladesh would have been under a lot of pressure. However, Nahid Rana's bowling in the first innings and Taijul Islam's bowling in the second innings played a great role for Bangladesh to win this match.
A match can go in favour of any team unlike the initial performance. This match between Bangladesh and West Indies is an example. At the beginning of the match, it looked like an easy win as Bangladesh ended its innings for 164 runs. Later, the West Indies had a comfortable start, but the same got collapsed by the bowlers of Bangladesh. Particularly Nahid Rana had a five-wicket haul and changed the match scenario. In the second innings, Taijul Islam had a five-wicket haul and won the match for Bangladesh.

Re: Recovery journey from gambling addiction.
by
KennyR
on 03/12/2024, 23:30:25 UTC
Distracting yourself with other things will be the best approach when it comes to this so that you will be able to make yourself that getting distracted on playing gambling because on the moment that you do find yourself having those kind of aims and thinking about doing gambling then you will really be just that eventually keeps on playing or going back into it. Also, if you do really mean out on quitting or stopping gambling then you can really just that stop midway. Somehow it wont really be that so simple on this case when it comes into this aspect specially on the time that you are really that being addicted into it, then it is something that gives out that urge that you will really be liking to play no matter what. Self control and discipline o which you will need.

It depends on the stage of gambling addiction and it will be individual for each player. Since gambling addiction is a medical disease that is included in the International Classification of Diseases, it is accordingly treated only with the help of medicine.
Even with medication it can't be controlled, if the person isn't ready to do it. Counselling is a major means through which people were made to self realise the mistake and then keeping themselves active on other things makes them come out of addiction.

Re: Receiving game odds from insane person to gamble.
by
KennyR
on 03/12/2024, 17:13:35 UTC
These are mere coincidences. If the bet had gotten lost, then your friend might've started to search the insane man to scold. As a result of coincidence, there is a big win. If not, the blame will be upon the insane man. This isn't just with gambling alone. It happens in all means. I personally had a similar experience with my friend, but the same isn't associated with gambling but a real-life experience.

One day I and my friend went for a drive. We went to a church, and though my friend is a Muslim, he came along with me and prayed. While leaving, I left a few pennies in the offering box. We went close to the motorbike to return home. By the time an unknown person came to him and gave him a few pennies and requested to put it in the offering box. He just went and put the money in the offering box. He just took that incident as some sort of positive vibe. In my understanding, it is all about how we take the incident and connect with our life.

Re: What would your reaction be in this scenario
by
KennyR
on 01/12/2024, 23:48:37 UTC
Hmm, did the person who helped him really not know that the person was a gambling addict? It seems that the person who asked for help used a clever way to ask for help from others in financial matters so that people believed and gave him some money, because if from the start he said that the money was for gambling then I'm sure no one would want to give it to him unless there was a strong reason.

But on the other hand, looking at the results, yes, it was good, he was really lucky in the experiment so that he managed to win a fairly large amount, if I were on the side of the giver, maybe there would be two reactions in me, between being happy to see the victory of the person I helped or being disappointed because he was not honest that the money would be used for gambling.
But it’s more on the giver may feel disappointed on the gambler since he was not honest in the first place, and it might be hard for him to trust the gambler again. Most especially that gambling is against in his values, he will definitely won’t give the gambler a chance again to fool him, even if the gambler managed to win his bets. This is not about winning, but it’s actually being true to the person that helps you.
You need to understand it clearly. The person has requested a little financial help, and he hadn't requested assistance in picking the odds. He hasn't got much knowledge in gambling, which shows it was his luck that had got him big money. As he had provided with little money, he has insisted on going with a particular choice, and the receiver has chosen on his own, and the same has won. Here there is nothing to talk about trust, because while receiving the money, he hadn't said any other reason. He has mentioned the right reason and got the money and gambled, which means he is true to the person from whom he has got the money.

Re: The Risks of Bypassing Country Restrictions in Casino Sites
by
KennyR
on 01/12/2024, 23:38:16 UTC
Now those who are trying to scam the casino are slowly regretting it. The casino is not blind, and since this is still a business, those people who will violate or break their rules will always be given proper sanction in the end, it’s either they will hold their funds and freeze their account, and they have all the right to do that.
Gamblers never have the mind to scam the casino, and it isn't possible. When a gambler has gotten used to a particular platform, he doesn't change his mind towards other platforms. Maybe he is sentimentally connected, or he might feel that the platform has a better winning percentage. This is all about a person's belief, and for that reason he finds a loophole to use the platform. If the platform is well developed, they can stop him from playing from a restricted list of countries. What they do, they just allow to gamble. When he starts making big money, the block will be done stating violation of terms and conditions. This is unfair, and this means the gambling platform is scamming the gambler and not the gambler scamming the gambling platform.
