It is ETH and BCH, but I always choose EB, as this is the most potential coin today, market fluctuations but hold the Executive Board is safe and secure.

What do you think about Zen Cash?

Recently, the price of Ethereum dropped even more. I read a lot of news and events. I think that the recent drop in the market has been a hacker attack!

I think the drop is just temporary. Just be patient.

I'd personally suggest ICOs. However, if you're headstrong in terms of sticking to Altcoins, I'd suggest ETH and LTC. Their potential is limitless, at least for now, their ROI is immensely high, and their future seems bright. You might also consider IOTA and Monero. However, for now, I'd go with ETH and LTC. Do your research and let me know what you think.

ICO is too risky. Most of them are just scams. Investors are not protected well.

I think wise people are not selling with the current price, they believe that the price will back to normal in the following months, and even me I just need to be patient as I am an loss when I sell.

Agreed. The ETH will be over $1000 some time next year.

Monero and Bitcoin Cash could be a good choice of the two coins.

Re: Will GPU's ever get down in price?
by
Kwiksave
on 26/04/2018, 16:01:38 UTC
Prices has gone down from the past months but still not in the supposed MSRP of GPUs, like for the GTX 1070 that is supposed to be just around 400-500 USD when the GTX 1070ti manage to hit 1300 USD last January. Now the price is just 500-600 USD which is just 100 USD higher than last years pricing. We can se that manufacturers have adjusted to the market demand of the GPUs but not yet in their desired MSRP, if you want we can wait for the new generation of GPUs from both companies and see if prices will shift again.

The 1080Ti of the ASrok Mini price has dropped from $1100 to about $900 in the past month.

I Believe now it is not good time to buy brand new GPU. I would go after some 2nd hand which was not used too harsh.

IF roi is over 7-8 months, it is not good idea to buy new, just my 2 satoshi

The best time to buy GPU was two weeks ago. The price has risen again.

Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.5 (Windows/Linux)
by

AMD cards that are BIOS modded definitely use oldkernels
AMD cards that are overclocked right on the edge might need oldkernels

Go ahead and try new kernels. With everything the same as before. If theres any instability or increase in rejected/incorrect do not bother underclocking just go straight to oldkernels.

The main difference between the two I've found is you don't get the fluctuating hash rate with the newer ones.  So if you can get away using them do it.

That's my story and I am sticking to it.

Weird, I just upgraded to 11.5 my two rigs (rx480 and rx570) and both increase hashrate, and both have mod bios and both are stable without using oldkernels under linux.

Maybe your mod is not radical enough.

For dual mining ETH +  XVG using antminepool. Do you think i can use exchange's wallet for XVG?

I use the Bittrex wallet. It is fine.

no but i would move other alts into ETH and continue to keep BTC
there is more good news to come in BTC worlds guys!

I heard that the Bitcoin Cash has more potential than the Bitcoin. So I will keep both the ETH and BCH.

This is only the beginning. It will gain more value with time. 2018 will be the year of ethereum. I’m expecting a 3x or even 4x at least.

I'm sorry Nevzat but we passed the beginning long time ago. Maybe you were not here but Ethereum price was less than $10 just earlier this year.
I believe 2018 is a candidate to be Ethereum year, I agree. I wouldn't set my hopes too high (3x, 4x) though.

If the ETH price rises 500% in 2018, that is already very good.

bitonnect used to promise high interestrates and they said that their trading-bot would privde lots of revenue.. Besides of that bticonnect has no real use. It'snot like Ethereum or IOTA or so..Taking this into account it was just a matter of time for this currency to disappear again.

So it is a Ponzi?

Re: Ethereum mining still profitable?
by

on 29/10/2017, 16:55:46 UTC
Is it wise wise to rely on a single coin, if you are a miner? New coins are coming each day. I mined few ETH, miss those old good memories. There is tremendous diff and mining becomes less profitable. Besides POS is coming anytime and very big number of miners will jump into other coins.  What if thousands of gpu starts mining zec or other coins at a time ? I hope I will get another coin like eth in future. That will make my mining profitable again.

It is very time consuming to find and mine the new coins. If you have many rigs, then stick with one.

Yes it's true that Ethereum and Bitcoin values fluctuate around the same!
But this is nowadays. There aren't many news about Ethereum!
We already have seen in the past ETH running and Bitcoin stable!
When some news come out you will see ETH running and BTC stable.

There will be a big hard fork next month. If it is successful, the price will rise a lot.

Price will rise for which?  Bitcoin or Ethereum?

Both will rise a lot in the near term.

I agree with that. And possibly the Bitcoin Cash.

There are too few users of Bitcoin Cash at the moment. I think it needs to attract more users.

Re: Is 7990 worth buying for 200$ (free electricity )
by

If and only if you have truly free power would i even come close to that power hog of a card. At the price you quote it has about a 5 month ROI before you make any profits.
Yeah power is truely free (but only for 1 rig max ) , Just like to know whats are the hashrates of this card , and how much likely is it that it burns or melts something due to power consumption

7990 is good for mining ZEC.

What is the speed for rx vega 64?

I get 519h/s with single watercooled RX Vega 64 8GB on stock. Driver 17.9.1 CM 12.6

regards

Gary

That is quite good. But it is still worse than the nVidia 1080Ti.

I am diversify my investment on eth. What i'm looking for is an increase in amount btc. Whether we will let eth rally without enjoying benefits that are clearly presented. This is a great strategy, holding two excellent coins.

I'm also did it before few month. Buy I also bought some other coins. Like waves, bitshares.

Those two coins has risen a lot in the past few months. But it might drop.
