Re: Cause of Covid Vaccine and it's Value

$39 sounds like a super reasonable price, as I read it at least. But I understand you're probably from a poorer country.

If money is an issue and you're under 60 years old, then don't even bother with the vaccine. What's the current death rate for covid? It's something less than 1%.

Re: 💜 [ONION] DeepOnion 💜 Modern Privacy with Real Use Cases 💜 DeepOnion News

So far, I have personally contacted 3 different business to discuss about implementation of DeepOnion on their business, no good luck there. How much contacts our team has done? I think none. There's nothing wrong with being a currency of a porn site, dating site etc. But it needs contacts, it needs the goal set up also known as roadmap which we don't have.

Why would any business implement onion if it have nothing to offer them?

They have lots to offer. But the most important that they can offer, or any coin for that matter, is a large community of people who are familiar with Onion and are willing to use it. It's not there yet, but I think it has a better leg to stand in that regard than most.

Adoption is coming according with Deutsche Bank.

“The COVID-19 pandemic is accelerating the rise of central bank digital currencies as many governments see the handling of cash as a potential risk factor. This will likely add to calls to move towards digital cash according to our Deutsche Bank Research colleague…

A once-in-a-century pathogen demands once-in-a-century solutions. An obvious place to start is to accelerate the inevitable shift toward digital cash.”

I don't think a central bank digital currency is the type of currency we want. They have their self interest as the number one priority.

Any crypto with a high volume. There's always plenty of activity to buy and sell. For months I've been in the process of trying to dump a particular coin, but the volume is so low.

Doge coin is a meme type of coin with lots of recognition. It's eye grabbing in that sense. So for that reason alone it might be a good investment. But with like everything else, don't put more than 2% of your portfolio into it.

This sounds like one of those Off-Topic threads. What price will Eth be tomorrow? It's like do you get a price if you're right?

The best thing to do is not rely so much on the past and expect spontaneous reasons that is out of our current understanding.

Video games have a short lifespan. As a triple A game is popular for a few months and then it dies down. And most games are not popular.

What are his reasons for believing that? I don't trust these people that just make random statements, considering that they are looking out for themselves first and foremost.

Re: Pissed at bounty campaigns since late 2018

The problem with your rant is that it can come across as it the problem is you, and that you're just picking bad projects. I give you the benefit of the doubt though.

I think it's just bed to find a real life job and invest part of your earnings.

The thing is, in an ICO everything is potential and may go either way.  There are also promising ICO that had been successful in their campaign but failed to pay the bounty participant.  One of them I think is Tokenpay.  You will feel how OP feels when you do bounty here.  It is quite funny how you tell something to OP when you yourself had not experience this stuff.  Though I agree that it is best have a real life job.

Actually I'm not criticizing the OP at all. I'm basically saying that his problems might be legit, definitely legit for him, but that many people won't really sympathize because they will just see it as though he's just not good at what he does.

Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin
by
Lagoons
on 16/08/2018, 05:18:34 UTC
if i build a bank of bitcoin that operating like a traditional fiat money bank when people can save the money and get interest for their saving and also people can get a loan from my bank but the fiat money is change for bitcoin, the question is would you guys trust me to save your bitcoin on my bitcoin bank that i want to build ?

The purpose of Bitcoins is to get away from banks, and not have them store your money. Also banks are allowed to lend out 7 times the amount of money that they have from the public. You cannot do that with Bitcoin. And where are you going to store the Bitcoins? In a Bitcoin wallet? People can already do that for themselves, unanimously, private from most people. While you'll be a major target.

Major news, good or bad.

1. Such as the reason Bitcoin ETF news that many people reacted negatively to.
2. Supply and demand.
3. Dumpers vs people fighting to buy.
4. Fear of missing out.
5. Security, such as a new vulnerability.

Really the list can just go on and on.

I don't know if it's the best time, because it's very hard to predict the market, but I would suggest doing some bounty work, and investing $20 here and there, or a small amount that you can afford to lose. I think that's better than letting the whole thing and something possibly huge pass you by.

Re: Why so many inactive participants in bounties campaign.
by
Lagoons
on 03/08/2018, 00:01:29 UTC
My guess is because they didn't qualified, not read the rules and follow the proper steps, or their accounts were deemed to be cheater or spammers. For example, in the current campaign that I'm in we have something like 5 or 7 thousands people who signed up, but out of that only say 500 to 900 have gotten anything. And it makes sense, because so many people don't follow the rules, or are a negative to the campaign because they are spammers.

Just look at the average quality of your bitcointalk poster, why would any coin want them to be part of their campaign?

You guys got any additional news on that Testament partnership you announced yesterday. Sounded silly to me but I've realized that guys are much more famous than I was aware of Smiley

Exactly, when they said that they had massive news, my expectations were high. And when I saw that it was a band named Testament, I was thinking that it was like the local band of one of the guys on the Discord named Testament. And that maybe they like his music so much that they think that everyone else is going to love and get it all excited.

But then I found out that they have 1.5 million followers on Facebook, and the songs that I checked out on YouTube has millions of views.

I first heard of it during the FBI raid to that darkweb store that was selling drugs and other illegal stuff. Silkroads I believe the name was, and this was around 2013. But Unfortunately I wasn't really familiar with the whole concept of investing, so didn't really looked into it as something that could potentially make money. Or something that could rise in value. That lack of knowledge. I wish I knew.

With the money that I hopefully make from Bitcoin, I'm planning on finishing school with really high grades, GPA, due to not having to worry and focus so much on money and such distractions. And hopefully get a wife, family and so on.

Simple stuff.

this begins to look more and more like the deeponion scam. the features of the airdrops reminds me to much of it
it would be nice if you could tell us more about it, some facts, etc.
they never do. they just come on and post shit then leave. or carry on saying scam but offer nothing in the way of eveidence. it's usually the ones who got caught cheating or have interests in other coins and see this as a rival

You see those types of post all the time, and the main motivation behind them is that they are involved in a signature campaign and need something quick and effortless to post.

Their post should be deleted because they're trying to screw us just for one posts. (But please don't delete my comment.)
