NEO is an excellent long-term currency, in a long-term perspective it will definitely grow in value, but without China this may slow down. $1000 is too high a price for NEO for this year, with or without China
1000$ is too high, but 300$ is possible. Such China`s solution can strongly influence on NEO`s price.Until NEO`s price is 300$, I prefer just periodically collect GAS.
You should remember facts that Ziliqa`s supply was 50% (after ICO) but QuarkChain has only 4% now. Every month, QKC will be unlocking +4%, this means that price will be dropped with high probability.

Tezos will be a great competitor for ETH and EOS. Since coins will be unlocked, be ready for pump because lots of new investors don't have any chance to buy TZS coins now and they would want to add them to their portfolios.

Nobody care about technologies of new projects, everybody loves marketing! In my opinion, serious projects should not promote their ICO in social media like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
For me - such ads is the first sign to evade these projects.

My biggest selling point for NEO is how much traction their gaining with dapps:
The fact that NEO allows you to develop dapps in a wide range of different programming languages is going to be a huge advantage over ETH.
I also like the fact its cost 500 GAS to launch a smart contract, prevents scammy projects.
Platforms like NEO are going to see huge gains this year IMO, more and more ICO's are being launched by the day
