Re: How much lucky have you got with crypto airdrops ?

Last year, I only blamed telegram miniapps when they scammed users but it's now very clear that all these projects are taking advantage of users. These days, to even find a testnet airdrop that would worth the time and resources put into it is a luck. Influencers are those majorly rewarded from these projects,  in order for them to onboard new participants.
Telegram was just a means to an end for those scam projects Devs and the influencers didn't do justice to the situation as they rendered themselves to be used by these projects developers to perpetuate their scamming scheme on participants who got deceived by endorsement of those projects to be projects of potential on airdrops rewards for  participants. Instead most of what they airdropped were dust after selling high expectations to the community.

Re: How Long Should You Hold Bitcoin for a Passive Income
by

These are the kinds of projections newbies see online and rush to invest in bitcoin. This calculation above looks very clean and will easily excite anyone who is interested in investing their money. However, I think this post is flawed by the fact that it did not put some factors into consideration. I would want to know from op if he has tried this strategy and consistently earned $100,000 annual profits to be confident enough to recommend this to others.

...
The strategy isn't coherent and doesn't meets the reality of the financial market that is known to be a volatile one where bear markets exist and could last beyond a year and more before the bulls when bitcoin holders can start making profit thereafter the circle. Under such market I don't understand how anyone can be making annual $100k profits as calculated by the op.

I think that Manchester City is a big club that can buy any player that they want but I don't know why they didn't go for some top players instead is even letting their top players leave maybe as you have said there may be some financial crisis in the club.
It could be more than just a financial issue, but rather a longterm strategic one. Manchester City often adjusts its squad composition to maintain balance, both in terms of player age and playing style. They're sometimes willing to let go of big stars to make room for younger talent or players better suited to Pep Guardiola's tactical needs. So, their move may be more about maintaining team continuity than simply stockpiling top players.
@SLAAAYYYYYY, you might be correct with your thoughts on the situation with Manchester city, it just can't be a financial problem because they're a big team with oil rich owners. The prospect could be more like not getting things right anymore and the club seemingly needs a transition in the management to get back into their game strategically. I am beginning to think that Pep Guardiola is starting to lose confidence with last season's setback, after covering himself in glory for a few seasons in a row.

Even though Manchester City current performance is still inconsistent, I think they will be more favored when they face Manchester United in the derby match after the international break. Ruben Amorim squad sometimes plays quite well when facing other big teams, but for now, Manchester City is still more reliable.
Meanwhile, if Manchester City fails to create consistency in the Premier League this season, it is clear that they will have a harder time competing in the Champions League. It seems Pep Guardiola is facing the most difficult period in his career, the squad overhaul that has been done has not shown any improvement at all.
Favouring City over United in the weekend derby can't be guaranteed for me, it's going to be a tough game for both sides and I don't think United will be going into that derby looking weak for City. After watching United 3 games in the EPL this season it's obvious there has being so much improvement than what they were last season. The only difficulty they haven't yet solved is ability to be scoring goals that much when chances are created unlike City that has a top 9 like Erling Haaland that hardly miss goal chances.

No, everyone must not invest in bitcoin but should it comes to that in the future it's going to be one of the best investments choice everyone will be making. People that invest in bitcoin don't invest in because it's the only option of digital asset they've available to them, of course, there are dozens of investment options, but when wanting to invest into any asset there are particularities that would have to attract you which other supposed assets are lacking. When we look at limited supply, decentralised, a store of value and hedge over inflation and many more, these are features that bitcoin is known for, which many others so-called fiat related assets lacks.

Bro Manchester City have got no problems rather than letting key players leave and bringing in some average players instead of quality players like they use to buy, there's no much funds to buy the league like he use to, so this can clearly tell us that Manchester City has been dominating the league with funds, and the sad news is the transfer window is no More so they have to wait till January before they can sort the problem, but as for now they should try to manage with what they have till further notice, and as per the champions League they're so gonna get it hot.
I don't think funds are a problem to Manchester city in buying the top players, in my opinion it's a coach tactics issue that the club is currently facing. Guardiola has being studied by the other managers of the premier league clubs and now they all know his strategies more than before when he just got to the EPL and was winning trophies back to back. Perhaps if City can make a change of a manager next season. The new coach can come in and turn things around with new tactics and style just as Slot is doing in Liverpool.

This is true that more money you have, more you spend. The one who gets 1000$ monthly salary and the one who get 10,000$ monthly salary both lives hand to mouth because both spends according to money they have at their disposal. That's why it's important to manage your finances and one way is to develop the habit of investing your money. Through this forum we now have idea that best area to invest is Bitcoin, whose price continue to go up with time.
In my local parlance there's a phrase that says "big man, big problems", which translates as the more money you make the higher your responsibilities increases because you get more ambitious , your taste for things increases and with bigger plans than what you had when previously earning little. You go fast downhill that you're not well managing your funds by investing in any asset wether digital or real life assets to making returns to cover for the debits from expenditures, it's those investments that will save you in raining days.

The early participants that involved themselves in  airdrops and bounty made huge amounts of money from so many airdrops but what we are seeing these days is the opposite of what participants supposed to be getting from crypto airdrops.

Many projects that are launching Airdrops now are very greedy and they don't even want to reward their community in a way that everybody would benefit after so many tasks given to them to accomplish in the limited shortest time.
Those behind the airdrop projects of this days have being taking advantage of the participants of their projects who go into it with the belief of the good old days that airdrop projects were devs were genuine and had the community in the context of the project. Greedy is an understatement to the projects that are launched this days , especially all of those time particularly late last year and early part of this year all the telegram tap-tap airdrop projects rather took from their participants instead of airdropping what they have spent time and money on in carrying out those ridiculous tasks.

Trading is majorly based on luck and we should not forget about luck have been helping making gamblers to hit jackpot without full awareness they could gamble and make huge winnings. There are some bets that requires a lot to skills like poker and other related ones. Games like slots majorly relies on luck for you to keep making profits and when you don't have adequate luck to bring winnings for yourselves, then you might end up struggling to make profits trying to bet frequently which can lead to severe addiction that might be hard to reliquinsh.
...trading goes with adequate trading skills with strategies to walk through the turbulent volatility of the market that's why you can hardly hear about any person getting lucky to win a massive trade profit, your experience and discipline will have to decide that and not some luck as it could be with gambling where a jackpot comes in handy to just anyone who's so lucky but yet there are still gambling games that requires knowledge to the game for the gambler to be able to push his luck through.

This has always being our fate, this guys can't just make us quailfiy for competitions without us having to calculate,. After our very fist losses, I just knew this guys will put us in confusion mode. I still believe though that the super eagles can get something from the remaining games and then we hope on faith to do it for us. I haven't being following up the matches though but can someone do some calculations for me. Lets assume the other opposition that we have lose only one game and thn the super egales were to win all their remaining features, is there a chance for we to qualify or we won't still qualify?.
Judging from their last performance against Rwanda am not really convinced that these guys can stun the South African team on their home soil but let's give them the benefit of the doubt because this is football and in football miracles do happen even though it's not feasible to me, and a miracle is what we need precisely because the teams efforts hasn't produced the required results so let's keep hoping that something good would come out of this encounter.

South Africa as already with 16 points currently and they shouldn't be our problem but Benin who are with 11 points, that's 1 points ahead of Nigeria that is currently on 10 points. So in the next game we should hope Benin lose while Nigeria work it hard to win South Africa to stay 2 points above Benin in order that we can go to second position directly behind South Africa. All this will be decided on Tuesday, 9th September 2025.

Two things that surprised me were Porto's home win over Sporting and another draw for Braga. Braga needs something to improve their performance and start winning. They have the team to fight for the top three, in my opinion, but they're drawing too much.
Porto's win was well articulated, they are trying to send a strong message to their arch rival about how this season's rivalry and fight for the title would look like and I think they did so with this result, for Braga am not really surprised because this has always been their style, they always drop points when you least expect especially against struggling teams unlike Porto and Sporting Lisbon, Braga is way below class, can't even remember when last they challenged for the title.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26
by
Lida93
on 07/09/2025, 21:22:35 UTC
In a week, Atletico Madrid are going to face Villarreal home. Honestly it is one of the toughest fixtures in the season for them. Villarreal have started the season solid. Quite productive and strong in defense.
Villarreal will beat Atletico Madrid no matter how prepare they prepared in this la Liga league competition to meet Villarreal next game, because Villarreal have beaten their opponents to maintain solid position they are now. I'm not saying Atletico Madrid is a weak clud, but with what Villarreal is playing from their first game and second game make me to believe they will win their next game with 0:2 to secure victory from Atletico Madrid.

Villarreal have potential squads that will make this season difficult for Barcelona and Real Madrid not to be consistent in their winning, because they have good goalkeeper and strong defenders that will make their forward players to showcase what they are showcasing from the beginning of this tournament till the end.
It's quite an interesting fixture between these two Spanish sides, you can't tell who's going to be favourite or underdogs but you can tell that it's going to be a clash of the titans, Athletico haven't really started well as earlier anticipated considering the number of players that coach Diego Simeone brought during the transfer window but I believe over time the squad will blend very well and meet the expectations of the fans, but for Villarreal, I know they would actually make Athletico Madrid stay on their feet for 90 minutes.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)
by

on 07/09/2025, 21:14:04 UTC
I don't think Inter Milan management choose to make Chivu their head coach as a thing of favor or compensation because the Serie A is becoming more competitive, and Inter Milan management wouldn't appoint Chivu as their head coach if they know very well he won't perform well at Inter Milan this season. If Inter Milan plays 10 matches this season in Serie A without Chivu gathering a convincing point, Inter Milan management will likely relieve Chivu of his job and hire another coach who can be able to deliver what they want.
No team appoints a manager out of pity or some sentimental bias except for expectations of delivery, this is business and they can not afford to mix in emotions with business where good funds has been invested, the reason Inter appoint Chivu as solely results oriented I believe, everyother is mostly not the primary reason why. And I want to believe even Chivu does understand this and will want to make sure  a substantial amount of points would have been gathered after a good number of game has been played so he does not risk his job
In European football it is practically impossible for anyone to be given a position as sensitive as a head coach out of pity, it takes training and certification to be recommended for that position so I don't agree with the idea that chivu was appointed out of pity or some sentimental reasons as regards his affiliation with the club as a former player with inter, he must attained certain level of professionalism to have been entrusted with such a sensitive position in the club.

After success with Xabi Alonso, Bayer Leverkusen lost him to Real Madrid but not only this, they sold many star players to other clubs which are good for their club financial balance sheet in this summer. In long term Bayer Leverkusen will have to rebuild their squad with many new players with no guarantee of success and how they fell into crisis before Xabi Alonso appearance in their club is a warning for them.
this has always been the biggest challenge for clubs that lack adequate financial strength because they always end up compromising in terms of selling off their best talents all in a bid to Ballance the books and ensure that they do not have issue when trying to participate in transfer market, have seen this happened a lot of times to many teams but at the end it usually becomes a disaster for the teams because they would need to start rebuilding the team which is quite dangerous especially in a competitive league.

Manchester City is yet to identify their problem that is why the team is still finding it hard to go back to their previous performance despite allowing some players to go and bringing new ones the team is still finding it hard to win matches, no doubt they have so many strong oppositions this season in the league and champions League competition Pep Guardiola will try his best and if he can't get the team between them during the champions League their performance will know his fate.
Yes I totally agree with you, it's either the coach hasn't identified the main issue or he is admitting to suggestions that he doesn't really has full control of the dressing room and I guess you understand what this means for any coach. I expected Manchester city to have improved from what we saw last season but it seems as if the teams is still being haunted by their past which is not good at all because if they continue this way it would affect their performance in the UCL

I don't think we have hope of meeting up with South Africa, i don't expect their remaining games to go badly for us to meetup. After the match against Rwanda today, Nigeria will be facing South Africa, and this will be our only hope of delaying South Africa from adding more points from where they are now.
....
Unfortunately there may not be any mistakes on the side of the South Africans, because they are very keen on finishing at the top of the table, I know many Nigerians are hoping that something might go wrong that would be beneficial to us, but I don't think any negative would happen because we failed to take our chances when it presented itself in the beginning, we flopped on our home soil thereby gifting the opportunity to lead us so I believe its fair if they qualify ahead of us, no disrespect.

Re: Do Established Casinos protect our KYC better than the New Ones?
by

on 07/09/2025, 19:15:43 UTC
I think both the new and old casinos try as much as they can to protect their customers' data, but then again, we should all be aware that immediately we submit our document online for KYC verification, it's now out there, and we should be prepared for the worst. Any casino can be hacked, both old and new ones, and the older ones are even more of a target for hackers than the new casinos.
gamblers tend to trust the older casinos that have earned their reputation with all the challenges they must have face and didn't flinch, a pathway new casinos haven't crossed yet. Nevertheless, there exists no difference among them all in attempt to protect the data of customers but one thing which you have said which is certain is that they can be hacked. Although hack is one of my worries I also give concern about how these casino could face pressure from the authorities to make them share our data to them without the customers having a clue on this happening.

You have said it all. Inter underestimated PSG due to a lot of reasons. Firstly, they haven't win the trophy before and don't have the finals experience. Secondly, they struggled till they got to the finals and lastly, Inter defeated Barcelona who everyone sees as the best last season. I believe that Inter didn't even prepared properly for that finals. Assuming, they prepared for the finals the way they prepared when they played Barcelona, PSG wouldn't have humiliated them that way.
I think Inter's problems started after they ousted Barcelona, actually they didn't expect they could go past Barcelona but they did it anyway, but with PSG it became difficult because they didn't understand PSG and couldn't come up with any plan whatsoever to approach the game because they thought PSG wasn't as complicated as Barcelona and that was why PSG took advantage of their weaknesses even as they seemed clueless on the pitch playing like a youth team. Brazil did good winning this match and I suppose Ancelotti is feeling more comfortable with this victory especially that Brazil got a qualification ticket along with Ecuador.
Otherwise Uruguay and Paraguay will qualify soon and Colombia will follow normally. The problem will be limited between Venezuela and Bolivia for the intercontinental play-offs.
it was a well deserved win for the former world champions and a result in the right time which would at least help the coach gain the confidence of the Brazilian because it was beginning to look as if Carlo Ancelotti wasn't the right pick for the position of the coach of the Brazilian side due to some flip flops of the teams when he took over as the coach of Brazil but with this win I believe the entire nation would begin to look up to their team with much respect.

This is a battle for the top spot in the league. After all, every season every team is competing to improve their strength and the arrival and departure of players will affect the team strength. So it's natural that Man City isn't where they were five years ago. And remember the Premier League is a tough league with six or more strong teams competing for the title. It's too competitive. I just feel like this season isn't Man City season.
Apparently, I thought that their woes were over but am so surprised seeing that they are still struggling with the trauma of the previous season, they seem to be hoovering around the same cycle even with the presence of the new players in the squad, Pep Guardiola seems very confused and somewhat clueless and this keeps me wondering what their fate is going to be this current season because they have a lot of big sides to face both in the EPL and UCL.
