Re: Your best advice regarding Cryptocurrencies
by

on 25/07/2025, 22:00:40 UTC
We have always a lot to consider when it comes to cryptocurrencies, and sometimes you don't even know where to start to give newbies important advice. So: what is your best advice for cryptocurrencies?

My best advice is:

Not your Keys - not your Coins

Because storing your coins when you have your own access is always very important if you want to keep control of your coins.

So feel free to let us know what your best cryptocurrency advice is.
Make sure to have a reliable source of income if possible make it more than one source. Don't rely solely on cryptocurrency for a means of making money because it's a volatile asset we are dealing with. A lot of persons make the mistake of abandoning their initial source of income probably due to as they got into crypto they were lucky to enter in a bullish season and made some profit not knowing that the bearish season will be here after the bulls.

Re: Is it still gambling if you're sure you're going to win?
by

There are event you can predict on that even though it's not 💯 guaranteed that you're going to win,  a level of certainty makes you think that you're surely going to win.
Like PSG vs Chelsea  and then they went ahead losing to Chelsea  Grin,  there's  no  guarantee about a future event , it's  just what you believe would happen, doesn't  mean another person won't  see it differently no matter the level  of certainty or whatever  you think and lo you could be wrong  as well .. that's  why it's  called gambling
Oh yes gambling is absolutely a game of uncertainty to which we shouldn't act with much assurance on any game between two teams wether its between two teams which one is weak and the other stronger. Chelsea Vs PSG match final was one game which left many gamblers losing so much of their bet because hardly did anyone thought Chelsea could have won PSG after watching how PSG won all big sides in all competitions.

This is very unprofessional behavior, and I know there are many scam accusations against them, but now they proved they don't care at all about bitcointalk community.
There might be an error somewhere which may have led to this misunderstanding. For your repute in the forum it's unlikely that BC GAME would want to give you such response for just asking for their interest in sponsoring a competition in the forum.

However, concluding they don't really care about the community is what I am doubt with because they have been major sponsors of come competitions in the forum.

Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season

<Snip>.
If Rodrygo gets more opportunities, I'm sure he could achieve much better performances, as he's quite good. Real Madrid's weak defense is due to several key injuries, preventing the coach from fielding a full squad for matches. The arrival of two new players this season will improve Real Madrid's defense, although they will still need time to adapt. Xabi Alonso's task won't be easy, but I'm confident he can overcome these issues over time, as achieving success in a short time is no easy feat.
Like you said, players like  Rodrygo requires much playing time in any team they are in order to excel. On the part of Alonso changing situations in the team to create that quality Real Madrid are known for, it's going to take some time as he can't get things right just immediately. The only position in real Madrid squad is the attacking positions. Next season I probably not be expecting the midfield and defensive positions to be as strong as to give them a competitive team anywhere even though they get to buy new players.

Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions

Considering how outstanding Alexander Isak has been, I will really would love to see him play in a top-notch club, the youngster has the ability to improve over time and it will be a delight to watch him play among top players that will contribute to his improvement. As Newcastle united stands now, he is there talisman, letting him go is what I cannot envisage at that moment but Liverpool will seriously be breaking the Bank to buy him considering how much they've just spent in buying Ekitike.
Liverpool can still break the balcony for him, realised they haven't been spending for some recent seasons in comparison with other top teams their recent transfer records are nothing and not that they were being held by any restrictions.

Now they can strengthen their squad way more for a long term but the fee requested by Newcastle is really huge and I think this is because of the amount they spent on Florian Wirtz and Ekitike.
Liverpool's intention is to win back the EPL trophy for next season and so why they are building their squad with all the players they can get. I had felt that Liverpool would have stopped at Florian Wirtz and Ekitike signing after severing such huge amounts for those two players but turning focus to Alexander Isak explains how ready they want to be against all their opponents in the EPL. Although the price tag on Isak by Newcastle is too way high for him. Imho, Isak is overpriced.

Re: US Americans can now donate towards reducing national debt via Venmo
by
Lida93
on 25/07/2025, 17:23:46 UTC
So let me get this straight, the US government first prints more dollars and creates roughly $1 trillion national debt every 2-3 months, which as we all know printing fiat is pretty much the same as stealing from every single American. Then they ask the very same people they stole from to pay them more money to cover up the debt they created in the first place! LOL?

....
Perhaps the money printing were done to be used in support of their friends at war such as Israel and Ukraine which is really not a new burden the American government has been pushing onto her  citizens. In as much as the US continuos to interfere in and meddle in other countries conflicts the debt can never be covered because checking from the inception the debt amount has constantly increased over the years.

Re: Does covering user withdrawal fees work better for casinos?
by
Lida93
on 25/07/2025, 14:29:00 UTC
When it comes to withdrawals, casinos have two types of business model:

1. Pay user's withdrawal fees out of their own pocket
2. User pays fixed withdrawal fee

This is also strictly business, some will not request for a withdrawal fee all because they understand the way gamblers will appreciate this as opportunity and be rest assured of using their platform each time as to make withdrawal can never be an issue for them, just as the way they never finds it difficult to make deposit, while in some cases, some will charge below $1 and I've seen those that charged more than $5 to make withdrawal, to me, they are doing this to keep gamblers on the run of using their entire money to gamble, when they consider the cost, it may be discouraging, they may then decided to leave such for playing game instead of going towards the withdrawal fee charges.
All are business strategy to attract customers when a casino isn't taking withdrawals fees, but in all what I really take into account before all else is the reputation of the casino, and then their withdrawal speed. But it's an advantage to the gambler that he gets to use a casino with a free withdrawal fee, in that way you are sure of getting back all your money in one piece. But should a casino charge for withdrawal fees it shouldn't be something high, anything below $0.50 fee charge seems okay for me.

I may not be wrong to say that if the winner of this money knew he would be winning this very time he would have staked with an amount much more than he used in staking. Congratulations to whoever is the winner. Cheers!
But no one knows when he will win. It seems he is careful placing his bet but with $1.13 as his base bet, that shows us that he is one of many people who are willing to bet with high.

He is really lucky to win that much while others just lose their money. We can congratulate him for his winning no matter we don't know who he is. We can not be like him because we have different luck.
Doesn't look like he is a high bettor hence his stay on his normal staking amount. Or maybe he just wanted to lower his risk having no certainty about what the outcome of the game might be.

Every gambler has their lucky day. It's just a matter of when. Whoever won this ticket may have been losing before hitting such luck.

Re: USA announces 50% tariffs on Brazil
by

on 25/07/2025, 11:07:36 UTC
I'm not sure if you’ve been following the news, but President Donald Trump has just announced 50% tariffs on Brazil. Some say it's politically motivated retaliation, while others believe it's a way to economically target a country that, under its current government, has been favoring dictatorships and communists, attacking freedom of expression, and going after American companies, especially those in the tech sector. So, what do you think about this?

(Click on the image to view full size)

We have brains, not just any brains but functional brains that we can tell for ourselves when a decision is politically or economically motivated. Following the international trends on global economies we all have a clear cut of an understanding to why Trump's decision of a 50% tariff on Brazil is declared. It is not for economical purposes of any order but purely political which is drawn from the role Brazil plays as a BRICS member.

Trump taking up all of these actions on several nations expresses what a dictator he is in disguise, and all of these actions may drag the US to the mud because honestly, the US isn't self sufficient as they might think to be

Re: No Amount is Affordable in Gambling

What's your position on this thought?
It is true we all direct our attention to the potential amount we are standing a chance on winning should our games go as predicted. But you have to note one thing here, and that is, when you eventually lose the bet assuming it's in sports betting, that when you get to understand the statement "gamble with what you can afford to lose". Because at the end you don't think anymore about the potential win but the amount you used in staking which could affect you if it was some big amount you had to lose

That is why we must gamble with the mindset that regardless of what the outcome is we shouldn't get overwhelmed with the reality to the point that we start gambling is a particular direction, let say if and when we are gambling and becomes lucky to win consistently let that not get into our head to the point that we start to think we can be lucky all the time.

We have to accept our luck as well as we accept our loses also, this is one mindset that will help a gambler the most.
If you have been gambling for long, I mean for a veteran gambler no amount of winning streaks could get into his head because he has seen and had many experiences with the act. He just accepts the winning streaks as they come in, knowing well that after a win comes some losses too. Gamblers that are mostly carried away are the newbie gamblers who haven't undergone through some of these experiences, as a result they get easily carried away.

Re: Turkish Super League 2025/26 Season
by
Lida93
on 24/07/2025, 20:39:23 UTC
I don't see any risk there in Galatasaray having to spend such big amounts for Victor Osimhen getting him into their club completely. Victor Osimhen beyond doubt proved to the Galatasaray management that he is worth every penny they give out for him by helping them to winning all trophies in the Turkish football league, humbling Fernebache despite how much of a competition Fernebache pulled out against Galatasaray Osimhen was always there to save the day either by assist on goal or scoring himself. What club wouldn't sign such a valuable player?

The real risk is putting so much money on one player. What if Osimhen gets injured in his first game? If he breaks his leg or tears his ACL and misses a season, he won't be able to return to his previous form. No footballer is worth taking such a big risk. Of course, a healthy Osimhen is a serious threat. He proved that with the goals he scored last season. The player has a very high cost. It's several times larger than the annual budget of many teams in Super League.

...
How hilarious your perspective on this is in my opinion though. Football as a sports is a risk in itself and that's why footballers playing at professional levels are been paid such huge wages as they receive weekly. Now to Osimhen fees, can it be compared to what Liverpool signed Florian Wirtz and Ekitike who haven't even played a season with them and delivered a trophy to them as Osimhen has done for Galatasaray? I'll love to get a reply on this from you mate

Re: Have you been addicted to gambling in the past.
by
Lida93
on 24/07/2025, 20:34:06 UTC
Frankly, I haven't fallen into gambling addiction at any time since I have been gambling. Fortunately I have been able to discipline myself in my everyday gambling journey.

But out of acknowledgement with other addiction issues outside gambling I think the first step to the addicted to take is by speaking out for help and admitting his addiction. Then from there external help can start coming in with the cooperation of the addicted gambler. This one simple way to start.
In fact, it is very often too difficult for players to admit to themselves that they are addicted, maybe they even suspect it, but they cannot openly admit it, especially in public in front of friends. Especially if everyone is bragging about winnings, then the player does not want to be different, he will prefer to remain silent about losses and how yesterday in a fit of attempts to win back he lost almost everything. I do not have friends who gamble, so I have to be honest only with myself, that I am doing quite well, although in the past of course there were different cases, including tough wins, after which I wanted to quit gambling forever.
Not admitting a gambling addition challenge only helps makes the gambler addict situation worse. However, getting to lose much more than one wins isn't really a thing of addiction though, because you can be gambling responsibly and still be making so much losses with predictions. What really matters in a win or losing streaks situations is staying disciplined and gambling responsibly.

Re: Investment is for everyone
by
Lida93
on 24/07/2025, 20:27:00 UTC
Hearing testimonies from different sources, I can only conclude that "You don’t need to be rich to invest, but you need to invest to be rich." Riches aside, investment can increase your financial freedom, but the problem with most people is procrastination, they want this BIG capital to invest, but it is not like that.

From real estate, stocks to crypto, we have seen people buying their assets that were deem worthless, but suddenly became their source of wealth. I remember someone who couldn't afford a land at the city center but wanted to invest. He bought it at a rural area where he could buy over 1 acre. Not long after, the government decided to build a Federal university in that locality. Right now, a plot of land there can buy a plot of land in the city center that he couldn't afford, that is the power of investing.

It mustn't be convenient, it mustn't be in thousands of dollars, a little that is being consistent about and carefully thought through could make that wealth. Start investing today.
There are several assets one can invest in to create recurrent profits for himself although some requires some big capital to have a reasonable ROI after a period of time but there are those that doesn't really demands much of a huge capital to start with. The problem with some persons is that they want to start out big and they then start procrastinating and eventually never had to do anything and time get past them to have taken up some opportunities when it availed itself. Take bitcoin for example, there were people who saw it in it's nursery stage but procrastinated, today they are regretting.

For the first time, the USA is going to publish their crypto report.
It is expected that there may be an update on the STRATEGIC RESERVE.. Maybe they will reveal some big plans.
We are waiting for July 30th.

Trump! Could this decision to bring to public notice about the US crypto holding be coming as a result of some reports from some media about the US been attacked on not holding the amount of bitcoin it claimed it's holding in its possession? Well, I gat to keep tabs on this by 30th July to know what publication they have to share to the public. Hopefully that could impact the crypto market into the new month of August.

Re: Turkish Super League 2025/26 Season

Lida93

Osimhen is a truly high-quality player, far above the Turkish Super League. Galatasaray was keen to acquire him, and I think that was perfectly reasonable, but the money they would spend on him could create a major financial crisis. Therefore, his transfer carries a significant risk, but I believe it's acceptable because I'm confident the Nigerian striker will perform very well again this year.
I know that Galatasaray took a great risk that can affect their finance by entering into a huge contract just to sign Victor Osimhen but sometimes money do not really matter so far as the player can still maintain same level of energy that made the club to sign him. Osimhen is a great striker that is envied by many clubs, he knows that Galatasaray have sacrificed a lot just to secure him, i don't think he will let the team down because he will continue to make sure that they don't regret signing him after a perfect performance on the loan deal, now he is fully a Turkish league player which means that the league will become so lively and interesting to watch because they got one of the best strikers in the world namely Victor Osimhen.
]For those that have followed Manchester United right from their glory days especially when Alex Ferguson was manager, and seeing the results of their performances currently it is no error that anyone says there's nothing fascinating happening with the club anymore. The opportunity that Arsenal now have in participating in the UCL should be well optimized in winning the league, for the past forum seasons has been their best seasons after many years of not participating in the UCL and with the players they have now in the team they really should stand a high chance of winning the league.
There are many good performing teams in the Premier League at present, but I don't know why I have more interest in Manchester United and I still support Manchester United as before, but I think that Manchester United may not be able to return to the previous position as they were before. Manchester United lost their glory days a long time ago and after that they tried to buy players but they still could not return to their previous position. I don't know how much the management is working on Manchester United but they should plan better with this team and transform Manchester United into a strong team again so that anyone includes Manchester United in the top five teams of the Premier League and Manchester United is always the favorite to win the league title.

At least they're admitting when they get it deep Grin         @Stuna 🤣
How is it possible  Shocked

How lucky can a person be to win like this? It's truly an incredible win. The person who won it never imagined that he could win like this with just $1. I've never had such luck. It was all a very simple prediction and it's unthinkable that a casino site could give someone a chance like this. I think the person who won it couldn't believe it himself. If this person was someone on the forum, his feelings would be known.
Well, this is Stake.com where any win amount at all is paid out irrespective of how much you used in staking even if it's in cent. Sometimes luck shines for use in way  and time we never saw it coming. I may not be wrong to say that if the winner of this money knew he would be winning this very time he would have staked with an amount much more than he used in staking. Congratulations to whoever is the winner. Cheers!

How did you go about it?

Was someone there to help you out or you took the bold step all alone?

How long did your addiction last?

Bitcoin or not, it's not advisable to throw all your resources into a single investment. For in the same way we advise people to find themselves into more than one means of making income that is how it has to be with investment assets. You have to spread it to other areas while you still have a source of income to cover for daily needs. Op, your friend have to realise that there are bearish season with bitcoin and how does he survive in those periods since he has quit his artwork which was a source of income he once used to invest into bitcoin from the beginning.
