Beginners Luck in trading real or superstition ? beginner luck in trading is super real it happened to me a couple of times but bad luck at first It also happened to me too. It happens every time when you pu trade without proper analysis and blindly entry and then 1H-4H candle starts to do magic or some whale-like buying tons of contracts or tokens in the spot case. So the candle makes a big wick and then you get easy profit or you get easy loss hahahha.
Yea exactly, I have equally experienced it, when the Luck made me feel like I was a great trader already, when I was just on the right side of the market making some little profits here and there without knowing the reason why I made those profits and few losses.
This comes from lack of training and knowledge before embarking on a trade and equally lack of proper analysis even after getting trained

I feel so lucky to have come across this thread, it gives me so much joy that this exercise gives me joy seeing the outcome despite the pain.
I try to make up my push ups each day I feel less motivated to push, bitcoin hitting 100k has given me a double win.

The inflation is bitting hard in Nigeria and the best we can do is to collectively change our mindset towards the betterment of the country, then secondly delve deeply into Agriculture.
If we all have alot of food supply in the markets it will Automatically crash the price of those commodities, and make easier to acquire.
But right now the dew people in the Agricultural sector are even contributing to inflate prices to equal the market even if they have the products so much at their disposal.
I guess it starts from the mind to bring about a change first as a people my not rolling with the current trend of "Nigeria don bad and no be me go Change am"

You are right, infact this is one major problem that has impeded our development because we don't even seek for any where or anything better, the landlords take us for granted because we don't even know of our rights as tenants.
This attitude has made us not to be taken seriously by the government too.
Assuming we express great displeasure from within us as a population, Nigeria would would have been a lot better than this in the sense that the "Leaders" will even be scared of trampling on our rights as citizens because they will be scared of our reactions.

It feels good seeing my body transform with this challenge, it's win win for me because bitcoin is almost at our target while we equally hit our target in getting physically fit and healthy

It is a popular occurrence to have bureau de change operators hang around popular spots in towns expecting to have people come over to them to change one hard currency to another. While passing through one of the popular junctions in my city, what I could hear was, change dollar, change gold, change pounds, I get all the currency. Small thing nai remain for me to ask am say if e fit change bitcoin as play play, but I did not and have been reasoning to myself if I go fit trust these guys enough to come dey do physical bitcoin transaction with them? You fit run bitcoin transaction physically with these kind people if e happen say dem still agree say dem fit change your bitcoin for you?
Well..I understand the risk involved in doing a physical transaction on bitcoin with the bureau de change, the p2p feels more comfortable.
But imagin if we have bitcoin as means of exchange which can be handled physically, in tiny fractions, honestly I will be comfortable trading it with the bureau the change than the banks even. In my location they have a more secure environment funny enough.

I think that beginner's luck only exists in gambling, in trading being a beginner can't be a help, it can be a huge disadvantage. A beginner doesn't know when to buy and when to sell, a beginner doesn't know which trading pair is good to trade, a beginner doesn't know which coin to choose for investment, and a beginner can easily fall into scams of NFTs and meme coins.Beginners Luck occurs during the first few days, weeks or months of trading. It's extremely rare for a beginner to be lucky. Such moments were when people bought Bitcoin in 2011 and held it for almost a decade.
My experience is that when I was a beginner, I sold my every Bitcoin when the price reached $1000 because I thought that it was a pinnacle. Then I learnt that I should hold my coins and I also understood that halving is one of the most important events in Bitcoin's history. When I realized that, I started making a profit but in 2020, I was still inexperienced in trading, I was inpatient, I wanted to profit from the price fall too and I started trading with short positions but then I learnt from a huge mistake that I should really hold my coins. At the moment, after 8 years of experience, I'm doing well.
Ohh great you are doing so well now, but a definishing of a beginner in trading might to totally mean a novice. I perceive it to mean a person that has acquired basic knowledge about trading, at least he knows what a sell and buy is and might equally know when to do that.
To say a beginner doesn't know anything at all in trading might be rather a hasty generization.
As his knowledge is rather basic, if he applies such to the market and it happens that he might be lucky,

Bitcoin is headed to $100,000 and that's not speculation. OK, maybe it is, but the 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K challenge is real and has been echoing throughout the community for a week now, so I thought I would make a thread here for those of us who want to try and hold ourselves accountable.

I myself started this challenge on 2/2/24 and hope to inspire other Bitcoiners to take this step to help build some muscle in the community.

My only real tips would be to not worry about trying to do 100 push-ups at once. Break them down into as small of sets as you need to keep from hurting yourself.
If 100 a day is too much, maybe try to start with whatever "K" the Bitcoin price is at and work your way up to 100 along with Bitcoin.

Been an interesting journey enjoying the pleasure in the pain of exerting my muscles knowing fully well that I am doing this for bitcoin to keep pushing to $100,000
With this exercise, this has just given me stronger upper body which I have always longed for.
It gives me more confidence to stand tall making me feel fit and knowing fully well I am doing this not just for my health but for bitcoin to get to the level i anticipate.

86 more days for me and then I will have been doing this challenge for an entire year. Hard to believe really. I think I will always remember this year of my life as the year I did 100 push-ups every single day. Not to say I won't continue doing push-ups from here on out, but I'd like to think I won't be obsessing over making sure I get them done daily.

I am not stopping till I get all those muscles really tough, I just hit 80 push ups this morning definitely completing it before the day runs out. I am so happy at the spike on bitcoin and that encourages to push more
Beginners luck is real but I think it can only be possible when the beginner have little experience in the system by having a little bit knowledge of what to do at the right time and when trade is favourable. However, bignner luck may also be dangerous sometime to the begineer because it can give the begineer overconfidence which may result to losing all he has gained including his capital.
If a beginner, after he gets a profit thanks to luck, continues to trade, sooner or later he will lose not only the profit he received, but also the money that he originally had. Therefore, you should not rely solely on luck, it is necessary for a beginner to gain knowledge so that his trade becomes profitable.
Yea yea buttresses my point actually, the beginner shouldn't be so excited about a few profit made, he or she should be patient in mastering the chart to still remain in the system.
The most important thing is that the trader is successful enough in the long term, so that most of the trades are successful and a few losing trades do not greatly affect their results.
To succeed in long term trading, managing their trading capital is most important. If they always use all capital for trading, they can win big or lose big and there is possibility to lose all their capital one day.Avoiding the risks that can be avoided is essential - it's all about risks-management and the responsibility put into it, along with the clear goals in mind when you start your trading session each time.
Great response there, being greedy can equally increase losses in the market, applying risk management is key and knowing that not trading is equally a good trading strategy

I got excited even getting to junior member, I know its still a far journey for me but I feel happy about it, I equally felt happy getting a merit after a post I made and it further encouraged me.
Funny enough i don't blame people that create a special thread for it because I almost did same due to excitement but I had to hold my self back.

So beginners can make a profit not only because of luck but because the strategy and emotions they use are right for those conditions. However, in the next month of trading they experience losses, meaning their strategy is not working well or they cannot control their emotions in trading. So I conclude that beginner's luck at the beginning of trading is not superstition but because the strategy they use happens to be right. Because trading is difficult, it requires skills and strategies. So beginner's luck in trading as a superstition does not exist.
Yea, trading is difficult and requires alot of skills acquired through knowledge and consistently practicing the knowledge gained, beginners Luck I feel happens if you test run a strategy that was learnt, being on the right side of the market at the right time, situations seem to favour you.
Mind you, the beginner just got lucky because he doesn't even know he is on the right place at the right time, he doesn't even know why he took the trade, he just took it and boom! It paid off.
That is pure gambling that can equally wipe his capital in due time. So knowledge really need to be invested in.
Imagine renting on luck in trading bitcoin, damn! You will definitely blow your account.

100 pushups a day for bitcoin has built some of discipline in me. A friend of mine just admired my gradual transformation these few days.
Of a truth bitcoin will definitely have a spike, the bulls are really so active on the chat on an uptrend, let keep our fingers crossed and keep on the healthy target as bitcoin does its thing.

Obviously people who report their pushups in that thread are lying. The price chart clearly shows that they are doing barely 68 pushups instead of a hundred.

Funny enough that's not possible for price of bitcoin to trend towards 3k, no matter the level of chart retracements, it will only do that if the Internet gets banned and humans start living in caves.
Just boost your pushups to about 10 in a day till you can do 50 at least

. I agree with you, for an asset you give a 10% Roi per year means its really a valid asset, banks don't give you that, even if you get that from banks in our dreams its still a fixed Roi unlike bitcoin that can give you way more than that.
in the case of the "negative" as you expressed, might just be a retracement on chat.
From all indications bitcoin has proven to give ZERO losses when invested in.

This is my second day participating in the challenge but I still can't force myself to do 100 in a day because it turns out that this is not as easy as imagined especially for me who is lazy to exercise
The second day there was a little difference for my body where I started to feel a little sore for some points of my body because maybe I was not used to doing this but of course it was not an obstacle because I would still continue to do it tomorrow.

I definitely in for this, 100 pushup till bitcoin gets to $100k, my first day yeah and it feels so cool like my muscles just got reawakened. Though not 100 at once but in 35, 40, 25.
Bitcoin has already hit $72k for now i and I guess it's almost there , after this challenge I know I will look like I really beat not just a coin but my discipline to give bitcoin a good push
