i think the ferrite beads are 300ohm @ 100MHz, 3A, 805 type, that's what I used to replace a burnt out one anyway and it worked. Smiley

Thank you.  This has been sucking for me since the g-blade this happened to was best to OC of the two I have and had the fewest HW errors.

Just out of curiosity, did your performance improve any after this repair?

I don't suppose somebody could tell me what FB28 and FB29 are right next to the barrel connector? FB28 just blew on me, I have a friend who might be able to fix it for me and I'd like to be able to approach him halfway intelligently on this since pcb are not my forte.  Thanks.

I've been looking for something like Minera for what I like to call my mini-Farm.

I've been using Starminer but they don't support mining both gridseed & zeusminer at the same time, but they did suggest I try to compile the coding and give it a shot.  Yeah, I'm not really Linux savvy and I'm still teaching it to myself with a little help, so I picked up a 2nd RPi.

Right now I'm using Zoomhash's newest image to mine both on a single RPi right now, however, the webui is very minimal and not giving me as much information as I would like AND it has no failover capability should the only pool it allows go down.  They are using cpuminer (gridseed) and bfgminer (zeusminer) concurrently, which is giving a surprisingly effective hash rate with all my miners (8Mh/s+ average).

I really like what I see with the images posted of the Minera WebUI and would like to jump on board.  But my big question is will Minera support running Gridseed Blades (1) and Zeusminer Blizzards (2) at the same time. BTW, the rest of my miners will arrive by the end of this week so I'll have double of each.

Thanks

Just an idea here, but check Craigslist or eBay for a netbook.  A buddy of mine was tossing his Acer netbook because the screen wouldn't work, gave it to me and it just turned out to be a bad charger.  So for less than $20 I got a cheap ass, power sipping computer to manage my USB miners and Wallets.  Grin

Total noob here, I've been experimenting with a couple of Antminer U2 and have decided to move ahead and possibly purchase S1 miners.  I'd like to know if these are capable of Scrypt or just SHA-256?  Maybe I'm not searching correctly, but I can't seem to locate any information telling me this.  Thanks
