Interesting project. The dual-chain implementation is a tremendous achievment. If this works well then so many use-cases.

Can you elaborate?

Re: What do u think of a tough keepkey/trezor/leger-nano-s ?

I have a ledger nano and I've never been more happy with it.

Ledger is Cheaper than Trezor for around 20usd/Euro you can get the cheapest one.

And as some other said Even if it " fails some day" A Seed Recovery with 12 Words will restore the Wallet.

Ledger Comes with a Offline Security Card that is unique to the Device and it will be used to sign up Transactions, Even if you lose it you can recover it with the QR code inside the device Manual.
But, using the Offline Security card anytime is not recommended at all, since it has Fixed values It's Possible to be Vulnerable in the Long Run if an attacker decides to Patiently gather data with a keylogger ... But that's where the Android App is useful, you can Synchronize it with the Ledger Wallet and Double Verify transactions from it without using the card at all...

Thing is, I would rather use it as a Cold Storage/Buy and Hold. Since Every time it signs off a transaction it'll wear off a little since it's a NAND memory, so yeah eventually it'll fail and That's why it's not recommended to Micropayments.

thats a big saving from trezor. i will look into this one ty

Looks like demand is growing lately. Hit ath and isn't looking back.

Deregulation and new buyers with a lot of cash like hedge funds and independent nations.

Increase in demand makes price go up.  Bitcoin's supply is limited and follows publicly known formulas.  Increased usage in a country like Japan increases demand for a limited supply.

I think most of the btc mega rich got into it when it was extremely cheap.  Don't know many people who cashed out their stocks, sold their houses, sold their businesses, etc and bought btc with it.

Heard about this on slack.  Great way to even further expand the community!  I didn't catch where the funds were originating from.  I assumed it was through token slated for dev costs?

No, it actually comes from generous community members and members of the "ecosystem club".

They recognized the potential and acted accordingly.

That's exactly what good investors do!

Everything came from the community, there was no premine, not 1 Iota was allocated to the devs. The community donated close to 5% of total Iota supply to Foundation long after ICO. The core dev team bought all of there Iota during ICO.

Just to be more clear, this fund is not part of previous donations/funds, it's a totally different fund;

(1)The communities donated to the IOTA FOUNDATION
(2)The communities has donated to the "big deal" (still mostly behind the scenes)
(3)Now the communities has come together and created and funded the "ecosystem club" and it kind of work hand in hand with IOTA FOUNDATION funds as well.

Great job to everyone that has participated in those donations!
I am very grateful for our communities' willingness to think above themselves.
In the end, if we stick together, it will all pay back.

If I have missed some other efforts, please let me know.

Wow all from donations?  The community donated millions?
