v11.9:

- fixed issue with incorrect shares for Keccak.

Working fine here.
Thank you!

Can you share what pool are you using for Keccak, im always getting no shares or proxy errors

Sure
I am using us pool
-dpool stratum+tcp://us-mine.smartcash.cc:3256

trying to mine eth and keccak (nicehash) with the updated miner... every keccak share is being rejected.. can anyone help?

There's an issue when dual mining eth and keccak with Claymore. They are investigating and have reached out to the developer. Claymore submits low difficulty shares constantly and they aren't sure why.

I saw this on smartcash telegram's.

Since the fork of the SmartCash coin there seem to be an incompatibility with the submitted shares from claymore and pool/blockchain. What we get on the pool side (and also see in claymore log) is:

2018-07-07 18:35:06 [Pool]      [smartcash] (Thread 7) Share rejected: {"job":"1d","ip":"","worker":"","difficulty":261.95348837,"error":"low difficulty share of 6.041715027996023e-7"}

2018-07-07 18:35:27 [Pool]      [smartcash] (Thread 1) Authorized :x []
2018-07-07 18:36:36 [Pool]      [smartcash] (Thread 1) Share rejected:

{"job":"21","ip":"","worker":"","difficulty":2048,"error":"low difficulty share of 5.999277894752977e-8"}

It looks like, that the difficulty of shares are somewhat interpreted wrong. This results in a reject of virtually all shares submitted and potentially caused the significant drop in hashrate that we observed after the fork.

Mining works fine using other single miners.

Any ideas are welcome -- either here or in our discord.

Please, no one of you is mining ethereum with nvidia through Ethermine in win 10?.
I need someone to help me, none of the versions of Claymore work.
I have 1 nvidia running on a rig with AMDs
Claymore 11.7 / Ethermine / Win 10

One of my rigs has 2 AMD RX 470 and 1 GTX 1070.
So I always put -powlim, -cclock, -mclock, -tt, -fanmin and -fanmax only for the first 2 cards because it was not supported for NVIDIA and MSI Afterburner opened to control NVIDIA clocks and fan.

Now I am trying to stop using MSI Afterburner and use only Claymore commandline.
But on MSI Afterburner,

while on AMD I set Power Limit +15, Core Clock 1250, Memory Clock 2080,

on NVIDIA I set Power Limit 102, Core Clock +85 and Memory Clock +700 (for example).

How could I 'translate' that into Claymore commandline? Since MSI Afterburner shows 1898 MHz for coreclock and 4498 MHz for memory clock on NVIDIA so I assume that I have to use -cclock 1898 -mclock 4498 ?

Is it correct?

Thank you!

Probably a dumb question, but, where do I find the Readme? Huh
On the first post of this topic or in the miner folder there is a file named "Readme!!!"

Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.4 (Windows/Linux)

Hello guys,
I am a noob miner since 2 months. From 10.6 to 11.4, i have got a same problem.

I have 6 RX588 rig, 30M hashrate for each card.

Sometimes after restarting the Claymore, or after reboot the machine and then start the Claymore, the Hashrate will down to 26 or 27, it may be return to 30 by itself after one or two hour, maybe not.

If i disable the GPU by clicking the number for 5 sec, and then enable it, the hashrate will be return to 30.

Does anyone has the same problem or the solution?

Thanks ~~~~~~~~~~~

Nobody else has the same problem?
I always had and still have this issue. Not a big issue since disabling and enabling get the hashrate back to expected.

I don't know why this happens but @zibastian explanation makes sense.

This is an issue with the driver, preventing the correct voltage to be applied after a GPU crash. You can also just restart the miner and you should get your hashrate back. This is not linked to Claymore, you should have the same behaviour with any miner

I flashed my RX 570's back in April 2017.
Claymore's miner has been working stable in version 11.4, 11.3 and any previous version just as well.

I think you guys complaining about crashes must have dodgy memory straps or are just overclocking too far. Just check the log, identify the GPU going down and dial back that OC.

maybe you are right. but i think i/we just maxed our clock/mods with previous version with stability.

now that claymore adjusted the client (i dont know, maybe because the competition has higher hashrate), all those maxed out settings are not compatible anymore, hence, the stability issues.
Exacly
Seems like if you have 11.4 running stable means that you didn't OCed to the max before.

v11.2:

- some improvements in AMD GPU kernels, it can increase hashrate a bit in some cases.
- reduced some delays, it will cause a bit less stale shares.

why on both links only see v. 11.1, can't find 11.2 ?
Because he found a bug and will re-upload.

"I found critical bug with rejected shares (about 1%), you can see them sometimes. Fixing it, I will re-upload v11.2 within an hour."

You perhaps need to readjust -dcri for ETH-only mode, use "+" and "-" keys for that and "s" key to see current speed. You can also try "-asm 2" option with various -dcri to see if it is faster.

Thank you @AnViGo and @Claymore

I use this:

-powlim 15,15,15,15,15,15 -cclock 1150,1150,1150,1150,1150,1250 -mclock 2050,2050,2050,2000,2050,2100 -tstop 85,85,85,85,85,85 -tt 64,64,64,64,64,64 -fanmin 30,30,30,30,30,30 -fanmax 100,100,100,100,100,100 -asm 2

I see that -dcri default is 30.
On v11.0, any value of -dcri between 20 and 90 keeps the hashrate very very similar as -dcri 30 (around #0 29.7 / #1 28.6 / #2 30.Cool

On v11.2, -dcri 30 keeps the hashrate 2MH/s lower and increase while I increase -dcri
Between -dcri 40 and 80, it increases 0.1~3MH/s on each gpu (around #0 29.8 / #1 28.9 / #2 31.0) and 2 GPU hangs 2 times while I was typing this post

Any idea what I can do to increase it a little bit?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the updates!!

This time I had a decrease on 2 MH/s on each RX 570 (I have 6 on this rig).
Any idea why?

Vc usa o MSI Afterburner ?

So my AMD rig updated to the latest Windows build and screwed my drivers up.  Downloaded the latest AMD drivers (18.2.1) and MSI Afterburner 4.4.0 and Claymore 10.6.  I cannot get afterburner to recognize the cards / control the cards at all.  Is Afterburner not yet compatible with the latest drivers?  Didn't find anything via google searches

I have the same configuration except for MSI Afterburner 4.4.2 and the same problem.

Afterburner recognize the cards and control the temperature and fan but don't control core clock and memory clock when claymore is already opened.
I found out that I can disable mining without closing claymore by just pressing the number of gpu (to disable gpu#0, press 0)
After disabling (waiting 1 min) and enabling, my settings on MSI Afterburner are applied to the cards and I can increase hashrate.

But on another rig with 1 RX 570 and 1 GTX 1070, when I change something on MSI Afterburner, it changes the hashrate immediately on claymore.
